Here's all you need to know: Is Love Island on TV on a Saturday night? Love Island host Maya Jama | ITV ITV2's iconic reality show has returned to take over our summer once again. It is only a few weeks old and already full of drama - with twists and turns aplenty. After all that you might be wondering if it is time for a little time away from the villa. ITV2 has confirmed that a new episode will not be airing tonight (June 28) and instead will mark the return of Unseen Bits. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Featuring plenty of unseen moments and exclusive content from the first week in Mallorca. The episode will start at 9pm and finish at 10.05pm. If you are busy on Saturday nights, Unseen Bits will be available on demand via ITVX afterwards. When is the next episode of Love Island on TV? Maya Jama and co will be back with a brand new episode from the villa tomorrow (Sunday June 29). The show will then be airing all new episodes each night to Friday (July 4) - all on ITV2. Love Island will start at 9pm on Sunday night - and throughout the rest of the week. The 12th series is due to last for around eight weeks with 58 episodes in total, based on past years. Love Island faces 'lowest ratings yet' in series first as US version soars
Love Island UK fans aren't tuning into the ITV2 programme as much as they used to while the US version is getting more and more popular Love Island's latest series only started earlier this month with a viewership of one million on the first day, but the ITV2 programme failed to keep fans interested as the numbers dwindled over the weeks. Four years ago, the series launch brought in 2.5 million viewers while the 2022 series had 2.4 million viewers. By the next year, the first episode dropped to 1.3 million and last year's premiere had 1.7 million viewers. With this year's series, less and less people tuned into the dating competition. Excluding Unseen Bits, the first week of the new series averaged 855,000 viewers, much lower than 2024's numbers. The opening week averaged 144,000 for 16-24s. Many have been complaining about the series in recent years, with some complaining about it being "boring". Former Love Island winner Amber Rose Gill even hit out at the current state of UK reality TV, claiming it's become too 'soft' and over-policed by viewers who get offended over everything. In a fiery social media rant, the 2019 champ said the reason reality telly is 'dead' is because people can't say anything without backlash - calling out recent outrage over a Love Island contestant saying another girl was 'too glamorous for a 9-5'. Amber fumed: 'I've just seen articles about a girl saying someone's too glamorous for a 9-5 and everyone's like, 'You can't say that!' I need everyone to get several grips.' She continued: 'No wonder they come f**ing media trained, because God forbid you say anything out of line. I remember some of the s*** I said and trust me, I say worse in private!' Meanwhile, a lot of Love Island fans have turned to the US version of the show. The American version even had Megan Thee Stallion as a guest for one of their challenges. It was recently reported that series seven of the US show was the second most-watched streaming show on US television. From June 6 until June 12, the programme racked up 1.2 billion minutes viewed across nine available episodes. Casa Amor is about to arrive with Big Brother star Zak Srakaew entering the Fiji villa in a first for the programme. He burst onto the scene two years ago but didn't last long after becoming the second housemate to get the boot. He moved to Manchester from Thailand when he was a child and is in the States and after finding fame on the show two years ago, he is now hunting for love. There has already been plenty of drama so far and the UK audience are keen to know what's happening across the pond. But they will have to wait to see Zak in action - Love Island USA is not currently available to watch in the UK, but it may air on ITVX and ITV2 in the future, with previous seasons of the reality show available.

The 34-year-old Australian actress shot to stardom after appearing in The Wolf of Wall Street alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and has since gone on to star in huge movies, including Suicide Squad, Babylon and the iconic Barbie movie, which was released in 2023. While Harry is still looking for his perfect match in the villa, A-lister Margot Robbie tied the knot with her husband Tom Ackerley 8 years ago after initially meeting in 2013 on the set of Suite Française, where Ackerley was working as an assistant director. They began dating shortly after and married in a private ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia, in December 2016. Margot is a reported 'superfan' of Love Island and has met many of the islanders over the years. She was previously snapped with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Danica Taylor at the Barbie Premiere in London, where islander Chris Taylor even appeared in the movie. Speaking about meeting Margot, Chris told Cosmopolitan: "She's just really down to earth and cool. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met." Meanwhile, in the Love Island villa, Harry has found himself in hot water as he has been seemingly jumping between three of the girls. Harry showed a keen interest in Shakira before establishing a connection with Helena and then moving on to an interest in Yasmin. Harry's actions led to it kicking off in recent episodes when he snuck off to the hideaway and kissed Yasmin three times without being honest with Helena. His actions were then revealed in an explosive game around the fire pit, which left Helena in shock. Voices became quickly raised as Megan shouted across the fire pit to Harry: 'You owe it to Helena to be f****** honest, you p****. She's sat there watching you go into the Hideaway, you kissed her three times and then come out and go 'Oh no, I didn't do anything.'' Furious Meg added: 'Grow a pair of b******* mate, honestly, grow the f*** up.' Only time will tell if Harry will find a strong connection in the villa.
