Eric Dane, who famously bathed with 2 women, now appears tangled up with 3
US actor Eric Dane and filmmaker Janell Shirtcliff attend Prime Video's 'Countdown' premiere at the Harmony Gold theatre in Los Angeles on June 18, 2025. Photo: AFP Eric Dane and filmmaker Janell Shirtcliff looked to be in full couple mode Wednesday (June 18) at the premiere of Prime Video's Countdown , a new series he stars in with Jensen Ackles. Hands were held; smiles and admiring glances were exchanged. He was definitely not with Rebecca Gayheart, whom he married in October 2004 and just said – on national news, no less – is the person he reaches out to daily for 'stalwart' support. Nope, even though Gayheart in early March requested the dismissal, without prejudice, of the 2018 divorce petition she had filed against Dane. Dane revealed in April that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, aka ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. Earlier last week, he revealed that he had lost function in his right arm due to the neuromuscular disease and felt his left arm failing. So who's dating whom? Dane's relationship status is a bit fuzzy. The Grey's Anatomy alum, 52, has been 'in an on-and-off relationship' with Shirtcliff for more than three years, Entertainment Tonight reported Wednesday. The two 'care deeply for each other,' the outlet said, citing a source who added, 'Eric asked Janell to be there for him during this time, and she wanted to show up for him.' Shirtcliff, who is a photographer and director, is in preproduction on the film Generation Angst and postproduction on the horror flick Triton , according to IMDb. But – Dane's alleged girlfriend, actor Priya Jain, 27, was 'blindsided' by his appearance at the event with Shirtcliff, 41, a source told Page Six on Thursday. Jain and Dane met last summer and became 'exclusive' in November 2024, the source said. 'They never broke up.' The two have been photographed arm-in-arm in public and have matching tattoos, and she has spent 'almost every night' at his house since they coupled up, Page Six said. They reportedly were together last weekend. This three-way confusion is a tiny bit reminiscent of Dane and Gayheart's nude 2009 bathtub video with actor Kari Ann Peniche, which Dane discussed in 2019 with Glamour. In the leaked video, the three could be seen bathing together naked – not having sex – and discussing their potential porn names about 15 years into the Gayheart-Dane marriage. 'I don't necessarily think I was breaking any laws and corrupting anybody. We were just three people taking a bath,' he told the magazine. He added, referring at the time to the entirety of his past – including the bathtub video and his addiction to prescribed painkillers – 'I have no regrets nor do I make any apologies for my life experience. It's my life experience and I am at peace with all of it.' As for Gayheart, she and Dane remain estranged as husband and wife even though she called off the divorce and they are in frequent contact as co-parents of their two daughters. 'I call Rebecca. I talk to her every day,' Dane said on a recent episode of Good Morning America , fighting back tears as he talked about battling ALS. 'We have managed to become better friends and better parents. And she is probably my biggest champion, my most stalwart supporter, and I lean on her.' – Los Angeles Times/Tribune News Service

Down to Business: Naperville biz owner says he followed God's advice and became a locksmith
Business: The Lock Pros Address: 424 Fort Hill Drive, Naperville Phone/website: 630-428-3068; Owner: Mark Hankes, 60, of Naperville Years in business: 20 What does your business do? 'Commercial and residential locksmith services,' Hankes said Why are you a locksmith? 'It sounds funny, but God told me to. … I was 22. … I was going to be a printer like my dad. I saw an ad at Triton College (that said) 'Learn locksmithing.' I prayed and prayed. I heard a voice say 'locksmithing.' I'm not kidding. Some people think I'm making it up, but that's really what happened.' And then what? 'I took the class at Triton. The teacher hired me. I worked for him about two years. I went to a bigger locksmith company. Stayed there 11 years. I did some sales stuff in the industry a couple years. Someone else hired me on for a factory warranty service company for four years. … Then, I started Lock Pros full time.' What have you learned? 'Never put a limit on what you think you can do because you can do a lot more than you think you can.' What does this job appeal to you? 'Originally, it was the security aspect because my father owned an apartment building. … I had to rekey the locks.' Is it easy to pick a lock? 'I may pick half the ones I try. It's not like you see on TV. You've got to be turning it, then you move the pick in and out to move the pins up and down.' Are you still learning? 'Oh, yeah. There are constantly new products coming out, especially the electronic stuff. … When you see a card reader, you walk up to the door with a card. You hear it click. The door opens. The part that clicks is the electronic lock. … Most of my locksmithing, 95 percent of it is commercial work. Schools. Hospitals.' What should people know? 