President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that his administration signed a trade deal with China on Wednesday. The president also announced that his administration was preparing for a potential trade deal with India. According to The Post Millennial, Trump's announcement was revealed during an event on Thursday highlighting his proposed 'One Big Beautiful Bill,' which is currently being considered in the Senate. The Post Millennial reported that the president said officials in his administration have been 'working overtime making deals with other countries' following the implementation of major tariffs earlier this year. 'We just signed with China yesterday, right? Just signed with China,' Trump said. 'We're not going to make deals with everybody. Some, we're just going to send them a letter, say thank you very much, you're gonna pay 25, 35, 45 percent.' 'But we're having some great deals. We have one coming up maybe with India,' Trump added. 'We're going to open up India. In the China deal, we're starting to open up China. Things that never really could have happened. And the relationship with every country has been very good.' Video: Trump warns Russia-Ukraine war is ‘totally out of control': Report
A new report claims that President Donald Trump warned NATO leaders during a private meeting at this week's summit in the Netherlands that the war between Russia and Ukraine is 'totally out of control' and urged that 'something had to be done.' According to Bloomberg, a source with knowledge of Trump's comments during the closed-door meeting with NATO leaders claimed that Trump described the war in Ukraine as 'totally out of control.' Bloomberg reported that while the president did not elaborate on his comments, Trump's statements about something needing to be done in Ukraine were perceived as a positive sign for Ukraine. As part of this week's NATO summit in the Netherlands, alliance members agreed to Trump's demands that NATO nations increase target defense spending from 2 percent to 5 percent of gross domestic product by 2035. In a joint declaration on Wednesday, NATO members stated, 'United in the face of profound security threats and challenges, in particular the long-term threat posed by Russia to Euro-Atlantic security and the persistent threat of terrorism, Allies commit to invest 5% of GDP annually on core defence requirements as well as defence-and security-related spending by 2035 to ensure our individual and collective obligations.' READ MORE: Ukraine 'ready for a full and unconditional ceasefire,' Zelensky says According to The Post Millennial, Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday following NATO's announcement of plans to increase alliance member defense spending. The outlet noted that at a press conference after his meeting with Zelensky, Trump indicated that he is considering the possibility of sending additional Patriot missiles to Ukraine as Russia continues to attack the country. The Post Millennial reported that Trump suggested during Wednesday's press conference that Zelensky wants the war between Russia and Ukraine to end. The president also noted that he is planning to speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding an end to the war. 'Look, Vladimir Putin really has to end that war,' Trump told reporters. 'People are dying at levels that people haven't seen before for a long time.' Asked why he has not been able to bring an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine in 24 hours as he claimed during the 2024 presidential election campaign, Trump said, 'It's more difficult than people would have any idea.' 'Vladimir Putin has been more difficult,' Trump added. 'Frankly, I had some problems with Zelensky, you might have read about them. It's been more difficult than other wars.' Reporter: "Why have you not been able to end the Ukraine war?" Trump: "Because it's more difficult than people would have any idea." — The Post Millennial (@TPostMillennial) June 25, 2025

Trump admin sues Washington over 'anti-Catholic' law
President Donald Trump's Justice Department announced on Monday that it was taking legal action and filing a lawsuit against a new law in Washington State, claiming that it violates the First Amendment by forcing Catholic priests to break the 'confidentiality seal of Confession' by reporting certain confessions to government officials. In a Monday press release, the Justice Department confirmed that it had filed legal action against Washington state over a new state law, known as Senate Bill 5375. The Justice Department claimed that the state's new law 'violates the free exercise of religion for all Catholics, and requires Catholic priests to violate the confidentiality seal of Confession.' According to The Post Millennial, Washington's Senate Bill 5375, which was signed into law by Gov. Bob Ferguson (D-Wash.), requires Catholic priests to report confessions to government authorities if the confessions involve cases of suspected child neglect or abuse. READ MORE: FBI's targeting of Catholics, pro-lifers exposed by House GOP The Justice Department argued on Monday that Senate Bill 5375 forces Catholic priests to 'violate their vows to uphold the confidentiality seal that accompanies the sacred rite of Confession, subjecting them to immediate excommunication from the Catholic Church.' In Monday's press release, the Justice Department said its lawsuit shows that the Democrat-run state's new law violates the First Amendment's Free Exercise of Religion Clause and the Fourteenth Amendment's Equal Protection Clause by targeting Catholic priests and members of Catholic churches while establishing a double standard of confidentiality for religious and secular institutions. Harmeet K. Dhillon, assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, said, 'Laws that explicitly target religious practices such as the Sacrament of Confession in the Catholic Church have no place in our society.' 'Senate Bill 5375 unconstitutionally forces Catholic priests in Washington to choose between their obligations to the Catholic Church and their penitents or face criminal consequences, while treating the priest-penitent privilege differently than other well-settled privileges,' Dhillon added. 'The Justice Department will not sit idly by when States mount attacks on the free exercise of religion.'

Judge orders release of illegal immigrant accused of human trafficking
A federal judge ruled on Sunday against President Donald Trump's administration's request to have Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant charged with human trafficking in connection with the MS-13 gang, remain in detention throughout his criminal trial. The judge ordered that the illegal immigrant be released pending the result of his criminal trial. The Department of Justice previously announced that Garcia was charged with 'alien smuggling and conspiracy to commit alien smuggling' over human trafficking operations he allegedly conducted in 2015 and 2016 as a members of the MS-13 gang. According to The Post Millennial, Garcia was previously scheduled for deportation in 2019, was deported by the Trump administration earlier this year, and was recently brought back to the United States for a criminal trial in Tennessee. In Sunday's ruling, U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes stated, 'Overall, the Court cannot find from the evidence presented that Abrego's release clearly and convincingly poses an irremediable danger to other persons or to the community.' Holmes claimed in Sunday's ruling that the Trump administration's Justice Department did not prove that there was a 'serious risk' that the illegal immigrant would try to 'flee' if he was released, that there was a ''serious risk' that Abrego will obstruct justice or otherwise interfere with the integrity' of the court proceedings, and that there was a minor victim involved in the case against Garcia. READ MORE: Pic: Illegal immigrant drags ICE agent 50 yards with car to avoid arrest According to The Post Millennial, while Holmes scheduled a hearing for Wednesday to determine the conditions of the illegal immigrant's release, the Trump administration is already appealing the judge's release order. In Sunday's ruling, Holmes explained that her order to release Garcia was 'little more than an academic exercise' since U.S. Immigrants and Customs Enforcement had already threatened to detain the illegal immigrant if he was released from custody. Holmes wrote, 'The sole circumstance about which the government and Abrego [Garcia] may agree in this case is the likelihood that Abrego [Garcia] will remain in custody regardless of the outcome of the issues raised in the government's motion for detention.' In a Sunday post on X, formerly Twitter, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin issued a statement pledging to prevent the illegal immigrant from being released in the United States. 'Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a dangerous criminal illegal alien,' McLaughlin tweeted. 'We have said it for months and it remains true to this day: he will never go free on American soil.'
