Top local record producer Luncai Emas unleashes the talented Iskandar Zulkarnain in his comeback trail with 'Sewaktu Bahgia'
After a long hiatus, the talented pop-rock singer Iskandar Zulkarnain, former singer of Projektor Band, is now coming out with his latest solo single titled Sewaktu Bahagia. This emotional song was released under the Luncai Emas label, marking his next artistic journey.
''Sewaktu Bahagia'' was born from a true story experienced by composers and lyricists under Luncai Emas, namely Aidil AF and Jeremy Erskine, who each faced disappointment in love. Lyric lines such as 'kau berjalan tanpa ku sedar, kau rasahkan sukuk bahagia' encapsulate the disappointment of a lover who ruined the happiness they once experienced.
This song is an honest expression of the heart, embroidered with the beauty of melody and the pain of love feelings.
Iskandar was previously known for his distinctive voice and ability in 'emotional' songs that have been hits on the radio before.
''I am very honoured and grateful to be able to collaborate with big names like Aidil Af and Datuk M. Nasir. This song not only reflects my personal story, but also symbolizes my resurgence in the world of music,'' said Iskandar.
Iskandar also expressed his hope that ''Sewaktu Bahagia'' would not only be well received but would also become an evergreen song that would continue to be relevant across generations.
He also expressed his appreciation to the fans who have never stopped supporting him and have been faithfully waiting for his comeback. 'Thank you for all the prayers and support. Expect the best from me,' he said.
Luncai Emas Sdn Bhd Production Director – Keon Omar has chosen Hidayat Nasir, a young producer to take on the responsibility of producing this single.
"I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to produce the latest song sung by Iskandar Zulkarnain, created by Aidil, which marks Iskandar's comeback after several years of going on a break. This collaboration would not have been possible without the support of Luncai Emas who believed in my abilities as a new producer," said Hidayat Nasir, producer of the song Sewaktu Bahagia and also guitarist for the band Pitahati.
The production process of this song also received a special touch from music legend M. Nasir, who also guided and monitored Iskandar in delivering this song more effectively, and the singer said that it had a great impact on the final quality of this work.
For the record, Iskandar Zulkarnain is a Malaysian singer-songwriter and previously vocalist of Projector Band, a popular pop-rock group known for their emotional and melodic music with their hit single "Sudah Ku Tahu", which became a chart-topping success and resonated with fans for its heartfelt lyrics and catchy tune.
