Oasis Reunion at Heaton Park in Manchester: start time, tickets, potential setlist and what you need to know

Oasis' 2025 summer reunion tour is, for many Brits, the year's most hotly anticipated event – and it's already underway. The Gallagher brothers got back together last Friday and Saturday for their first reunion shows in Cardiff and delivered two spectacular shows that were worth every bit of the hype, with top-notch performances and setlists packed with hits not heard for decades. Over 900,000 tickets have been sold for the brothers' UK shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh, where they'll play some of the country's grandest, most legendary arenas. Nowhere, however, is the Oasis hype quite like it is in Manchester. The Gallaghers' shows at Heaton Park aren't just more tour stops: these are homecoming dates at a venue that has a special place in the band's history. Oasis played three nights at Heaton Park back in 2009 and this time they've upped the ante, lining up five dates. It's no exaggeration to say that Oasis' 2025 Heaton Park shows are expected to be full-blown cultural events. If you're lucky enough to have nabbed a ticket, here's everything you need to know about the shows – from timings and transport to any remaining ticket availability. When are Oasis playing Manchester's Heaton Park? Oasis are at Heaton on five nights, all in July 2025. Friday July 11 Saturday July 12 Wednesday July 16 Saturday July 19 Sunday July 20 What time do doors open? Oasis' Manchester gigs will open at 3pm – which is earlier than doors in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff (which open at 5pm). The music curfew is at 10.30pm. What time will Oasis come on stage? Buses x35, 59, 90, 135, 149, 156, 164 and 484 also serve the park. It's worth bearing in mind that it is notoriously tricky to get away from Heaton Park, post-gig. The walk to the city centre is long (up to two hours, depending on the crowds), and buses, trams and taxis will be very crowded. Find out more ways of getting to – and from – Heaton here. Weather forecast The Gallagher brothers' reunion gigs in Manchester are taking place over nine days, so naturally there'll be wide variation in the weather. The opening weekend, however, is looking excellent. For the first two gigs (July 11-12), here's the forecast: Friday July 11 – the weather this Friday is looking fantastic. With highs of 27C and lows of 22C, the Met Office doesn't reckon Oasis' first Manchester show will get any rain. Saturday July 12 – Saturday is forecasted to be even balmier than Friday, with the Met Office predicting that temperatures will range from 24C to 27C. There also won't be much wind or rain. Where to buy official Oasis merchandise The band has a pop-up with official merch at The Avenue, Spinningfields, which is open daily from 10am to 7.30pm. The store will remain open until July 27. There are other Oasis merch options from the likes of Adidas, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, Levi's, Urban Outfitters and H&M, which you can find out more about here. There's also an online shop for Oasis merch here.

Shakira had album pulled to add Hips Don't Lie

Shakira's 'Hips Don't Lie' almost never made it onto her album. The 48-year-old singer had completed work on her 2005 record 'Oral Fixation, Vol. 2' but she then got into the studio with Wylcef Jean and knew instantly they had a hit on their hands, so she called her record company boss and begged him to pull the LP so the extra track could be added. Speaking on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she said: "I remember my album was already distributed, and then this idea came up, and Wyclef and I met and we started working on this track. 'I started working with Wyclef, and I knew I had a hit, so I called Donny Lenner, who was in charge at the time of [Epic Records], and I said, 'Donny, you have to pick up the albums from the stores,' and he's like, 'No way, these albums are already out there. "I'm like, 'You've got to believe me. You've got to trust me. You do that, we have a hit.' And he said, 'OK, so I'll listen to you. I'll listen to you on this one,' and he did it and we kind of had to repackage the albums, and it changed my story." The collaboration with Wyclef came right after Shakira had spookily had a dream about him. She said: "You know, the funniest thing is that I had a dream, the most random dream about Wyclef. It wasn't a sexual dream! It was just a dream. And then I woke up and my manager called me and said, 'Wyclef wants to work with you.' " Meanwhile, Shakira is proud to have sold out 11 shows in Mexico City and have the number one tour in the world for the second month in a row and she thinks its a special experience for fans. She said: 'It's incredible. I've been working on this tour for a year, preparing every single detail, from the visuals to the music. I've put together my biggest set list. I'm singing some of my classic songs, from 'Hips Don't Lie' to 'Whenever, Whatever' to the most recent ones. 'And it's a pretty huge production. It's a huge effort to tour with this production around Latin America. It's probably the biggest production that's ever traveled Latin America. It weighs like 93 tons. The screen is huge and it's 145 people traveling… "So when you show up and you see so many people dancing and singing and crying and getting emotional. It's a party, but people really, really connect with this music. It's been like the soundtrack of their lives, for many of my fans.'

