2026 Kawasaki Versys 650 Updated With New Colours
Kawasaki has launched the latest iteration of the Versys 650, but there's a catch! The bike has not been introduced for the Indian but international market. This version of the bike comes with aesthetic changes in the form of new colour options. Similarly, there are slight changes in the powertrain to make it Euro5+ compliant. With its familiar twin-headlamp design, the Kawasaki Versys 650 now gets paint scheme options like deep blue, grey, and black variants. Meanwhile, the version of the middle-weight motorcycle in the country still comes with Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Grey colour with green highlights on certain parts including the alloy wheels. Also Read: 2025 Yezdi Roadster To Launch In India On August 12 Meanwhile, the bike is still based on a tubular diamond frame, housing a 649 cc parallel-twin engine which kicks out 66 hp of power at 8,500 rpm and 61 Nm of peak torque while revving at 7,000 rpm. This power is routed to the wheel using a six-speed transmission. The braking system continues to use dual semi-floating 300 mm discs, secured by dual-piston calipers at the front, while a single 250 mm disc with a single-piston caliper is located at the rear. These brakes are fitted onto 17-inch wheels, resulting in a seat height of 845 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. The suspension setup uses a 41 mm inverted telescopic fork at the front, offering adjustable rebound damping and preload settings. At the rear, there is a single-shock system that allows for remote spring preload adjustments. The 2026 Kawasaki Versys 650 continues to have the list of features that were available on the previous model year, including the KTRC traction control system, and full LED lighting. Additionally, it is equipped with a full-color 4.3-inch TFT display that supports smartphone connectivity, opening doors to multiple other features.
