Kate Hudson and son Ryder ‘leaned on' brother Oliver Hudson during Chris Robinson divorce
Kate Hudson and her son Ryder Robinson 'leaned on' her brother Oliver Hudson during her divorce from Chris Robinson. The 46-year-old actress - who has Ryder, 21, with her ex-husband - split from Chris in 2007 following seven years of marriage, and Kate has now revealed Oliver, 48, offered his support to the pair amid her divorce 'without [her] even having to ask'. Speaking on their Sibling Revelry with Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson podcast, the Almost Famous star said she felt like she could 'often' rely on her brother, and that 'the biggest time was in divorce'. She explained: 'For me, with you in my divorce with having Ryder and being a working mom, I felt like you really stepped up without me asking. 'It's just that you just stepped up as Uncle Ollie and was really there for us and Ryder. I think that period of time, you really stepped up for me without me even having to ask for it. 'In reflection, you were so stable for Ryder and myself.' Kate - who also has Bingham 'Bing' Hawn, 14, with her ex-fiance Matt Bellamy and Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, six, with her now-fiance Danny Fujikawa - added that she and Oliver had 'created fun times with the kids'. For the Rules of Engagement actor, Oliver noted there are 'micro leanings' that constantly occur between himself and his sister. He said: 'There's little things that happen. It's not these big catastrophic events where it's like, 'Here, put your head on my shoulder.' It's the little things.' Kate has been engaged to musician Danny, 39, since 2021, though the Running Point actress recently admitted she may never marry him as she likes to have her 'freedom'. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, she said: 'I think it's been two or three [years]. My fantasy is to get engaged and to stay engaged. 'I just don't have the same kind of like, 'Oh my God, I'm going to get married … and I can't wait for the party!' It's the opposite. 'I'm like, 'OK, I have to plan it, and then it's going to cost so much money,' and it's just a lot. 'I like the idea of being engaged forever. You have the ring, the promise, the ultimate commitment. The contractual thing is tough for me. I like my freedom … I like the concept of freedom.'

How Logan Lerman used papayas and 'Sex and the City' to woo his fiancée
The "Oh, Hi!" star became engaged to artist Ana Corrigan in late 2023. Logan Lerman isn't one to play games: If he's into you, he'll make it clear. In an interview with Bustle published on Friday, the 33-year-old actor revealed the 'totally weird' lengths he went to 'lure' his fiancée, ceramist Ana Corrigan, into spending more time with him early into their relationship. 'When my fiancée and I were early on dating, I used to lure her to hang out with me by getting these really special papayas. I'd order them and take photos and send them to her and be like, 'Look at these papayas! You want to hang out tonight? I mean, I have really good fruit,'' he told Bustle. But Lerman didn't stop at 'special papayas' to maintain Corrigan's interest. 'I'd be like, 'God, how can I message her?' This is psycho, but I'd record the opening to Sex and the City as if I was watching it, even though I wasn't,' he said. 'I'd be like, 'Hey, I'm watching Sex and the City…' and try to hang out that way. There's some really crazy shit that I've done, but we all do crazy shit when we're in love.' Lerman's Bustle interview isn't the first time he's publicly spoken about his and Corrigan's relationship. The Perks of Being a Wallflower actor, who cites not liking movies, music and concerts as red flags, revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2024 that he and Corrigan met on a dating app. It wasn't long before Lerman knew he wanted something serious with her. 'Honestly, right away. I knew right away. I swear, I really did,' Lerman told Barrymore. Lerman's luring tactics seem to have left a lasting impression on the 30-year-old artist: He and Corrigan became engaged in late 2023. 'We ended up in Central Park. My fiancée pointed out the rowboats, and I was like, 'Oh, let's do it.' And that's when I learned I don't know how to row a boat at all. I was terrible at it,' Lerman said of the proposal during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024. Corrigan ended up rowing the boat, while Lerman regretfully sat back. 'Finally, she rowed us to a quiet part of the lake there, and I popped the question. It was great. It went really well,' Lerman added. 'She said yes. Thankfully.' Lerman's starring role in the upcoming dark comedy Oh, Hi! marks a departure from his real-life, hopeless romantic self. In theaters July 25, the film stars Molly Gordon as Iris and Lerman as Isaac, who embark on their first romantic getaway together. But their blissful weekend turns sour when Isaac reveals that he isn't actually looking for something serious. Iris then handcuffs Isaac to the bed before desperately trying to show him all the ways they're actually compatible as a couple. 'I had a lot of empathy for those people that I dated in the past and have hope for them to get to a place where they can be happy in a relationship,' Lerman told Bustle. 'I had the same thing with Isaac. I was like, 'I really hope that he can get to a place where he can be happy with someone.'' Solve the daily Crossword

