Dbeibeh reviews oil sector plans with Acting Minister of Oil
Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh has met with Acting Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdul-Sadiq, to discuss strategic priorities in Libya's oil sector.
The meeting focused on increasing production and developing energy infrastructure, reviewing progress on the Southern Refinery Project, with updates on its implementation stages.
The two officials also followed up on ongoing oil exploration activities in various regions.
They reviewed the outcomes of the latest public bidding round by the National Oil Corporation, which attracted major international interest.
Discussions included improving working conditions in the oil sector and enhancing the work environment, as well as training and qualification programs aiming to improve national workforce efficiency and ensure sustainable operations at production sites.
