Waterhouse made the revelation when she took to Twitter on Monday, to respond to fans who have been wondering why she hasn't been tweeting that much this year. ''Suki you never tweet anymore' - have you ever considered I wore pants so tight six months ago it caused a hernia and I've been too scared to tell you?' Suki also tweeted a selfie taken from her hospital bed and an image of herself performing on the supporting tour for her Memoir of a Sparklemuffin album. The concert photo showed Suki wearing figure-hugging black leather pants.

‘Giving racism': Internet unleashes on Aussie's Japan post
An Australian influencer and business owner has been grilled amid claims of cultural appropriation during her holiday to Japan. The internet unleashed at All For Mimi founder Sophia Begg, known online as Sopha Dopha, after she posted a series of photos capturing her first day in Tokyo to her Instagram. Begg can be seen posing against a vending machine sporting a polka dot bandana, bright pink shorts and a baggy white t-shirt branded with Japanese characters 'Suki' which translates to 'like' or 'love.' Subsequent photos show Begg and her two friends, including employee Bailey, indulging in matcha and ramen while exploring the city. The 21-year old's post also featured Chinese rapper SKAI ISYOURGOD's song Blueprint Supreme playing over the top. Meanwhile, we as Asians grow up being shamed or mocked for these same things. It's not just a song or a vibe, it's a lived culture, and treating it like a trend is harmful,' one person wrote. 'Look good but it's giving racism,' said another. A third added: 'The casual racism is sending me LMAO.' Many of the people unhappy with Begg's upload took issue with the song choice given it is in Mandarin and is not by a Japanese musician. 'Girl I love you but please the song isn't even in Japanese,' 'You should change the song or remove it. its not even Japanese,' Despite calls for the influencer to remove the audio from the post, Begg has not taken it down or responded to the negative comments.

Suki Waterhouse Gets Hernia From Tight Leather Pants
Suki Waterhouse may have unlocked a new fear for us, thanks to a risky fashion choice. When fans started wondering about her whereabouts on social media, the Daisy Jones & The Six star opened up about a recent health scare that caused her sudden absence. ''Suki you never tweet anymore' have you ever considered I wore pants so tight 6 months ago it caused a hernia & I've been too scared to tell you,' the singer-songwriter wrote to her followers on Monday, July 14. The multihyphenate also shared a series of photos from the incident, including a selfie from a hospital bed and a photo of her performing in the skin-tight leather pants that caused her hernia. Naturally, the replies to her post were filled with concern and confusion, as one fan wrote, 'hope you're feeling better my dear, take care of yourself ❤️.' Another person took the opportunity to share their own experience with the condition, which involves the displacement of organs through the abdomen or groin area. 'Hey I gave my dad a hernia once x,' the fan wrote, to which Suki jokingly replied, 'well done!!' BTW: Here's a closer look at the infamous leather pants in action. Despite being hospitalized, she still sported wired headphones and kept a blue nicotine vape nearby. 'Vape in the hospital is diabolical,' someone responded, while Suki agreed, writing, 'So true.' Her hospitalization comes after she privately welcomed her daughter with Robert Pattinson in March 2024. The couple announced the birth of their baby the following month with an Instagram post of Suki holding her newborn in a swaddled blanket. 'Welcome to the world angel ❤️,' she captioned the Polaroid photo. As the 'Model, Actress, Whatever' artist is on the mend, she's set to take the stage at Colorado's Up in the Sky Music Festival this summer on August 8. Suki is also hitting the road in support of her sophomore album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, with a slew of festival shows and as an opening act on Laufey's A Matter of Time Tour later this fall.

Suki Waterhouse has revealed she suffered a hernia because her pants were 'so tight'. The 33-year-old singer and actress took to social media with the health news after fans requested she post more messages on X. In response the My Fun hitmaker revealed she was hospitalised six months ago following a clothing faux pas she had been 'too scared' to tell her 165,000 followers. Suki wrote on X: ''suki you never tweet anymore' have you ever considered I wore pants so tight 6 months ago it caused a hernia and I've been too scared to tell you (sic).' The Daisy Jones and the Six star followed her post up with a picture of her in a hospital bed, showing her wearing a gown with a vape balanced on her chest. While some thought the vape was an odd choice of accessory for a hospital, others struck up conversation with the star. Fan @shortnskeetz commented: 'hey I gave my dad a hernia once x (sic).' Suki responded: 'well done!!' And the shocked supporter clarified: 'oh um hi xx i didnt give it to him intentionally btw I was like 7.' Suki's medical update comes just over a year after she gave birth to her first child with her fiance Robert Pattinson. As per the NHS, a hernia occurs when an internal part of the body pushes through a weakness in the muscle or surrounding tissue wall. A hernia usually develops between your chest and hips. In many cases, it causes no or very few symptoms, although you may notice a swelling or lump in your tummy (abdomen) or groin. The lump can often be pushed back in or disappears when you lie down. Coughing or straining may make the lump appear. Once a diagnosis has been confirmed, a GP or hospital doctor will determine whether surgery to repair the hernia is necessary. A month later, the star confirmed she had given birth, sharing a polaroid in which she cradled the baby, positioned so her hand covered the child's face. She wrote: 'welcome to the world angel [heart emoji] (sic)' Suki later confirmed she had welcomed a baby girl, and said she felt 'very lucky' to have an 'amazing little lady' in her life. Speaking live on stage during her Coachella set last year, she said: 'I don't know if some of you know, but I had some big life changes happen recently, some pretty big events have been going down. 'I love amazing ladies and I've been very lucky to have my own little amazing lady and meet the love of my life.' The couple, who were first linked in 2018, are yet to reveal their little one's name. In a British Vogue cover star interview last year, Suki revealed she and Robert met at a Hollywood games night also attended by the likes of Al Pacino, in which they played Traitors-esque party game Werewolf.
