Agniveer recruitment rally: Army official inspects CEE centres
Prayagraj: Deputy director general recruiting (states), Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Lucknow, Brigadier Swarn Singh inspected the online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) centres in Prayagraj on Monday.
Defence PRO, Wing Commander Debartho Dhar, said as part of the Indian Army's ongoing commitment to fair and technology-driven recruitment, the senior officer visited TCS iON Digital Zone, Sallahapur, and iTech Zone, Jhunsi, to assess the conduct and administration of the online CEE being held for the Agniveer Recruitment Rally 2025. The online CEE is being conducted pan-India from June 30 to July 10, under the aegis of the Recruiting Directorate, Indian Army.
Introduced two years ago as a major reform initiative, the digital examination process represents a paradigm shift in the Army's approach to recruitment, aimed at ensuring transparency, fairness and ease of access for candidates from all backgrounds.
Singh undertook a comprehensive review of the operational setup at both examination centres. Key aspects such as biometric authentication, CCTV monitoring, examination room environment, candidate handling and digital invigilation systems were thoroughly examined.

The DDG also interacted with some candidates and inquired about their experience with the online format, the difficulty level of the question paper, and any logistical or technical challenges they may have encountered. Candidates responded positively, expressing appreciation for the convenience and clarity of the new system.
