The reality star, who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2020, shared a quote that US model Bella Hadid said during an interview with publication Mighty Pursuits. I would become silent and cry... [As a] people pleaser... I was putting my worth in the hands of someone else." Siânnise, 31, admitted the powerful message had resonated with what she had seen on this series of Love Island and insisted the villa girls "deserve so much more". She wrote: "I have been a victim in my past relationships of this behaviour which I thought was normal - and that's the scariest part. "It's so disappointing and very disturbing that this behaviour on national TV especially on one of the biggest tv shows is being normalised. "Those girls deserve so much more, they deserve to be respected and my heart goes out to them." Siânnise, who was runner-up on her series with Luke Trotman, did not reveal which past relationship she was talking about. The star said the behaviour she had witnessed this series "should never be tolerated". She continued: 'I'm sure they will need a lot of support when they are out as I know the intensity of that environment and having to deal with that behaviour on top is just awful. "This whole thread speaks volumes and I'm gonna leave it here. "Please read and I hope this helps understand why this will never be ok and should never be tolerated." Fans slam Love Island's Lauren for 'embarrassing' move after she's axed from the villa She also shared a thread from Women's Aid, which claimed the show was "reinforcing a culture trivialising violence against women and girls." However, ITV have made it clear that before entering the villa, Islanders are given Duty of Care training in language, behaviour and understanding mutual respect in relationships. The cast are offered a full package of measures to ensure they remain supported prior to, during and after the filming period on the show. The Sun have reached out to ITV for comment. Fans were left furious this week after Harrison had sex with Lauren twice before dumping her and going back to Toni. Harrison confessed his feelings for Toni just moments before the recoupling, which lead to her picking him. This left Lauren in floods of tears as she admitted he had humiliated her. Harrison then did a U-turn just a day later and said he no longer wanted Toni and was "missing" Lauren, leaving both girls furious. In response, Women's Aid has issued a statement condemning his behaviour and criticising the ITV reality show for perpetuating misogyny and sexism. Jessye Werner, Communications Manager at Women's Aid, acknowledged the efforts production companies have made to highlight toxic behaviours but stressed that more progress is necessary. She told The Tab: "Despite these positive steps, we still see unhealthy patterns of behaviour on these shows, showing just how steeped in misogyny and sexism our society still is. 'Women are often lied to, slut-shamed and manipulated, as well as laughed at behind their backs. Misogyny and sexism lay the foundation for the tolerance of abuse and violence – it reinforces a culture that excuses and trivialises violence against women and girls. 'More must be done to educate contestants on sexism and misogyny, and it is a great credit to viewers who take to social media, continuing to call out these behaviours as soon as they see them.'

Mel B refuses to invite two Spice Girls members to her wedding this weekend
Melanie Brown's upcoming wedding at St Paul's Cathedral will see notable absences from two fellow Spice Girls as she ties the knot with Rory McPhee Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell will not be attending Melanie Brown's wedding this Saturday, according to sources. The fashion icon and former Spice Girl are both missing from the guest list for 'Scary Spice' Mel B's ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral, where she will marry fiancé Rory McPhee in a star-studded event. There's also talk that either Emma Bunton or Melanie Chisholm may skip the occasion. A source explains that Victoria, 51, won't be there due to pre-existing travel plans: 'Victoria has long-standing commitments abroad and simply can't attend. She adores Mel, and despite their different career paths, they get along well. It's unfortunate but there's no bad blood. It's just one of those things.' Geri's absence is rooted in a more complicated history. She and Mel have had a rocky relationship, often unable to be in the same room without tension. The rift deepened when Mel B disclosed during an interview on Piers Morgan 's Life Stories that she had a secret romantic encounter with Geri in the early days of the band - a revelation that upset Geri deeply. Mel reportedly never apologised, and the bombshell caused embarrassment for Geri's husband Christian Horner, who was said to be 'mortified' by the claims. It comes after neither Victoria nor Geri attended Mel's 50th birthday celebration in Leeds this May; only Emma and Mel C were present. The upcoming wedding will mark Mel's third marriage. She first tied the knot with Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998, donning a flamboyant Vegas showgirl feathered headdress and a white-and-gold dress. In 2007, she married Stephen Belafonte in a Las Vegas ceremony and renewed their vows in Egypt a year later. The couple separated in 2016 amid accusations of emotional and physical abuse from Mel, which Belafonte denies. His legal team claimed the couple spent through Mel's £50 million fortune during their marriage. After her split from Stephen, Mel grew close to Rory McPhee, describing him last year as 'a family friend, great hairdresser... when I went back to England, he would come over and give me hair treatments... And as he was nurturing my curls back, I guess he was nurturing my trust and belief in a relationship.' Mel is able to marry at St Paul's Cathedral thanks to her OBE, awarded in 2022 for charitable work supporting vulnerable women, particularly through Woman's Aid. Ahead of her wedding, Mel celebrated with a vibrant hen party in Tunisia, complete with leopard-print bikinis, a choreographed dance, a belly dancing class, and a 'Zen party.' Her daughter Phoenix and 35 friends joined in the sun-soaked festivities featuring dancing by the ocean and a lavish menu. The Mirror has approached Mel B's representatives for comment on this story.
