Sabrina Carpenter's Pre-Fame Album Mounts An Impressive Comeback

(Photo by) Sabrina Carpenter is currently in Europe performing the second leg of her Short n' Sweet Tour. She first played to crowds in the United Kingdom back in March, and now she's returned for several more performances in London. Her return to the capital is partially to thank for her huge surge on the charts across the U.K. Many of Carpenter's songs are benefitting from all the attention, as is the album she released just before becoming a global powerhouse. Emails I Can't Send, which dropped in the summer of 2022, is currently living on four charts in the U.K. this frame – an impressive resurgence for a title that wasn't present on any of them last week. Emails I Can't Send Returns to the U.K. Charts Emails I Can't Send reappears at No. 70 on both the Official Albums chart and the Official Physical Albums tally. It also lands at No. 73 on the Official Albums Streaming list and No. 78 on the Official Albums Sales ranking. A Year on the Charts Emails I Can't Send has now spent over a year on both the main list of the biggest albums in the U.K. and the ranking of the most-streamed collections. The project has not yet reached that milestone on either of the sales-based tallies, but with a few more weeks on those lists, it certainly could. Throughout all that time, Emails I Can't Send has never climbed higher than No. 25 on any of those rosters. It reached that high mark on the list of the bestselling albums available in a physical format. The project only recently broke into the top 40 for the first time on the most competitive and all-encompassing albums roster, where it stalled at No. 40. Short N' Sweet Lives Inside the Top 10 As Emails I Can't Send breaks back onto several charts, Short n' Sweet holds inside the top 10 on five of the Official tallies in the U.K. At the moment, the Grammy-winning effort ranks as the third-most-consumed project in the nation, trailing behind two classic albums from Oasis that shoot north thanks to that band's just-launched reunion tour. Carpenter's beloved project reappears on multiple lists across the pond, climbing on several while dipping slightly on the Official Albums Streaming chart.

(Image: Getty Images ) Presenter Jamie Laing is to be joined by his wife Sophie Habboo on his BBC Radio 1 show after co-presenter Vick Hope goes on maternity leave. Habboo will appear on Going Home, which runs from Monday to Thursday between 3.30pm and 6pm, from June 2 to June 18, as Hope joins Laing's other co-presenter Katie Thistleton on maternity leave. Habboo, who rose to fame on reality TV show Made In Chelsea, said: "I'm thrilled to finally announce that I'll be joining the Radio 1 family for the next few weeks. "I've always loved how radio connects people across the nation in real time, and I'm honoured to be stepping in for Vick while she starts her exciting new chapter of life. "Anyone who knows me knows I'm no stranger to talking to a mic for hours, so I'm excited to connect with new people, dive into some great conversations, and hopefully share a few laughs along the way. "I'll also be making a bit of Radio 1 history presenting alongside my husband Jamie Laing, which feels really special, and probably a bit chaotic in the best way. Catch you on-air." The pair will become the first married couple to present a show together on Radio 1, but they have previously hosted the NewlyWeds podcast and red carpet events such as the Brit Awards together. Habboo will appear on the show from Monday to Wednesday. On June 23, Sam MacGregor and Danni Diston will take over from Habboo as co-hosts on the show. Radio 1 has also announced that former I'm A Celebrity contestant GK Barry will take over the weekend afternoon show, which runs from Friday to Sunday between 1pm and 4pm, throughout July, beginning on Friday July 4. Special guests will co-host with the social media star, who presents the Saving Grace podcast. Barry said: "I am so excited to be presenting my own show with BBC Radio 1 across July.
