Trump launches new smell of success perfumes

You would think that trying to bring about world peace would be enough to keep U.S President Donald Trump busy and with little or no time on his hands. Well, think again, as the Commander-in-chief has launched another business venture in the form of a range of fragrances which he claims are 'all about winning'. The billionaire businessman's most recent money-making scheme, which of course bears the president's moniker is 'Trump Fragrances,' a range of perfumes and colognes that cost in and around €220.00 a pop. US president Donald Trump has launched a new range of fragrances. Pic: Trump Fragrances The fragrances, called 'Victory 45-47- a nod to his two terms in the White House, are, according to Trump 'all about Winning, Strength, and Success.' The newest merchandise from Trump Inc, joins a lengthy list of 'The Donald' branded products that includes the $69.99 'God Bless the USA' Bible and €299 'Trump Landslide' boots and of course his iconic fire-hydrant red MAGA baseball caps. Fight' fragrance collection, cashing in on the attempt on his life before the most recent U.S Presidential elections. And Trump, who has claimed he doesn't take a salary for his role as U.S President, is certainly making a small fortune with his extra curricular commercial activities. According to a financial disclosure report released in June, Trump made €2.2million from Trump sneakers and fragrances last year alone. The fragrances are called Victory 45-47, a nod to his two terms in the White House. Pic: Trump Fragrances But what does the sweet scent of success actually smell like? According to fragrance expert Elena Knezevic, Victory 45-47 smells like success in a bottle describing the men's version as a fougère—a term for a blend of oakmoss and wood—with touches of geranium and cardamom. A fougère, while classic, is something of an antiquated style of scent—in line with Trump's aggressive agenda. As for Victory 45-47 for Women, a description on the fragrance's website says it's 'designed to capture confidence, beauty, and unstoppable determination, offering a sophisticated and subtly feminine scent.'

Donald Trump Reenters Fragrance Market With Two New Perfumes

Donald Trump is reentering the fragrance market with two new signature scents named 'Victory 45-47.' The U.S. president unveiled the fragrances in a Truth Social post on Monday night, writing, 'Trump Fragrances are here.' Priced at $249, each fragrance comes in a Trump-shaped statue. The eau de parfum for women, dubbed Victory 47, is packaged inside a rose gold figurine and is said to capture 'confidence, beauty and unstoppable determination' with an ultra-feminine aroma. The cologne, also listed as just Victory 47 on the website, comes inside a gold statue and is said to be designed for 'men who lead with strength, confidence and purpose.' 'They're all about winning, strength and success,' he wrote on Truth Social. Elsewhere on two additional fragrances, which first launched in December 2024, are available for purchase: Fight! Fight! Fight! Trump for Men and Fight! Fight! Fight! Trump for Women. Each bottle is emblazoned with the tag line and a picture of Trump pumping his fist in the air. Trump's recent venture into fragrances isn't the first time he's bottled up his persona and offered it on the market. In 2004, the former reality star struck a deal with the Aramis and Designer Fragrances division of Estée Lauder Cos. to release a scent called Donald Trump The Fragrance into major department stores, including Macy's and Bloomingdale's. At the time of its launch, Lauder and Trump predicted the scent would garner more tham $100 million in sales. 'Donald Trump has developed into a lifestyle brand — from his real estate and his hotel empires to his best-selling books and apparel,' Fabrice Weber, president of Aramis and Designer Fragrances, told WWD in 2004. 'The fragrance is clearly a piece of that universe. We want to be number one wherever we are with this scent.' Before signing with Lauder, Trump had reportedly been approached by several businesses that were interested in cutting a fragrance deal with him. Yet, the real estate tycoon ultimately landed on a partnership with Lauder due in major part to his longtime friendship with the company's then-executive chairman, William Lauder, and his father and founder, Leonard Lauder, who recently died at the age of 92. 'William has been a good friend for a long time, as has Leonard. I was never energized to do a fragrance until William called,' Trump said back in 2004. Trump's new fragrance launch comes as fragrance sales have seemingly softened amid the current geopolitical scene and ongoing economic uncertainty characterized by rocky stock market projections and major tariffs. Trump Perfumes And Colognes Reactions

To no one's surprise, Donald Trump has released yet another product for his fanbase to buy. This time, it's perfume and cologne. In a recent post on Truth Social, the president announced Trump Fragrances, including Victory 45-47. Forget about possible ethics violations — this is "all about Winning, Strength, and Success." Naturally, I headed over to the website, where I saw the Fight Fight Fight perfume/cologne for $199 and the Victory 45-47 perfume/cologne for $249. What a steal! When I clicked on the Victory 45-47 perfume to find more information about the scent — floral, fruity, woodsy, etc. — I couldn't find anything beyond "captures confidence, beauty, and unstoppable determination." Even if customers don't know what the hell they're buying, they can rest assured that it's a "sophisticated, subtly feminine scent." But wait! There's more! If that wasn't enough to convince you, he filmed a short infomercial that looks like it belongs on late-night '90s TV. Obviously, people had a lot to say about all this: And finally: What do you think about all this? LMK in the comments below!

