CM Punk Reveals When He Knew He ‘Made It' In WWE
One of the top stars in WWE is the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk. He has been a part of the professional wrestling business for almost three decades. Recently, the Second City Saint revealed the moment when he knew that he had made it in WWE. CM Punk was a guest on the Unsportsmanlike podcast. During the interview, the Best in the World revealed the moment he knew that he had made it in WWE. He named one of the makeup women in WWE, Jane, who yelled at him back in 2005 when he came into WWE for a dark match. But six years later, when Punk was one of the hottest products in WWE, Jane came up to him and asked why he never came up and spoke to her. That was the moment when he knew that he made it in WWE. 'There used to be one makeup lady (in WWE). Her name was Jane. Not the nicest lady in the world. This is how I knew I made it. My first time, I was under contract in Ohio Valley Wrestling, and I was brought up to do a dark match. I found the spray bottle that was in the makeup case and I was wetting my hair, I hear, down the hallway, all these expletives, like a sailor was yelling at me. I turn around and it was Jane. ''What do you think you're doing? That is for talent. Put it down.' I was like, 'Okay.' Quietly tiptoe away. That was 2005. In 2011, CM Punk became the hottest superstar in the business and Jane walks up to me one day and goes, 'How come you never come see me? You know I can cut your hair, right?' I was like, 'I made it. I'm a top guy now,'' CM Punk said. [H/T post CM Punk Reveals When He Knew He 'Made It' In WWE appeared first on Wrestlezone.

New details emerge over T.J. Watt trade package if Steelers reach ‘point of no return'
The T.J. Watt contract saga is getting worse and worse for the Steelers. Pittsburgh's contract negotiations with Watt are reportedly going nowhere, and the star linebacker's trade value appears to be brutally low. In an appearance on 93.7 The Fan on Friday, Steelers reporter Mark Kaboly said Watt would 'probably' command a second-round pick in a trade, which the Steelers might consider if negotiations reach a 'point of no return.' T.J. Watt with the Steelers in September 2021. AP 'They are obviously inquiring to see what that [return] might be,' Kaboly said. 'If it gets to the point where it's point of no return, maybe that second round pick becomes very handsome.' Kaboly added that by reaching out about Watt's value, the Steelers are doing 'due diligence.' During an episode of ESPN's 'Unsportsmanlike' on Tuesday, NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported the Steelers and Watt are 'far apart' in contract talks. 'There have been other teams that have mulled the idea that maybe they would approach the Pittsburgh Steelers about a trade,' Schefter said. 'Now, the Steelers have zero intention of trading him — but something has to give. 'You can't have it both ways. You can't say, 'We want to keep this guy that badly' and then be far apart in the contract.' T.J. Watt is a seven-time Pro-Bowler. Getty Images Watt, 30, is a seven-time Pro-Bowler and one of the premier defensive players in the NFL. Over his eight-year NFL career, Watt has made 108 sacks and forced 33 fumbles, including 11.5 sacks and a league-high six forced fumbles last year. Watt, who would become an unrestricted free agent in 2026, is reportedly using Myles Garrett's historic four-year contract extension, which pays $40 million per year, as a benchmark for his new deal. That high asking price, plus Watt's age, lowers his value in trade talks. 'If you're shopping [Watt], just to see what the return might be, you're probably not gonna get as much as you think you're gonna get,' Kaboly added. 'If you could get a 2nd rounder you'd probably be lucky, I think.'

