M&S' 'perfect' £25 crossbody bag looks 'just like' £630 designer version

Marks and Spencer's bag looks very similar to a designer version - without the hefty price tag Marks and Spencer is selling a crossbody bag that bears a striking resemblance to a designer version. The retailer is well known for its fashion ranges and there may be a new favourite in stock now. The M&S Faux Leather Sling Cross-Body Bag, priced at £25, looks similar to one by designer brand TOTEME - but for a fraction of the cost. The bag is currently only available in chocolate. Marks and Spencer also stocks the £55 Straw Shoulder Bag, and the Faux Leather Woven Shoulder Strap for £45. The retailer also has the Faux Leather Woven Clutch Bag for £35. Alternatively, shoppers looking for a different style could opt for the Next Bone Leather Fringe Cross-Body Bag, priced at £35. New Look also has the Bright Red Quilted Faux Leather Mini Crossbody Bag for £21.99, while River Island stocks the £36 Cream Metal Handle Quilted Tote. M&S' Faux Leather Sling Cross-Body Bag looks similar to the designer version, with matching asymmetrical shape, crossbody strap and suede-look finish. They both also feature a zip closure and gold-tone hardware. However, there are some differences between the two. The M&S version has a slightly thicker strap, and the designer version is made with real leather and suede, while M&S' is not. The Marks and Spencer bag has proven popular online, with many shoppers praising it in their reviews. One person said: "Lovely bag. Great bag. It's very good quality and will go with so many outfits." A second wrote: "Perfect bag! Great bag, fits so much, easy to wear, great colour." A third shopper added: " Quality bag. Excellent bag for wandering round on holiday. Held all I needed. Excellent quality. Looks like leather." However, some shoppers did mention some issues they'd had with the product. One person said: "This bag does look good, but it feels cheap. The faux suede material is very lightweight and just doesn't feel very nice. A return from me." A second wrote: "Nice shape bag which can hold a fair amount keys glasses etc but feels cheap. Kept as I loved the unusual shape." Despite this, many continued to praise the M&S bag. One shopper said: "Love this bag. Looks great and easy to wear. Nice and compact but still big enough to carry a decent amount and also has a handy zipped inner pocket." Another added: "Perfect crossbody bag! Really lovely crossbody bag, fits just the right amount in. Really lovely material feel and comfortable to have around the neck." While the M&S Faux Leather Sling Cross-Body Bag is priced at £25, the TOTEME Suede Shoulder Bag comes in at £630 online. This means shoppers could save around £605 by opting for the cheaper alternative.

Next's £38 'stylish' sandals are 'comfy and don't rub at all from first wear'

Shoppers were impressed with the 'affordable' footwear that 'works with so many outfits' this season Shoppers at Next have claimed that an affordable pair of sandals is both comfortable and trendy right out of the box. Some opted for these over more expensive versions - and haven't stopped raving about the quality. Shoppers can get the Chunky Buckled Sandals in four different colours (black, bone white, metallic blue and patent red) as well as a range of sizes (3-9) all for £38. In some options (ranging from sizes 5-8), people can pick a wide fit, offering a little extra comfort compared to the standard fitting without compromising on style. On its website, a spokesperson for Next wrote: "Get ready for summer, with these holiday-friendly sandals. Featuring a strappy faux leather upper with adjustable buckle fastenings, an open toe and a smooth synthetic footbed, finished with a chunky outsole." If the size and colour that shoppers want aren't available, similar styles are available elsewhere. People might like these faux Leather Buckle Strap Sandals from New Look (reduced from £29.99 to £22.49) or these V by Very Chunky Buckle Sandals (£35). But, its the Chunky Buckled Sandals from Next which have proven popular with dozens of shoppers who shared their approval online. One said: "Lovely, comfy and look great! Most importantly, no rubbing at all!" Another added: " So comfy, soles are quite heavy but not too much, straps are really soft. The width runs slightly big." A third wrote: "So comfortable and trendy!" Someone else shared: "Lovely chunky wide fitting sandals, suit my feet perfectly." And, one more added: "They fit just right, very comfortable. No blisters yet which you can normally get with new sandals." But, not all shoppers were happy with their shoes. One claimed: " Although I love the look of these sandals, I felt as I wore them for a few hours, the straps stretched and they started slipping down and off my heel. They also squeak as I walk. I wouldn't wear them if I had to walk any distance." Another suggested they were "uncomfortable and very clunky". And, a third warned others: "They look good but the practicality of wearing them means the back strap is constantly falling off. I had them on the tightest setting and it still happened." Shoppers who are getting ready for the UK summer, or planning a holiday abroad, can find lots of deals online in Next's dedicated Holiday Shop. It includes all the essentials - from casual daytime outfits to stylish swimwear and classy evening dresses.