What's that smell? Trump unveils new fragrances with his name as the brand

WASHINGTON, July 1 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump is adding fragrances to the growing list of merchandise that bear his name, raising fresh questions about his use of the presidential bully pulpit to hawk products that enrich him and his family. The former New York real estate tycoon, who moved back into the White House in January for his second term, announced this week that a new Trump-branded cologne for men and perfume for women were available for purchase. "Trump Fragrances are here. They're called 'Victory 45-47' because they're all about Winning, Strength and Success," he wrote on his Truth Social account on Monday. Trump, a Republican, served as the 45th U.S. president from 2017-2021 and became the country's 47th president with his 2024 win. The fragrances come in a black box with gold lettering for men and a red box with gold lettering for women. The fragrance containers look like mini statues of Trump. Reaction was swift online, with critics accusing the president of corruption. "There's never been, and I don't think in American history, someone who's stealing so much in plain sight - grifting and graft," U.S. Senator Mark Warner of Virginia said in a video shared on X. Senator Peter Welch, a Democrat from Vermont, noted Trump was advertising the fragrances while Republicans sought to reduce Medicare benefits for low-income Americans in his budget bill. "Senate Democrats are fighting to prevent President Trump from kicking 17 million people off their health care and he's promoting his line of fragrances," Welch said on X. The White House declined to comment about the criticism. The scents are the most recent products that the Trump family has unveiled. In June his family business licensed its name to launch a U.S. Mobile service and a $499 smartphone. The phone was promoted as sleek and gold, Trump's preferred color. The president has said he put his business interests in a trust managed by his children to avoid conflicts of interest, but income from such business ventures will eventually enrich the president, who sits atop the series of Trump family firms. Trump receives income from licensing deals, crypto projects, golf clubs and other ventures. He has also hawked gold sneakers and a "God bless the USA Bible."

Smell of Victory: Donald Trump launches new fragrance that celebrates 'winning'

US President Donald Trump has announced the launch of his new fragrances that are 'all about winning'. The US President announced the latest instalment in a long line of Trump wares on his social media platform Truth Social. 'Trump Fragrances are here. They're called 'Victory 45-47' because they're all about Winning, Strength, and Success — For men and women,' wrote Trump. 'Get yourself a bottle, and don't forget to get one for your loved ones too. 'Enjoy, have fun, and keep winning!' The 45-47 represent Donald Trump's terms as US President. Trump announced the launch of the new fragrances on his social media platform, Truth Social / Credit: Truth Social / @realDonaldTrump The bottles are said to be limited edition and numbered collectables, featuring the 47th President in the form of a golden statue. The precise scent of the perfumes is not immediately obvious from the descriptions on the website. The male cologne is said to have 'rich, masculine notes', while the women's perfume has a 'sophisticated, subtly feminine scent'. Each bottle is listed as $249 (£181). The president himself is not personally involved in the fragrance creation. A disclaimer on the website reads: 'Trump Fragrances are not designed, manufactured, distributed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals. '45Footwear, LLC uses the Trump name, image and likeness under a license agreement which may be terminated or revoked according to its terms.' Trump has previously released two other fragrances: 'Fight! Fight! Fight!' and 'Victory' colognes were both released in 2024 under the Trump brand. Trump is often seen with his most identifiable piece of merchandise, the red MAGA hat. He has also released several other wares, including guitars, trainers, and the controversial 'God Bless the USA' bible. Donald Trump's 'God Bless the USA' bible / Credit: AP A mandatory financial disclosure report filed in June highlighted how much Donald Trump made from some of his merchandise ventures last year. Trump took in $3 million in revenue from selling 'Save America' coffee table books, $2.8 million from Trump watches, and $2.5 million from Trump-branded sneakers and fragrances. Additionally, he made $57 million last year from World Liberty Financial, a crypto company he and his sons helped launch in September. The president will even turn his lowest moments into a merchandising opportunity. His election campaign claimed they raised $7.1 million from his 2023 police mugshot, after his scowling face was emblazoned on T-shirts, mugs and even baby grows. The timing of the president's latest business venture comes as his 'big, beautiful' spending bill makes it through the Senate. The Senate bill included big funding cuts to Medicaid and food stamps, by imposing additional work requirements to make eligibility more stringent. The bill would infuse $350 million more into border and national security spending, including for deportations. The bill also includes $4.5 trillion in tax cuts, and the Congressional Budget Office projects that it will add around $3.3 trillion in federal deficits over the coming decade.