Adam Schefter provides troubling update on Steelers, T.J Watt contract talks
The Steelers' T.J. Watt contract dilemma doesn't look like it'll be resolved any time soon — as insider Adam Schefter has provided a troubling update on the situation. On the July 8 edition of ESPN's Unsportsmanlike, Schefter revealed that Watt and the Steelers are still far apart in contract talks — as outside trade interest continues to rise: 'They're far apart right now, and there have been other teams that have mulled the idea that maybe they would approach the Pittsburgh Steelers about a trade,' Schefter said. 'Now, the Steelers have zero intention of trading him — but something has to give. You can't have it both ways. You can't say, 'We want to keep this guy that badly' and then be far apart in the contract." Schefter previously reported that interest in trading for Watt was expected to grow after the Steelers' recent acquisitions of two high-priced players — All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey and Pro Bowl TE Jonnu Smith. Watt and the Steelers have been down this road before, as the infamous 2021 hold-in saw their star defender sit out of practices until he received a new contract — just days before the regular season began. Here's to hoping the Steelers figure out a way to re-sign Watt soon, instead of fans waiting on the edge of their seats for another last-minute deal. ESPN radio host dissects Dolphins' pressure entering 2025 season
The 2025 NFL season could very well be make-or-break for a number of key figures in the Miami Dolphins' organization. Certainly, it feels as though that's the case for head coach Mike McDaniel. McDaniel guided the Dolphins to playoff appearances in each of his first two seasons at the helm, but Miami couldn't advance beyond the Wild Card round in either of those postseason trips. Then, the Dolphins slumped back to an 8-9 finish a season ago and missed the playoffs entirely. After an offseason marked by trade uncertainties surrounding two of the franchise's biggest stars in cornerback Jalen Ramsey and in tight end Jonnu Smith, the heat is cranking up on Dolphins general manager Chris Grier as well. ESPN radio host Chris Canty dissected just how much pressure is on the Dolphins heading into this 2025 campaign on his morning show, "Unsportsmanlike." "They have to have some shown improvement. It's time. They've been there long enough to establish their program. They've invested in Tua. They gave him the contract. They committed to him even though he only had one full season healthy. No playoff wins to show for it. "It's time for Mike McDaniel to show that this way of playing football can have success when it matters most in the NFL. This philosophy of pace and space, similar to what we talk about with NBA teams, playing basketball on grass, you have to show that that ends up leading to being able to have success once you get into the playoffs, being able to consistently get to the postseason. And so, I am skeptical of whether or not they're going to be able to do that. Again, I struggle to have faith in the Miami Dolphins because of what I've seen. You have to look at the context, you have to look at the history around it. You have an oft-injured quarterback in a style of play that doesn't necessarily lend itself to being able to have success," Canty said. Canty's critiques of the Dolphins are criticisms that plenty of Miami fans share. While it's difficult to evaluate the Dolphins minus quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for large stretches of last season, the organization's decision makers will bear the brunt of the backlash for the franchise's shortcomings if Tagovailoa once again proves injury-prone in 2025.

Steelers Trade for Jalen Ramsey Being Discussed, Reports ESPN's Adam Schefter
Steelers Trade for Jalen Ramsey Being Discussed, Reports ESPN's Adam Schefter originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The trade might not morph into becoming a reality. But the hints have done so. The Pittsburgh Steelers have this offseason moved aggressively in pursuit of some big names available through trade or free agency. Advertisement They started with a trade for wide receiver DK Metcalf earlier in the spring. Just a few weeks ago the Steelers ended the worst kept secret in football after officially signing quarterback Aaron Rodgers for one more go at it before retirement. How about one more blockbuster? During a recent appearance on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh, Steelers insider Mark Kaboly contemplated the idea of the team once again acting on a resolution, this time in trading for Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey. "I bet you they're listening. I mean, the salary is not bad, it's a one-year deal really right? I think he has no guarantees past this year... Now people say where do you want to put him? I don't care." Advertisement Pittsburgh's defensive backfield includes Darius Slay and Joey Porter Jr. So sure, Ramsey would help. And the Steelers might recognize that, given new info. During an appearance on ESPN Radio's "Unsportsmanlike,'' Adam Schefter revealed that the Steelers have indeed called the Dolphins to express their interest doing a deal. "I think Pittsburgh checked in. I'm not so sure Pittsburgh's gonna be the destination. In fact, if I had to guess, I would say Pittsburgh would not be the likely destination," he said. "I think when you're trying to figure out a home for Jalen Ramsey ... It would have to work financially for both sides." Advertisement Schefter masters the obvious on that last point. But the Steelers placed a call on Ramsey? That's a start. That's news. Related: Aaron Rodgers Sends Steelers Sneaky T.J.