Drew Barrymore removes make-up to reveal what she really looks like at 50
Drew Barrymore took the Instagram on Tuesday to share a makeup-free selfie. The longtime talk show host — who turned 50 in February — smiled with her tousled brunette locks falling around her face. She was clad in a faded gray graphic T-shirt, with frames of floral art hanging on a wall in the background. '50 = The B-Side of life — where the real magic starts to spin!' she wrote in a caption to her 18.3 million followers. Reflecting on her age back in January, Drew told AARP: 'You just realize you're going to live X amount of years, if you're lucky, and I would like to live the second half of my life, like, the B-side of a record, not the same way as the A-side.' In April Barrymore shared her tip for aging gracefully in a question-and-answer segment of her eponymous TV program, The Drew Barrymore Show. 'Can you let us know your secret to aging gracefully and being so comfortable in your own skin?' a woman asked. In terms of cosmetic surgery, she answered, 'I haven't done anything and I want to try and stay that way. 'But I also am like, do whatever works for you. The only thing I do know is don't judge other people because they do things differently.' 'We're all on our own path and we have to support each other,' the Whip It director said, admitting she has her struggles. 'I see a lot of turkey neck or I have a lot of other times where I'm like "Oh Wow, we're there now,"' the host noted. As for self-confidence, Barrymore shared, 'I want to tell myself not to be so mean to myself.' 'How many beautiful moments do we even get the privilege of seeing our reflection and that person looking back at us is us?' she posited. She elaborated, 'So the kinder, more patient, more resilient, more loving, embracing, less dismissive that we can be, the better it is for our mental game and spiritual game, which affects the face.' Last week Barrymore also went bare-faced as she shared a trio of photos with longtime friend and former Charlie's Angels co-star Cameron Diaz, 52. Along with the cheerful cheek-to-cheek snapshots, she wrote, 'A Poo Poo Appreciation Post! @camerondiaz ❤️.' The 50 First Dates siren shares daughters Olive, 12, and Frankie, 11, with ex-husband Will Kopelman. The exes divorced in 2016, four years after they tied the knot. Drew was previously married to Tom Green (2001-2002) and Jeremy Thomas (1994-1995). In a January episode of her talk show, she said while discussing the topic of dating, 'If there's one thing that the wisdom of my life is giving to me now at 50-years-old, it's to be a little... a lot kinder to ourselves. You deserve nothing less than goodness.'

Arnold Schwarzenegger Majorly Gushed About Patrick's Ex, Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger dated nearly a decade ago, but his dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger, still finds something beautiful in their short-lived connection. Arnold gushed about the Grammy winner during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, where he referred to her as 'a wonderful, wonderful girl and human being.' When asked what the best part of Patrick dating the multihyphenate was, The Terminator actor said, 'The best was that she's a wonderful, wonderful girl and human being. Very, very talented. She came up to Sun Valley when we were skiing up there, and she was just such a wonderful houseguest and everything like that.' 'We just all loved her,' Arnold said during the June 23 episode, adding, 'She was just a really good, good person and fun to hang out with.' 'I'm sorry it didn't work out,' he continued before referencing his son's longtime love and fiancée, Abby Champion. 'But Patrick, in the meantime, found another girl that he got engaged with and he's getting married to in September.' The White Lotus star dated Miley from 2014 to 2015, when he was a business and theater student at the University of Southern California. It marked Miley's first public romance since her first split with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth in 2013. After Patrick and Miley called it off, he met Abby in 2015 and proposed to her in December 2023 after eight years together. During an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, Patrick revealed that he and Abby's wedding had to be postponed because of his White Lotus filming schedule. 'Finally, a year and a half ago, we got engaged. And it was our moment, it was this great thing,' he told Drew. 'And a few days later, I booked White Lotus, and I was like, 'Abby, I know we're in this high of engagement, and we're gonna get married this year. But we're going to have to push it. I got White Lotus, and I'm going to film for the next seven months in Thailand.'' As for Abby's reaction? She was a supportive partner who cheered Patrick on as he landed the breakout role. 'She was so happy. She was ecstatic because she was a huge fan,' he added.
