2025 Renault Triber facelift launched: Key highlights you must know

Renault India has launched the facelifted version of the Triber MPV, with prices starting at ₹6.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to ₹9.17 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted iteration of the MPV comes with a plethora of cosmetic changes and packs a wide range of fresh features. The Renault Triber sits in a segment that has been witnessing rising demand over the last few years. While the demand and sales in the utility vehicle segment are led by SUVs and crossovers, MPVs are not very far behind. Renault Triber facelift: Variants and pricing The Renault Triber facelift is available in four variant choices - Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. While all the variants come equipped with a manual gearbox, the top-end variant gets an AMT unit. The MPV is priced between ₹6.30 lakh and ₹9.17 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Renault Triber comes with a standard warranty valid for three years or one lakh kilometres, which can be extended to seven years or unlimited kilometres. Renault Triber facelift: Revamped design The Renault Triber facelift comes with a refreshed design. It sports redesigned headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, a new gloss black front grille, smoked LED taillights with a black strip at the tailgate's centre. However, the overall silhouette of the MPV, especially from the side profile, looks similar to the pre-facelift model. Another interesting change is the addition of the automaker's new 2D diamond-shaped brand logo. The new Triber comes with three new colour choices, which are Amber Terracota, Shadow Grey, and Zanskar Blue. Renault Triber facelift: Refreshed interior The interior of the Renault Triber facelift comes equally revamped as the exterior. The most prominent change inside the cabin is the dashboard, which gets an updated 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. There are additional features like an updated fully digital 7.0-inch instrument cluster, automatic climate control, ambient lighting and a traffic sign recognition camera. Renault Triber facelift: More features On the feature front, the Renault Triber facelift comes loaded with six airbags as standard fitment. Other features include automatic headlamps, cruise control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and a 360-degree surround view camera over the outgoing model. Renault Triber facelift: No change in powertrain Under the hood, the Renault Triber facelift retains the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual gearbox and a five-speed AMT unit as well. The AMT unit is available in he top-spec trim only. The engine is capable of churning out 71 bhp peak power and 96 Nm of maximum torque, which are the same as the pre-facelift model's powertrain. Toyota Kirloskar Motor has hiked the prices of its Rumion MPV by ₹13,000 on all variants. The new prices are now applicable nationwide. The across-the-board increase is applicable to all fuel and transmission types, such as the petrol-manual, petrol-automatic, and CNG-manual variants. There has been no modification made by Toyota in the design, features, or performance of the Rumion despite the price revision. Based on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Toyota Rumion is a seven-seater and is powered by a 1.5-litre K series petrol engine. It is offered in both petrol and petrol plus CNG option. In the petrol-manual segment, the S MT model is now tagged at ₹10.67 lakh, the G MT at ₹11.83 lakh, and the V MT at ₹12.56 lakh. For those opting for the automatic transmission, the S AT is now ₹12.17 lakh, the G AT stands at ₹13.23 lakh, and the top-spec V AT costs ₹13.96 lakh. The CNG-powered S MT variant now carries a price tag of ₹11.62 lakh. All these prices are ex-showroom, pan-India, and reflect a uniform increment of ₹13,000 over their previous figures. Toyota Kirloskar Motor has changed the prices of its most affordable MPV in the Indian market. This comes in the form of an upward revision in the prices of Rumion. The hike has been implemented on all variants of MPV, and it now comes at a starting price of Rs 10.66 lakh (ex-showroom). This translates to a uniform hike of Rs 12,500 on the MPV. Meanwhile, the most expensive variant now comes at Rs 13.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The Toyota Rumion is a rebranded version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and is part of a range of models that the two manufacturers share, such as the Baleno-Glanza, Fronx-Taisor, and Hyryder-Vitara, among others. While Maruti Suzuki offers numerous variants of the Ertiga, Toyota provides three variants of the Rumion - S, G, and V. It boasts an updated front grille with a mesh design, which replaces the original projector headlights flanking it. Both the front and rear bumpers have been reworked, and the vehicle also includes newly designed alloy wheels. Additionally, the Rumion is offered in India as a seven-seater model. Inside, the Toyota Rumion showcases a dual-tone black and beige dashboard adorned with faux wood accents. It comes equipped with a range of comfort-oriented features such as cruise control, automatic climate control, and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Toyota Rumion is fueled by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that delivers 102 hp and 138 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a five-speed manual or an automatic torque converter transmission that drives the front wheels. Additionally, there is a CNG variant that produces 87 hp and 121 Nm of torque, available with a manual transmission. This family-friendly MPV offers a fuel efficiency of 20.5km/l, which is comparable to its Maruti Suzuki equivalent. On the other hand, the CNG version, equipped with a factory-installed kit, achieves an impressive mileage of 26.11km/kg.

Renault Triber Facelift: New Styling The Triber facelift brings a heavily revised front profile. There's a new grille with diagonal slats finished in black and the new Renault logo in the centre, making this the first offering to get the new diamond logo in India. The bumper has been revised with bigger air intakes, while the headlamp cluster has been revised with new LED DRLs. The rear profile sports new black appliqué in the centre, while the taillights have been tweaked. The bumper gets new silver accents, along with other changes. The model also gets new wheels as part of the changes. Renault Triber Facelift: Revised Interior The cabin gets subtle changes including the new digital console and infotainment system.