Oasis Charts A New No. 1 Hit Ahead Of The Band's Reunion Tour

Oasis sends 'Some Might Say' to No. 1 on multiple U.K. charts for the first time after re-releasing ... More the tune on vinyl to celebrate its thirtieth anniversary. (Photo by) Oasis enjoyed one of the longest reigns ever as one of the most commercially successful bands in the United Kingdom. In the decades since the band broke up, the group's music has continued to stream and sell incredibly well. For a long time, there was no hope of a reunion, and brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher traded vicious barbs in the press. But countless prayers were answered in 2024, when the rock outfit announced a comeback. New music isn't expected, but Oasis is heading out on tour this summer ahead of what will surely be one of the highest-grossing and most exciting concert treks of the year. Shortly before beginning the trek, the band re-released one of its biggest hits, and it has now become a smash all over again. Oasis celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of "Some Might Say" by releasing the track on vinyl. Superfans of the group purchased copies of the pearl wax record in large enough numbers to make it a chart-topper on multiple lists in the U.K. "Some Might Say" appears on four charts in the U.K. this frame. It leads three of them and, interestingly, manages to reach the summit on three tallies in three different ways. The track debuts atop the Official Vinyl Singles chart. It rockets from No. 53 to No. 1 on the Official Physical Singles ranking. At the same time, it reenters the Official Singles Sales roster in first place. Oasis collects its third No. 1 on the Official Singles Sales chart with "Some Might Say." The band has previously topped that list, which factors in both digital and physical purchases, alongside "Supersonic" and "Whatever." The group earns a fourth champion on the Official Vinyl Singles chart, following "Stand by Me" as well as both "Supersonic" and "Whatever." The latter track dominated for three frames — the same length of time that "Stand by Me" managed. "Some Might Say" sold so well that it also returns to the Official Singles chart, which blends both purchases and streaming activity to show what U.K. music fans are listening to and consuming. On that ranking, where it originally opened at No. 1 back in 1995, it returns at No. 55 30 years later.

Megan Thee Stallion set to launch her own Popeyes location

Megan Thee Stallion is leveling up her empire with the announcement that she's opening her own Popeyes franchise. The Grammy-winning rapper took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes look at the early stages of construction. 'My very own @popeyes is opening this summer, Hotties! I just stopped by to check out the location — it's still just the bones right now, but this is about to be the littest Popeyes ever!' she wrote. This move into the fast food world isn't her first time collaborating with Popeyes, she previously partnered with the chain for a hot sauce launch in 2021 but now, Megan is taking full ownership, bringing her signature flair to the business. And the Popeyes news is just the start. Megan has also dropped her latest single, 'Whatever,' which marks the beginning of Act III, the next chapter in her MEGAN series. The track blends confidence, raw energy, and the kind of punchy bars fans have come to expect from the Houston-born star. On TikTok Live, Megan teased details about the upcoming album. While she's being strategic with who she features, she made one thing clear: 'I only want to do features with artists I haven't worked with yet, or ones I genuinely listen to in my own time…people I actually f*ck with.' She went on to name one artist she's hoping to collaborate with: Doechii. When fans asked in the comments, Megan didn't hesitate. 'I love Doechii, b*tch. I do wanna do a song with Doechii. That is on my album wishlist.' With a new restaurant on the way and fresh music heating up, Megan Thee Stallion is setting the tone for a major summer, one track, and one drumstick, at a time.
