Charli XCX and George Daniel Are Reportedly Married
THE RUNDOWN On Saturday, it was reported that Charli XCX and her longtime fiancé George Daniel had tied the knot. A video of the couple seemingly posing with their families in their wedding attire was shared on X, formerly Twitter. The singer could be seen wearing a white off-the-shoulder gown with ruched fabric wrapping around her waist. Her hair was down and she carried a white bouquet and had a white bow pinned in her hair. It's not clear when the footage was taken, but it was rumored in June that the couple had gotten hitched when Daniel referred to Charli as his 'wife' in an Instagram post. The 1975 drummer shared a pic of her bright green Brat album cover, writing, 'What a campaign, what an album, what a life, what a wife.' A source told The Sun earlier this month that the couple planned a ceremony in Sicily. 'Charli and George fell in love with Sicily and knew they wanted to get married there,' the insider said. 'It's incredibly secluded and romantic. There will be no expense spared. It's costing tens of thousands of pounds and visually it will be mesmerizing. Charli and George said they wanted a massive party and there are no restrictions on when the bar has to close, so it can go on all night.' The source added, 'They have both had such a busy summer with massive shows, but from mid-August they're able to slow down and focus on their big day. It's going to be pretty star-studded too, with plenty of their celeb mates making the journey over to Sicily to watch them say 'I do.' Charli and George are so excited to become man and wife.' Charli first announced her engagement in November 2023 in a now-deleted post on Instagram that included pics of an engagement ring, writing, 'Charli xcx and george daniel fucking for life!!!' The couple met in 2019 and began dating two years later. They have frequently collaborated with one another, including on Charli's track 'Spinning' and her 2022 album, Crash. Daniel was also involved with her massive hit Brat album, including the songs 'Apple' and 'Club Classics.'

Travis Kelce Posted a Rare Reply to a Taylor Swift Comment That Went Viral
THE RUNDOWN On Thursday, Travis Kelce posted a rare reply to an online comment about his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The NFL star was apparently watching musical artist Jelly Roll on ESPN's The Pat McAfee Show, where the singer was shouting out his own favorite artists. He suggested Morgan Wallen and Post Malone, before thinking of Swift. But then he couldn't stop gushing. 'She's the GOAT!' Jelly Roll insisted. 'I will fistfight anybody who says otherwise. Travis, don't even worry I got this one. You know what I mean? She's the GOAT.' Kelce commented on McAfee's Instagram post of the moment, writing, 'my dawg is the realest!!' adding some laughing and high-five emojis for emphasis. The comment has already garnered over 3,000 likes as fans seem to agree. Swift and Kelce have been enjoying some downtime together ahead of training camp for his team, the Kansas City Chiefs. The football player had a spring and summer break following the team's loss at the Super Bowl in February. Swift wrapped up her Eras Tour in December. The couple has been spotted in New York City, Florida, and Tennessee during the last few months. A source told People in April, 'They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it. They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It's a special time for them.' The source added that the couple is 'very serious and in sync.' 'They value the same things,' the source said. 'Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.'

Why Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt Feel ‘So Excited' and Ready to Start a Family
THE RUNDOWN Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt announced they were expecting their first child this week. The couple is reportedly 'so excited' to become parents, per a source speaking with People. 'They're both very nurturing people and are very, very happy together and to be starting a family,' the insider said. 'They've been sharing privately with loved ones, and it's a really sweet time after everything Pete has overcome. He's so excited. He's always wanted to be a dad.' A second source told the publication that Davidson has been 'more intentional' about his relationships in general and who he interacts with since becoming romantically involved with Hewitt. 'Pete and Elsie are happy and cannot wait to welcome their baby,' the second source continued. 'He's grown up a lot, and he's so excited about this next chapter as a dad. He's more intentional about who he lets into his life now, and with Elsie, it was never about headlines or the spotlight, and that's exactly what he needs.' The couple has been romantically linked since March, when they were seen enjoying a vacation in Palm Beach, Florida. By May, they had reportedly moved in together in New York City. Davidson told comedian Kevin Hart in 2022 that he had been thinking about starting a family on Hart's talk show, Hart to Heart. 'My favorite thing ever, which I'm yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid,' Davidson said. 'It's super corny, but it would be so fun to dress up a little dude. I'm so excited for that chapter so that's kind of what I'm just preparing for now, is trying to be like good as a dude and develop and get better so when that happens it's just easier.'

Ariana Grande Shares a ‘Perfect Witch' Tribute to Her Late Nonna
THE RUNDOWN On Saturday, Ariana Grande shared a carousel of pictures from her recent life, with several nods to her grandmother, Marjorie Grande, known by the family as 'Nonna.' The singer announced her Nonna's passing at the age of 99 in late June. In her new post, she shared photos with her grandmother when she was a young girl, a shot of her brother, Frankie Grande, wearing a shirt emblazoned with 'Nonna' in rhinestone lettering, a video of her mother, Joan Grande, receiving a kiss from Marjorie, and a quote from her grandmother of particular significance. Over a shot of the moon out in a bright sky, Ariana wrote the question, 'Are you a good witch or a bad witch?' Underneath, she shared her grandmother's response, in which she said, 'I'm a perfect witch.' Over the last several years, Ariana has been filming the movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, Wicked, in which she plays Glinda the Good Witch. The conversation she shared seems to imply she and her Nonna had obviously discussed the themes of the film together. The singer shared her mother's announcement of Marjorie's passing in her Instagram Stories, which read, 'We are devastated to share that the beloved matriarch of our family has passed away. Marjorie (Nonna) Grande passed peacefully in her home and was surrounded by her family and loved ones for every moment of her last few weeks.' She later shared a black-and-white photo of Marjorie on her wedding day, writing in the caption, 'Forever.' Marjorie made an appearance on Ariana's most recent album, Eternal Sunshine, vocalizing on 'Ordinary Things.' 'And as I told her, never go to bed without kissin' goodnight / That's the worst thing to do,' Marjorie can be heard saying on the track. 'Don't ever, ever do that / And if you can't, and if you don't feel comfortable doing it / You're in the wrong place, get out.'

'And Just Like That…' Fans Caught a Bizarre Plot Hole in the Most Recent Episode
THE RUNDOWN And Just Like That... we have a major continuity error. On last week's episode of the Sex and the City spinoff, Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker) finds out that her dad passed away from a stroke. She breaks down in tears and later tells Charlotte that she regrets not being able to spend more time with him because she was so busy with work (she's currently editing a docuseries). However, fans quickly pointed out that Lisa's dad had already been killed off. In the first season back in 2021, after Mr. Big's tragic Peloton death, Lisa and Charlotte had a conversation about grief, and Lisa revealed that her dad had died the year before. Then, in season 2, Lisa's dad (Billy Dee Williams) attended her anniversary party. So, essentially, he died, came back to life, and then died again across three seasons. Days after the episode aired, a source close to AJLT told IndieWire that Lisa was referring to her stepdad in season 1. In a recent interview with Variety, Ari Parker discussed her character's loss of her father. 'It comes as a surprise, and like any human, losing someone you love is earth-shattering, no matter how old you are,' she said. 'It does shake her ground in a way that makes her a little bit more focused—maybe a little hyper-focused. And now her marriage is, you know, not in trouble, but someone else can get her attention in this vulnerable place. So I think the death made her unsteady in a way that she might not even realize.' She also spoke about fans' strong reactions to the series. When asked if she thinks people have finally calmed down now that the show is in its third season, she responded, 'I think they have not calmed down, but they can't stop watching.' And Just Like That... drops new episodes every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max.
