Joanne says the mystery seller has now blocked her phone number and disappeared "to Spain ", leaving herself and 50 other music fans furious. In an Instagram video, Joanne said: "Glastonbury update. The guy I bought a ticket off said it'd be there by 6. If it's not there by 6 ring me. "No sign of the ticket. We're ringing him, we're blocked. He is gone. The money is gone. There is no ticket. We were robbed. And obviously it wasn't cheap because it was Glastonbury and it's a once in a lifetime experience." Advertisement READ MORE ON GLASTONBURY Joanne, who had spent this week shopping for outfits for the festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset , called herself "an idiot" for falling for the trick. She added: "Anyway, we're not going to Glastonbury. If anyone needs an acid house hat, 60 packs of wet wipes or a barrel of poppers let me know because i'm not going to be using them. "It's so weird because some people did get their tickets off him. A load of us didn't get our tickets from him, apparently its like 50 of us. So he took a couple of grand off 50 people and he's now in Spain or something." Joanne had been due to go to Glastonbury with her close friend, content creator Rossi Lewis. Advertisement Most read in TV Rossi had used a different concierge company to purchase his ticket to the one Joanne handed her money over to. On his Instagram account, Rossi filmed himself as he headed to a property he believed was registered to Joanne's ticket scammer. Foo Fighters make surprise Glastonbury performance as The Churn Ups Joanne later explained what Rossi found when her got to the house: "Apparently, he listed this concierge company to his parents' address," she said. Rossi has since claimed the man in question has called him to apologise for the scam, which has left Joanne seriously out of pocket. Advertisement "The story just gets even more crazy," Rossi said on his Instagram Stories. "I think Joanne will finally make it on to Netflix - not as a comedian, but as a witness on this absolutely crazy story. "I've just got a call from the guy who scammed the tickets. He basically called to apologise. "He said, 'I'm so sorry for what I've done to everyone. I feel terrible'. Advertisement "I mean, his whole story could be made up, but he said he's still in Spain and has been owing money for years and years and years. He just didn't see a way out, he's been planning this for six months. "He said it was the only way he could get this money, which I think adds up to a sum of £110,000, to pay off his debts." Both Joanne and Rossi have now issued a plea for a new ticket so she can make it to Glastonbury. The gates to this year's festival opened on Wednesday and thousands of revellers will be descending onto Worthy Farm today. Rock legend ‘gives away' he's Glastonbury's mystery performer as he flies into UK days before festival
GLASTONBURY fans have gone wild after one mega music star dropped a huge hint that he's headed to the festival. The American musician has flown in to the UK just days before this year's Glastonbury gets underway at Worthy Farm. 5 5 Fans are convinced he will be making a 'surprise' appearance at the huge music event - especially as he has done it before. Dave Grohl, 56, has sent fans into a spin after posing for a photo with US singer Amanda Palmer at London 's Royal Albert Hall. Amanda was backstage at a gig by rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs when she bumped into the Foo Fighters legend. After grabbing Dave for a photo, she shared it on social media and told her followers: "Well I'll be damned. Not who I expected to run into backstage at the Yeah Yeah Yeah's show in London tonight, but look, it's Dave Grohl. She added: "We shared a sweet conversation mostly singing the cosmic praises of Melissa auf der Maur, whose magnificence truly obscures both of us. "It was really nice to meet you, Dave." Writing on Reddit, fans have been quick to make the connection between Dave's trip to London and next week's Glastonbury Festival. In 2023, a mystery act called The Churn Ups caused a stir when they featured on the Pyramid Stage bill. Fans went into a frenzy trying to work out who the band was, before they were eventually unmasked as The Foo Fighters. Starting a new thread on Reddit, music fans are now convinced Dave will be making another surprise appearance at Glastonbury. Fans slam Glastonbury as 'worst one ever' as full lineup announced One wrote: "Dave Grohl is in London, likely will be at the festival. Has done bits with John Fogerty in the past and other acts. Surely will be popping up at places this year?" Another replied: "Drumming for Alanis Morrisette possibly? Tribute for Taylor Hawkins?" And a third added: "100% will be milling about - I'd say a couple of guest appearances are a safe bet. Maybe Alanis for a song or Neil Young for an encore." The Foo Fighters' surprise Glastonbury set in 2023 was the first time the band had been at the festival since headlining in 2017. It was also their first major gig in the UK following the death of the band's drummer Taylor Hawkins, who passed away in March 2022 aged 50. Taylor had joined The Foo Fighters in 1997 and, prior to that, was the drummer on Alanis Morrissette's tour. Canadian musician Alanis is listed to perform on the Pyramid Stage at 6.15pm next Friday (June 27), which would be the perfect time for Dave to appear. Other headliners