Beckhams dealt new blow in 'feud' with Brooklyn as celeb pal picks side with telling comment
The Beckham feud has taken a new turn as the family's closest and very famous pal appears to have publicly sided with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz in a huge blow to David and Victoria. Sir Elton John appears to have chosen a clear side in the fiery feud between Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz and the rest of the Beckham clan. The 78-year-old, who is the godfather of David and Victoria's eldest son, paid tribute to the Peltz Beckhams as they recently celebrated the five year anniversary of their engagement in their latest social media post. Aspiring chef Brooklyn, 26, took to Instagram to gush over his wife, 30, as he shared an old mirror selfie of them together where he can be seen affectionately kissing a posing Nicola on the cheek. His caption read: "It's been 5 years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me xx best decision ever x I love you so much." Brooklyn's loved up post racked in hundreds of thousands of well wishes from fans but it was one prominent comment from Sir Elton that caught everyone's eye. The Rocketman star tagged both Brooklyn and Nicola as he left a sweet comment: "Happy Anniversary to the sweetest, most loving couple," alongside a few red heart emojis. His telling comment has now raised eyebrows about the state of his current relationship with Brooklyn's parents, David and Victoria, who he is known to be very close with, considering he is both Brooklyn and Romeo's godfather. Elton and Victoria's relationship in particular spans back over three decades after he famously made a cameo in the 1997 Spice World film. The fashion designer even once revealed she had been inspired to leave Spice Girls by Elton in a moving letter as she wrote to her future self, admitting that watching him sing and dance made her realise it wasn't for her. Victoria wrote: "Remember years ago, watching your dear friend Elton John on stage in Las Vegas? He performed 'Tiny Dancer', as if it were the first time, and you realised this was like oxygen for him. "It was a life-changing moment — while singing and dancing was fun for you, it wasn't your passion. That day, you started your quest to uncover your own dreams. It was time to step away from being a Spice Girl." Elton and the Beckhams are so close they have even holidayed together many times with David and Victoria's four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, even referring to the iconic singer as Uncle Elton. However, the once very tight knit family are now falling apart as Brooklyn and Nicola are now at the centre of an ongoing feud with the rest of the Beckham clan. Their feud was first noted when the aspiring chef snubbed all of his father's 50th birthday celebrations last month but things have since escalated even further when Brooklyn decided to make a permanent move to LA after recently purchasing a home there with Nicola. The 26-year-old also failed to publicly acknowledge his father's knighthood, an honour he has been yearning for for many years, as well as snubbing him online on Father's Day. However, he did manage to wish Nicola Peltz's father, Nelson, a Happy Birthday on his Instagram Stories yesterday in a huge blow to David. Brooklyn also appears to have fallen out with his siblings after it was speculated that the reason he had fallen out with his family was due to his brother Romeo's relationship with his now ex, Kim Turnbull. Kim had a brief romantic history with Brooklyn and the Peltz Beckhams were said to not be happy the DJ was being invited to family events such as David's 50th, which fuelled speculation that her presence had been the reason for the couple's absence. Cruz was quick to retort with: "Wrong, brother, mate." Cruz is known to post cryptic posts on social media. It comes after a source close to the couple told the Mirror that actress Nicola is feeling "attacked" by "false claims" that are being made against her.

The Beach Boys co-founder passed away on Wednesday (11.06.25) at the age of 82 and Tiny Dancer hitmaker Elton praised his friend as the "biggest influence" on his work. Sharing a photo of them together, Elton wrote on Instagram: 'Brian Wilson was always so kind to me from the day I met him. Carole King remembered Brian as her "friend and brother in songwriting". She wrote on Facebook: 'Brian Wilson was my friend and my brother in songwriting. We shared a similar sensibility, as evidenced by his 4 over 5 chord under 'Aaaah!' in 'Good Vibrations' and mine under 'I'm Into Something Good.' We once discussed who used it first, and in the end we decided it didn't matter. The world will miss Brian, but we are so lucky to have his music." Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood touched on Brian's influence throughout the world of music. Elton John: Labour are ‘absolute losers'
From Runcorn to Durham, Labour is losing their core vote everywhere. Now, even the luvvies are turning on them. It was less than a year ago that Elton John headlined a celebrity rally, held in the final week of the general election campaign. 'Let's get behind Labour to win on July 4!' the singer declared. But, nine months on, it seems that the Tiny Dancer star has now changed his tune… Appearing on the BBC's flagship politics show this morning, John launched a savage attack at ministers over its plans to regulate AI. Describing the government as 'absolute losers', he said he felt 'incredibly betrayed' over plans to exempt technology firms from copyright laws. He told Laura Kuenssberg that if Peter Kyle, the Science Secretary, goes ahead with plans to allow AI firms to use artists' content without paying then he would be enabling 'theft, thievery on a high scale.' It comes after ministers this week rejected an amendment to the Data Bill to force companies to notify copyright holders if their work is used to train generative AI models.
