You've got Rs 3 lakh in the bank, you've got an appetite for riding sharp motorcycles that look edgy and in your face. You're preferred style of choice is street naked, and oranges aren't exactly your favourite fruit. What are your options? The BMW G 310 R isn't with us anymore, and the Triumph Speed 400 design can be viewed as bland to most radicals out there. This could be a case of narrowing it down, but my point with this is that the Apache RTR 310 is the only real rival to the KTM 390 Duke, and that is no small feat. I actually prefer the Apache over the KTM simply because it's a brand that I've trusted for a long time, and colour options on the 390 Duke aren't exactly extensive. But, before being carried away further with my personal choices, it's time to bid farewell to the Apache RTR 310. Trellis frame finished in white, along with that 312cc motor, are the Apache's strongest points.
It's a motorcycle that I've come to adore over its tenure. At first, I wasn't too sure about its design language or its credentials on paper. As I began to spend time with this feisty yellow with a busy bee of a motor, it surprised me with its ride quality and extensive feature list. It also impressed me with its ample power on tap and handling. It strikes a balance that Iquite enjoyed, and even my father, who is 65 years old, didn't find it too overbearing. The Apache's tenure was an education, not only the understanding of the motorcycle, but of TVS' commitment to makingengaging motorcycles as a whole. Headlamp design is eye-catching.

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority ( GMDA ) awarded the Rs 49.4 crore project to an agency last week, and mobilisation of manpower and machinery has already started, an official said on project, which aims to provide smoother and safer travel for commuters in the new sectors, has a completion deadline of March 2026. Approved in January 2023, it involves upgrading and strengthening an existing six-lane master road that passes through sectors 84-88, 85-89, 86-90 and features of the upgrade include construction of a cycle track, surface drain, greenbelt, footpaths, streetlights, and road safety furniture.'This corridor is critical for reducing congestion and the upgrade will be instrumental in improving traffic flow,' said Arun Dhankar , chief engineer at GMDA. 'Development of this key stretch will greatly enhance the connectivity between Dwarka Expressway and IMT Manesar.'The stretch begins at the Central Peripheral Road (CPR) interchange of Dwarka Expressway and extends to Kankrola village, linking directly to IMT Manesar. It also provides access to NH-48, Sohna Highway and the Southern Peripheral to GMDA, this stretch sees around 28,000 passenger car units daily. With the opening of Dwarka Expressway, traffic on this road has increased significantly. Service roads will be constructed on both sides of the main carriageway to help reduce congestion.'The road will pass through sectors 84-91 and will provide improved access to commuters and residents traversing these sectors,' Dhankar built by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran in 2010–2011, the road has deteriorated over time. Commuters often complain about potholes, rough surfaces, and difficult driving conditions, especially during rains.'It's a much-needed upgrade that we have been demanding for a long time,' said Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Sector 86. 'The road has been in bad shape for years and it's really difficult to drive, especially during rains. The addition of service roads and drainage will make a difference,' he added, 'I only hope GMDA will not take forever to complete the project just like the Rampura-Pataudi redevelopment.'The road also passes several residential societies, commercial spaces, shopping complexes and schools. Gurugram University , located in Kankrola village in Sector 87 along this road, was inaugurated last year, further increasing the importance of the route.