Next's 'most comfortable' £29 summer sandals with 'no rubbing'

The sandals come in a stylish design that women have been buying for years Shoppers at Next have been praising a "comfortable and stylish" pair of sandals that many are throwing on as their "go-to sandals for the summer". The affordable footwear was given further glowing reviews as people claimed they come in a "lovely" range of colours. The Forever Comfort® Double Strap Footbed Sandals come in four different styles - perfect for alternating with different summer outfits. All priced at £29, shoppers can pick from black, metallic silver, nude or coral pink. Sizes range from a 3.5 to a size 9, with most styles (excluding metallic silver) are also available in a wider fit for additional comfort. The Next website states that these shoes have a dual strap upper with adjustable buckles. All versions boast having a suede-lined Forever Comfort® footbed and a durable outsole. Shoppers can pick up shoes in a similar style elsewhere, such as New Look's Faux Leather Buckled Strap Sandals (were £16.99, now £12.74). Alternatively, there are these Tylee Double Buckle Sandals by Schuh (sold on ASOS for £50). But, the Next option proved popular with dozens of women. One shopper said: "Very comfortable, and a good price! Definitely my go-to sandals for the summer." Another added: "Very comfortable and straps are soft on top of foot - no rubbing." A third claimed: "These are a great alternative to [a leading brand] at a fraction of the price. The coral ones are a lovely colour." A few did share some issues, though. A shopper claimed: "Love the colour - and I really want them to be great - but so hard to walk in as feel like they are going to fall off all the time. Just wearing around the house as last walk around with the dog the other day was painful." For wide-fit shoppers, someone put: "I really wanted this style of sandal and have wide problem feet, so was looking forward to receiving them. Unfortunately, the sandals were much too wide and, being size 8, my feet looked enormous, so back they went." However, reviews were mostly positive. There was another shopper who bought the nude version and shared: "Great neutral shade for the summer, good fit. The insoles are quite hard at the moment, but hoping they soften up with more wear." A fifth wrote in their review: "Comfortable and stylish." And, one more added: "I've been buying these for many years, always comfortable and good value. Would recommend."