this year include The 1975, Neil Young, Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX, Doechii and The Prodigy. Glastonbury 2025 - confirmed acts so far TICKETS to the 2025 festival sold out in just minutes before some of the acts were even confirmed. Here is who has been confirmed so far. Confirmed headliners: The 1975 will take to the Pyramid Stage on Friday. Neil Young will headline the festival for the second time after his last set in 2009 on Saturday after RAYE makes her return. Charli xcx will headline the Other Stage on Saturday night. On Sunday, Olivia Rodrigo is due to belt out her hits for her first appearance while Rod Stewart will perform in the legends slot. More acts to appear on the Other Stage include Loyle Carner and The Prodigy. Doechii will make her Glastonbury debut on the West Holts Stage on Saturday night. Other names confirmed include Noah Kahan, Alanis Morissette, Gracie Abrams, Busta Rhymes, Lola Young, Brandi Carlile, Myles Smith, En Vogue, Amaarae, Cymande, Shaboozey, Osees and Gary Numan. Rod Stewart will also be performing in the Legends slot, having previously headlined at Worthy Farm 23 years ago. This week, the rock icon revealed in an interview how much he is being paid to perform this year - and how much he is set to lose. Rod told the Radio Times: "It was about eight months ago when I was asked to do it, maybe a little longer. But it didn't fit with my schedule because I've got to bring everybody back from America. "It's going to cost me £300,000 to do it and they only pay you about 120,000 quid. So it's going to cost me." 5 5 5

Glastonbury headliner that doesn't exist has fans guessing at surprise artist
A mystery act called Patchwork will play the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, but who are they? Fans take a guess at who the unknown artist could be, with theories including Lorde, Haim and Oasis The Glastonbury surprise headline is set to return this summer after the festival 's full timetable was revealed, with one act causing a wave of questions online. Why? Because nobody has heard of them! The mysterious Patchwork have been honoured on 2025's line-up: third line down on Saturday night's main Pyramid Stage. Fans, waiting in excitement, took to searching for the 'new' band, only to realise... they do not exist. The fake band name represents a mystery headliner, as seen in 2023 after The ChurnUps - completely unheard of - appeared on that year's Pyramid bill, only to be revealed on stage as the Foo Fighters. In a wave of speculation, fans started investigating the real identity of Patchwork. We've pulled together a list of the most talked about contenders for who Patchwork could be. Lorde Surprisingly not on the bill after her 'bratty' return, Lorde has launched herself back onto the charts with new song What Was That and iconic feature on Charli XCX's Girl, So Confusing. Celebrating it's one year anniversary, perhaps Patchwork will reveal the two popstars "working it out on the remix," but this time on the Pyramid stage. Lorde told BBC Radio 2's Jo Whiley this week she's "pretty keen" to return to Glastonbury's fields, while Charli is scheduled for another performance at 22:30 - 23:45. So, it's feasible the two could run to the main stage for the 18:00 - 19:00 Patchwork slot. Haim The American sister trio were deemed a strong contender by the BBC as they have both a new album and performance planned in Margate for Glastonbury's Friday. It is likely then for them to travel down to the Southern fields for Saturday's evening stage. Intriguingly, a few fans on X have have uncovered a German novel called Patchwork, 2011, by the author Sylvia Haim, along with a 2015 film on a young group of three women. X user, Tim Street, wrote: "My literary wife has pointed out that Patchwork is a novel by Sylvia Haim, suggesting the Saturday pyramid slot is none other than @HAIMtheband...." Whilst there's a solid possibility of the sister-band, Sylvia Haim, unfortunately, is not a long-lost relative. Help us improve our content by completing the survey below. We'd love to hear from you! Robbie Williams The BBC article also offered up the ex-Take That star as a potential Patchwork, including his new release of album Britpop as evidence. With his album's artwork featuring an old image of Williams playing at Glastonbury in 1995 - and the star's tour making headlines for taking over the Emirates stadium last week - it is easy to believe the Angels singer will appear... if it weren't for his tour show in Werchter, Belgium on June 28, Glastonbury's Saturday. Oasis Others have shared their hopes that Glastonbury's Pyramid stage may continue the Oasis reunion, believing the Gallagher brothers to launch their 'patching-up' early before their concert. This might be the wildest fan theory and, again, very unlikely considering Robbie's tour and the Oasis reunion occurring a week after the festival. Pulp The British pop icons who performed a secret set in 2011, have recently released their first album after 24 years. Fans have highlighted the huge gap in the band's schedule, conveniently around the Glastonbury period. An observational bunch also pinpointed the fact that, during an appearance on BBC Radio 2, band keyboardist, Candida Doyle, mentioned her love for her hobby: patchworking. And although their spokesperson has stated Pulp is not the mystery act, we have to wonder: are they bluffing?