'Any public building requires ADA and fire codes on their doors, their hardware, which is locks. They get inspected once a year or so. … In a theater, those doors have to have a certain type of lock on them. Obviously, you can't have a lock with a key. It's a push bar. … Building owners who try to save money, they won't have the right hardware to get out. 'Illinois requires locksmiths to be licensed and insured. Their license number should be on all advertising. I can show you plenty of locksmiths who don't have a license. … Some give you a low price over the phone, '$59 to come out to open your door.' Then they say, 'Oh, you didn't tell me you had this kind of lock. It's going to be $300.' What are you going to do, call somebody else?' Any favorite stories? 'An elderly woman called. She's locked out. I get to her house. She's in tears. She said 'I can't believe I did this. I put a cake in the oven. It's going to be all burned up.' So, I get the door open. She runs in. Like a second before she gets to the oven, the timer goes 'ding' and the cake was done.' What does commercial work entail? 'It's mostly repairing doors and hardware so buildings are secure and upgrading doors and hardware so they meet code. … Another big thing is any big building has a KnoxBox on the outside. Looks like a little safe. Only the fire department has a key to it. In there is supposed to be a master key for every door in the building. I get a lot of calls for putting in a KnoxBox.' How many employees do you have? 'Two part-timers.' What do you charge per visit? 'Residential is $98, commercial is $115.' Extra cost depends on what's needed? 'Yes. … The No. 1 problem I see with locks is door alignment. … People shove the door to lock it, putting pressure on the lock.' What do you like about your work? 'The people. You get to know your repeat customers.' Anything you don't like? 'The misconception of being able to open locks. If it was that easy, we'd all have problems.' What sets you apart? 'I sell locks you're not going to pick. I don't care how good you are. (I sell) Medeco (locks). … A residential $10 lock from a big box store? You're going to pick that real quick.' Is Naperville good for business? 'Yes, all the commercial and industrial properties.' What's your advice for someone starting a business? 'Know who your customers are going to be. Who are you marketing to?'

Eric Dane Juggles Relationships With 3 Women Amid ALS Battle: All About Ex-Wife, GF and Mystery Woman
Euphoria star Eric Dane made headlines this week after showing up at the Countdown premiere with filmmaker Janell Shirtcliff. The two were seen holding hands and exchanging smiles at the event, sparking questions about Dane's current relationship status. The outing came just months after Dane shared emotional comments about his estranged wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart. To complicate things further, a third woman, Priya Jain, who has reportedly been dating Dane since 2024, was said to be blindsided by the public appearance with Shirtcliff. Eric Dane has reportedly been in an on-and-off relationship with director and photographer Janell Shirtcliff for over three years. According to Entertainment Tonight, the two care deeply for each other. A source told the outlet, 'Eric asked Janell to be there for him during this time, and she wanted to show up for him.' Shirtcliff is currently working on two films, Generation Angst (in pre-production) and Triton (in post-production), according to her IMDb profile. Her support seems to have taken on new meaning since Dane revealed in April that he had been diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Is Priya Jain still in the picture? But Shirtcliff isn't the only woman linked to Dane. Priya Jain, a 27-year-old actress, reportedly started dating Dane in summer 2024, and they became exclusive in November. A Page Six source claimed, 'They never broke up.' Jain and Dane were seen together as recently as last weekend, and she has reportedly spent almost every night at his house. The pair even have matching tattoos. According to the source, Jain was 'blindsided' by Dane's public appearance with Shirtcliff. Dane also maintains a strong bond with his estranged wife, Rebecca Gayheart, whom he married in 2004. She filed for divorce in 2018 but requested a dismissal of the petition in March 2025, without prejudice, meaning she can refile later. Despite their complicated past, including a widely publicized 2009 leaked bathtub video, Dane spoke warmly about Gayheart during his recent Good Morning America appearance. 'I call Rebecca. I talk to her every day,' he said, while fighting back tears. 'She is probably my biggest champion, my most stalwart supporter, and I lean on her.' While Dane and Gayheart continue to co-parent their daughters and stay emotionally close, his relationship with Shirtcliff seems to be rekindled, at least publicly. Meanwhile, Jain's camp insists there was no breakup and that their relationship was still ongoing, making Dane's love life anything but clear. For now, it seems Dane is leaning on those closest to him as he faces his ALS diagnosis. Whether he is officially dating Shirtcliff or Jain remains uncertain, but both women, along with Gayheart, appear to be part of his life in different ways.
