Matthew Tkachuk Hilariously Reacts To Brad Marchand's Big Goal

The Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers by a 5-2 final score in Game 5. This was a massive win for the Panthers, as they now have a 3-2 series lead and are just one win away from lifting the Stanley Cup for the second year in a row. Panthers star Brad Marchand was certainly a huge reason why Florida won Game 5. He put together an excellent performance, scoring two beautiful goals during the contest. Advertisement Marchand's second goal, however, was incredible. After receiving a pass from Eetu Luostarinen, Marchand made an amazing move by Oilers defenseman Jake Walman before beating Calvin Pickard five-hole. In response to Marchand's awesome second goal, Panthers teammate Matthew Tkachuk was shocked and hilariously shouted "oh my god" six times. Tkachuk's reaction to Marchand's goal is understandable, as it was a great one from No. 63. It was also an incredibly important one, as it gave the Panthers a 3-0 lead in third period and ended up being the game-winner. Marchand, Tkachuk, and the Panthers will now look to stay hot and defeat the Oilers in Game 6 from here. Ticket prices for Stanley Cup Final start high, keep going up

The 2026 Stanley Cup Final is just a few short days away from beginning. It features a rematch of last year's Final, a seven-game epic between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers. Back then, it was the Panthers who came out on top. Advertisement Do the Cats have what it takes to pull off the rare back-to-back win, or will Edmonton's hunger and drive be enough to push them over the top this time? The drama and intrigue surrounding the sequel series has hockey fans amped up and excited to see how the matchup between two powerhouse teams plays out. Evidence of that excitement can be seen in the ticket prices for the Final games so far. Looking on the secondary market at Stubhub, THN Florida checked the lowest prices for each of the seven games. Interestingly, the tickets get more expensive the deeper we get into the series. Either way, even if you want to go to an early game, it's going to cost a pretty penny. Advertisement For the games in South Florida, here is how the prices are looking as of Saturday morning: Game 3: $593 Game 4: $596 Game 6: $957 As for the games up in Edmonton, here's how those prices look: Game 1: $532 Game 2: $695 Game 5: $1,013 Game 7: $1,394 Are you planning to head to any of the Stanley Cup Final games over the next couple weeks? The Hockey Show: Are the Panthers about to repeat? Dimitri Filipovic discuss conference finals, exits by Toronto, Winnipeg

We're down to the NHL's final four and for the third straight season, the Florida Panthers are still alive! This week on The Hockey Show, hosts Roy Bellamy and David Dwork welcomed Dimitri Filipovic of the PDOcast to get into the latest happenings in and around the NHL. That mostly included talk about the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and can you blame them? They touched on a couple of the recently eliminated teams, like the Toronto Maple Leafs – who had a 2-0 series lead and a 3-1 lead in Game 3 before getting knocked out in seven by Florida – and the Winnipeg Jets – the Presidents' Trophy winners who struggled mightily on the road and didn't get the same goaltending from Connor Hellebuyck during the playoffs that they did during the regular season. The boys (and Rose) also got into the two conference finals, with the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers out west and the Panthers facing the Carolina Hurricanes in the east. Dallas pulled off an impressive comeback on the Oilers to take Game 1 of their rematch series while Florida continued some incredibly strong road play by taking Games 1 and 2 in Carolina by a combined score of 10-2. Wins and fails of the week included a masterclass in being interviewed on live TV by Florida's A.J. Greer, a Panthers fan walking around Downtown Toronto in a fresh new Florida Brad Marchand jersey before Game 7 and a horrible attempt at a sign trolling Marchand by a fan in Raleigh. The Hockey Show: Steve Levy talks Stanley Cup Playoffs, Barry Melrose, This Is SportsCenter commercials

We're getting into the meat of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and The Hockey Show is elbow deep. This week, hosts Roy Bellamy and David Dwork welcomed one of their favorite hockey broadcasters that both grew up watching. NHL on ESPN host and play-by-play voice Steve Levy was kind enough to join the show and discuss the latest happenings in the playoffs, including the red-hot Edmonton Oilers and tightening series between the Carolina Hurricanes and Washington Capitals. Steve also spoke about longtime friend and colleague Barry Melrose, and the boys all discussed their favorite This Is SportsCenter commercials. As for this week's wins and fails of the week, we had polite chirping by Canadian fans, a historic run by Edmonton and a collective fail for one an embellishment call that had everyone scratching their heads. Roy and Dave then get into the latest on the Florida Panthers, who trailed the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-0 in their best-of-seven second-round series.