All the clues and theories about who Glastonbury's mystery Patchwork band is
Metro confirmed recently Patchwork – billed to perform at this year's Glastonbury Festival – is not a 'geriatric' band from South London of the same name… You're welcome. So the question remains: who the hell is it? For the uninitiated, the Glastonbury 2025 line-up with all the stage times dropped yesterday, three weeks before the Worthy Farm opens its gates for another year for headline shows by The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo. Listed in the primetime slot of 6.15pm on Saturday June 28 on the coveted Pyramid Stage – between global superstar Raye and John Fogerty – is a mysterious band no one has ever heard of called Patchwork. This is Glastonbury organisers' idea of a funny tease, which will end up being a famous band or musician's surprise set. The same happened in 2023 when The Churn Ups turned out to be The Foo Fighters, who rocked out on the Pyramid Stage in what was an undisputed festival highlight. But Patchwork is not just a random word: it's a riddle. This is clear if The Churn Ups moniker was anything to go by; prior to Glastonbury 2023 fans linked it to the Foo Fighters, as lead singer Dave Grohl was in a band called Churn when he was a teenager. An X account also started dropping Foo Fighters references in the lead up to the festival. Now, an X account for Patchwork has also cropped up, so keep your eyes peeled for any hints in the coming weeks. But for now, fans have their own ideas about who Patchwork could be… Some fans think Harry Styles could be Patchwork, because, er, he wore a colourful patchwork cardigan once that everyone became obsessed with. The As It Was hitmaker, 31, sparked a TikTok trend of fans recreating his colourful jumper, which he wore in February 2020 while rehearsing. Tenuous, but possible… Just like the Foo Fighters teased they were behind The Churn Ups mystery in June 2023 on their socials, Candida Doyle from Pulp mysteriously talked about her love of patchwork in a recent interview with Jo Whiley, which seems kinda' random. 'I used to do patchwork when I was on tour and I made a really nice bit of patchwork, that's all I can think of right now,' she said… While it seems Pulp are rumoured most years for a Glastonbury surprise set, this year does seem feasible, as the Common People hitmakers have returned with their eighth studio album, More, scheduled to be released on June 6. Before Patchwork was mentioned, US sisters Haim were rumoured to be heading for a secret set at Glastonbury this year, after BBC Radio star Lauren Laverne hinted as much in her BBC Radio show. With their fourth album I Quit dropping in June after Women in Music Pt. II was released five years ago, it seems like a good time for Haim to descend on Worthy Farm. The band has a long history with the festival, having first played in 2013, before slots in 2014, 2017 and 2022. 'They've got summer shows coming up, one is Dreamland Summer Series in Margate on June 27,' Lauren noted on BBC6 Music, before adding: 'What else is happening that weekend? It's a long way to come to go to Margate, not that Margate isn't great…' Now the Patchwork clue is out, fans have pointed to a book of the same name by a writer called Sylvia Haim. However, it seems a little bit of a stretch as they might not be enough of a big deal to warrant the Patchwork tease. But that doesn't mean they won't fill one of the other secret set slots, simply billed at the moment as TBA. Just as with Haim, actor Timothee Chalamet was rumoured to be performing a secret set of Bob Dylan songs before the Patchwork tease. After he wowed critics with his performance as music icon Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown, it was reported he is 'likely' to make a surprise appearance. However, this was not thought to be a Pyramid Stage outing, but one for the Acoustic Stage on the Saturday night. The Sun claimed he will appear alongside Dylan tribute band Not Completely Unknown. While that all seems likely, now Patchwork is teased, fans can't help but think of the Blowin' In The Wind hitmaker's famous patchwork jacket, which featured on the cover of his 1976 album, Desire. To add fuel to rumours, the Dune actor bought this very same patchwork jacket in March for over £20,000… While Oasis have said they will not be performing at Glastonbury this year, it would be a very Oasis thing to turn up for a surprise set anyway, wouldn't it? More Trending 'Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year,' the brothers said in October. After Noel and Liam Gallagher's years-long feud ended in a massive Oasis tour announcement last year, it's clear stranger things have happened. Where does Patchwork come into this, you may ask…? Well, they patched things up, didn't they? Yeah, okay. Perhaps wishful thinking has got the better of us. Got a story?
