Despite having only 3,885 followers, the post has since generated more than 23.4k likes, with 724 comments with Instagram users sharing their reactions -- with the initial wave leaning toward the negative. "Honor? Really?" read one comment, with another echoing, "Honour ... ? Why different from any other guest ... ?" "I hope you made her wash some dishes or wait on a couple tables," another commented. "Thanks! Now I know where NOT to go," wrote someone else. Following the first wave of negativity, however, a flood of positive comments started coming through -- defending the restaurant and their decision to post a photo with Jenner. "People who are getting mad at this need to touch grass," the top comment wrote. "So weird that people are getting upset over this post. I promise you if a celebrity as famous as Kylie Jenner supported a business that they owned they would want to post about it too!! I think that's amazing for this restaurant!" another Instagram user came in defense for the restaurant. "I will be visiting Greece only to eat at this restaurant, all thanks to Kylie," another added. Uploading an image of the pair flanking Kylie, the owners wrote: "An inspiring guest, and one of the most influential women of her generation." They continued: "She experienced a taste of our Greek hospitality and cuisine. It was a true pleasure to host such a remarkable guest. We hope to welcome her again soon! Dendrinos Family." But despite their own pride of the occasion, it appears users online were less appreciative. One user bluntly asked: "'Honour? Why different from any other guest?" 'Honour? For what?," fumed another. "For [being] plastic [and lying] about it and [making] young girls insecure about [themselves]? Ohh noooo!." And a third seemed to echo the opinion. They then slammed: "Thanks! Now I know where NOT to go." It wasn't all negative vibes, though, with other users telling the owners to ignore the "jealous" commenters. "This comment section is so negative. And they also claim all produce is based locally, with the majority of the vegetables used in the spot grown in their own garden. And Kylie is far from the first famous face to descend on the restaurant. Back in 2022, Demi Moore paid the spot a visit. Similarly to their post about Kylie, the owners gushed over the actress and praised her "timeless beauty and solid personality" saying it was "bright enough to capture our hearts". Kylie recently missed her half-bother Brody's wedding after he tied the knot in Malibu. Both Kylie and sister Kendall decided to swerve the occasion after reports they didn't RSVP to Brody's commitment ceremony in Bali with his then girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter, in 2018. Despite skipping the recent wedding in California, a source told TMZ there is no bad blood, but "mutual love" between the Jenners sisters and Brody. They suggested Kylie and Kendall may have swerved the event "to keep the spotlight on the bride and groom".
