NOTTS COUNTY have sacked manager Stuart Maynard. The Magpies reached the League Two play-offs but were beaten by AFC Wimbledon in the semi-finals. The pair released a joint statement announcing their reason for sacking Maynard. It reads: 'After being unable to achieve our aim of winning promotion this season, we share the disappointment felt by everyone connected with the club.
