‘Devil Wears Prada 2' Cast: Full List

The Devil Wears Prada 2 has a star-studded cast. The original film's actors-including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci-will appear alongside newcomers like Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux and B.J. Novak, Variety reported. Newsweek reached out to 20th Century Studios via email for comment on Wednesday. The Devil Wears Pradawas released in 2006 and earned more than $326 million at the box office worldwide, per Box Office Mojo. The movie is based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel of the same name and follows the story of Andrea "Andy" Sachs (Anne Hathaway), an aspiring journalist. Sachs is hired as an assistant to high-fashion magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Streep), but she struggles to keep up with the demands of the job. The confirmed actors set to star in The Devil Wears Prada 2 cast so far are: Meryl Streep (Miranda Priestly)Anne Hathaway (Andrea "Andy" Sachs)Emily Blunt (Emily Charlton)Stanley Tucci (Nigel)Tibor Feldman (Irv Ravitz)Tracie Thoms (Lily)Lucy LiuJustin TherouxB.J. NovakPauline ChalametHelen J. ShenConrad RicamoraCaleb Hearon The Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel, producer Karen Rosenfelt and screenplay writer Aline Brosh McKenna will also be returning. The sequel was first announced in July 2024, and 20th Century Studios' official Instagram account revealed on June 30, 2025 that The Devil Wears Prada 2 is "now in production." Following The Devil Wears Prada 2's confirmation last year, Streep took to her Instagram, writing: "Miranda will return." Hathaway will be reprising her role as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries 3, and she spoke about the film, as well as The Devil Wears Prada sequel, in an interview with Women's Wear Daily in December: "I was so beautifully cared for on both of those films. I was a baby, like a legal child, when I made Princess Diaries-I turned 18 while we were making it, and I was a very, very young woman when I made Devil Wears Prada. I was so guided and looked after and cared for by the communities that made both of those films in particular, each of their directors, Garry Marshall and David Frankel. I'm so excited that now I can do that for other people, that now I have the knowledge and the experience and the confidence to take care of other people on sets in which I'm looked at as a leader." Blunt previously said she was torn on a Devil Wears Prada sequel during a 2018 appearance on The Jess Cagle Interview: "If everyone did it, I would be up for it. I don't know if there's going to be a second film. I almost hope it doesn't [happen] because I think sometimes when you sequel everything, [it] kind of dilutes how special the original is." The Devil Wears Prada 2 is slated to hit theaters on May 1, 2026. Looks like the royal diary has still got some pages left to fill. Disney's 'The Princess Diaries 3' is full steam ahead, The Post has learned. Her grandmother, the elegant queen dowager, was played by Julie Andrews. In the second film, Mia went on the hunt for a husband. Hathaway, 42, announced on Instagram last year that she'd return for the third entry in the franchise, which will be directed by Adele Lim, the co-writer of 'Crazy Rich Asians.' Back in 2023, she told Forbes she's 'pretty much retired' from acting. Chris Pine, who played Mia's love interest Nicholas in the second flick, has said he has no clue if he'll be involved or not. 'The first time I heard about it was on the internet when someone sent me a screenshot,' he admitted last year on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.' 4 The palace used in 'Royal Engagement' was Longford Castle in England. The family movie's release date is still unknown, but miracles will happen again soon.