Primark's 'chic' £14 bag looks 'so similar' to £2,700 Loewe style

Primark shoppers can save £2,000 on a 'pretty' £14 style that looks similar to a designer bag Primark is selling a "pretty" £14 bag that resembles a designer style. The retailer is a firm favourite with high street shoppers looking for affordable fashion and accessories, and the Ruched Chain Strap Pouch Bag could be a new crowd-pleaser. The £14 Primark pouch bag is available in ecru or burgundy, and the red style looks similar to a pricier alternative by designer brand Loewe. However, Loewe's Medium Flamenco purse in mellow nappa lambskin is priced much higher at £2,700. ‌ The designer style is available in more than ten colours, including a sea salt shade comparable to Primark's ecru bag, though the burnt red arguably looks the most similar to Primark's offering. The bags are very similar in design, with a deep red tone, rouched shape, knot detailing, and gold chain. ‌ However, the Loewe chain is red and gold, whereas the Primark chain is only one colour. The Loewe bag has a detachable leather strap, and it is made from nappa lambskin with suede lining. Conversely, Primark's bag is finished with a leather-look effect, but it is made from 50 per cent polyester and 50 per cent polyurethane. Primark's product description explains: "Summer style? It's in the bag! Upgrade your new season accessories edit with this pretty pouch bag. "Made from a soft faux leather, this bag has a luxe look and feel that's perfect for evenings spent out on the town. The pouch style is super chic, meanwhile the gold-toned chain strap handle adds to its polished look and feel. A must-have piece you'll reach for on repeat, it's here to carry you through this season and beyond!" Loewe's product description says: "The Flamenco purse is a lightweight and soft bag with a ruched shape, historical knot drawstrings and a donut chain. This medium version is crafted in mellow nappa lambskin." The designer brand also offers a Mini Flamenco purse in mellow nappa lambskin for £2,200 and a Large Flamenco purse in mellow nappa lambskin for £3,200. ‌ While the listing for the Primark bag does not include dimensions, it is at least £2,000 cheaper than each designer bag. You can check availability at your nearest store here. Alternatively, shoppers looking for a similar style from another retailer might prefer Dune London's Leather Drawstring Bag, on offer from £159 to £79. While it looks similar to both the Primark and Loewe bags, it differs in that it is made from leather but has a recycled synthetic lining, and there are other design differences. Dune London's product description says: "Slouchy styles are always sought after, so snap up Primrose L today and treat yourself to a shoulder bag with effortless charm. Boasting a magnetic closure, elegant gold-tone chain details and multiple straps, it's a versatile addition to your accessories edit."

Priyanka Chopra Slips Into Giuseppe Zanotti Sandals at ‘The Last 5 Years' Opening Night With Nick Jonas

Priyanka Chopra turned a business-chic look alongside husband Nick Jonas at the opening night of his new Broadway show 'The Last 5 Years' in New York City on Sunday. The 'Quantico' star donned a sleek black vest featuring lapels that gave way to a plunging neckline and a form-fitting pencil skirt that sat high on the waist and hit just above the knee. She styled the sultry, office-inspired set with strappy black sandals courtesy of Giuseppe Zanotti. More from Footwear News Chrissy Teigen Talks 'Self-Conscious' Podcast on 'Today' Wearing White Giuseppe Zanotti Sandals Tracee Ellis Ross Chooses Fringe Dress and Giuseppe Zanotti Slingback Heels for 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars After Party Chopra opted for one of the brand's most popular silhouettes, the 'Intriigo Strap.' Countless celebrities have reached for the same style, including Bella Hadid, Tracee Ellis Ross, Alix Earle, and Lily Collins. The sandals are defined by a distinctive toe strap that becomes thinner in the middle and a slinky ankle strap that criss-crosses in the back. The 'Intriigo Strap,' which comes in various other colorways and finishes, is complete with a sharp pointed toe and an ultra-skinny stiletto heel that measures approximately 4 inches high. Chopra went with a classic black leather version. The actress and film producer tied her look together with a bit of bling that included silver hoop earrings dotted with sparkly diamonds and stacked diamond bracelets. Meanwhile, Nick Jonas sported a dapper black pinstripe suit with black shoes from Burberry. Styled by Sydney Lopez, the Jonas Brothers star wore a white tank top under the double-breasted blazer. Over the years, Chopra has become known for her head-turning ensembles on and off the red carpet. Whether she's hitting the pavement, appearing on a talk show, or attending a premiere, her outfits tend to garner attention. For instance, she showed off striking sandals courtesy of Christian Louboutin and Aquazzura at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last December. Other luxury brands she's worn recently include Tom Ford, Paris Texas, Oscar de la Renta, Saint Laurent, and Dolce & Gabbana. She tends to gravitate toward monochromatic looks and favors strappy sandals. While her shoes last night were somewhat understated, she's no stranger to stepping out in a bold statement heel.
