Triumph Speed 400 gets a new colour scheme in UK. Will it come to India?

Triumph has not made any mechanical changes to the Speed 400. Check Offers Triumph Motorcycles has added a new, sophisticated colour scheme to its entry-level roadster, the Speed 400, in the UK market. The latest paint option—Pearl Metallic White with Phantom Black—introduces a refined aesthetic to the already popular motorcycle, appealing to both new-age riders and enthusiasts with a taste for timeless design. As of now, it is not clear whether Triumph will release the new paint job in the Indian market or not. This newly introduced colour combination features a crisp white fuel tank contrasted by blacked-out components, complemented by a delicate golden pinstripe that runs along the tank edges. This subtle detailing not only elevates the bike's visual appeal but also reflects Triumph's rich legacy of blending modern performance with classic styling cues. The overall design continues to feature retro elements such as a round headlamp, tear-drop tank, and brushed metal finishes. Although this new colour option is currently limited to the UK, it is highly anticipated that Triumph will bring this scheme to India in the near future. Given the strong demand for the Speed 400 in the Indian market and the importance of style in purchasing decisions, this elegant colourway is expected to be well received. The gold strip along with the golden USD forks provide a premium look to the Speed 400. Triumph Speed 400: Engine and Performance Beneath its stylish exterior, the Speed 400 retains the same capable mechanical setup. It is powered by a 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of peak torque. Paired with a six-speed gearbox, this engine is engineered to offer smooth, responsive performance across the rev range. Triumph has tuned the motor for linear power delivery, making it a perfect machine for both city rides and weekend highway trips. TVS Apache RTR 310 long term review

Test Started September 2024/5,405kmCurrent ODO reading: 6,143kmMileage this month: 738km Efficiency this month: 26kmpl You've got Rs 3 lakh in the bank, you've got an appetite for riding sharp motorcycles that look edgy and in your face. You're preferred style of choice is street naked, and oranges aren't exactly your favourite fruit. What are your options? The BMW G 310 R isn't with us anymore, and the Triumph Speed 400 design can be viewed as bland to most radicals out there. This could be a case of narrowing it down, but my point with this is that the Apache RTR 310 is the only real rival to the KTM 390 Duke, and that is no small feat. I actually prefer the Apache over the KTM simply because it's a brand that I've trusted for a long time, and colour options on the 390 Duke aren't exactly extensive. But, before being carried away further with my personal choices, it's time to bid farewell to the Apache RTR 310. Trellis frame finished in white, along with that 312cc motor, are the Apache's strongest points. It's a motorcycle that I've come to adore over its tenure. At first, I wasn't too sure about its design language or its credentials on paper. As I began to spend time with this feisty yellow with a busy bee of a motor, it surprised me with its ride quality and extensive feature list. It also impressed me with its ample power on tap and handling. It strikes a balance that Iquite enjoyed, and even my father, who is 65 years old, didn't find it too overbearing. The Apache's tenure was an education, not only the understanding of the motorcycle, but of TVS' commitment to makingengaging motorcycles as a whole. Headlamp design is eye-catching.
