Redmi 15C 5G key specs and images leak online: Check expected features, price and more

Redmi is preparing to launch its new budget-friendly smartphone, the Redmi 15C 5G, in India and in select international markets soon, alongside a 4G variant. Recently, details about the 4G variant have surfaced online, which have revealed key specifications and design through an online retailer's listing. Now, leaks about the 5G variant have emerged online, which has revealed its expected design and features. While the 4G and 5G models are likely to share many similarities, the chipset is expected to differ. Let's take a closer look at what's coming. Redmi 15C 5G key specs and features have been leaked online ahead of the official launch. (Redmi) Redmi 15C 5G: Key Specifications (Leaked) Leaked images and information about the Redmi 15C 5G come from a report by Xpertpick, via tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. The renders show the device in green and lavender colour options, with a black option expected as well. The design looks close to the previously leaked 4G version, featuring a rectangular camera module with rounded edges positioned at the top left corner of the back. This module includes a main camera and an LED flash, along with a second camera cutout that may be decorative rather than functional. The device's front display is flat, with narrow side bezels, a slightly thicker chin, and a waterdrop-style notch centred at the top for the front camera. Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 — these 5 rumored upgrades could be game-changing

The Summer 2025 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is right around the corner, which means new Samsung Galaxy Watches are almost certainly on the horizon (also, new Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models). Rumors and leaks suggest a new Galaxy Watch 8 model is all but certain, while a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is possible but slightly less likely. For this story, I'm going to focus on the former. I reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 shortly after its release last summer and was overall impressed with the adequately comfortable, minimalistic case design, slick user experience and ample offering of handy smart features and apps; but it's the holistic and fitness-tracking tools I appreciate the most. This is why I chose it as one of the best smartwatch models in 2025. Will the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 maintain its predecessor's easy-wearing, smooth-operating disposition, while adding to the class-leading suite of AI-powered health tools? The latest rumors have me hopeful. With no shortage of leaks and murmurs to pick from surrounding the forthcoming device, these are the five biggest Galaxy Watch 8 rumors so far. Samsung introduced the 'cushion case' last year with the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Now, for better or worse, it seems that the Galaxy Watch 8 will also inherit this square-ish design. For Galaxy Watch diehards, this may be a tough pill to swallow. After all, a circular case has long been the design hallmark of the Galaxy Watch line. Perhaps Samsung simply wants to better differentiate itself from the Google Pixel Watch 3, which is also a circle. Either way, recently shared renderings by known leaker Evan Blass strongly suggest that the cushion case is here to stay, for this generation of Galaxy Watch, at least. When the Galaxy Watch 7 debuted last year, something was missing. Unlike the Galaxy Watch 6, Samsung didn't offer a Galaxy Watch 7 'Classic' model with a clicky bezel. As a lover of both traditional mechanical watches and smart ones, I'm genuinely thrilled when brands incorporate old-school design elements into their modern devices. So, yeah, I'm a huge fan of the Classic's bezel. Fortunately, an earlier set of leaked renderings strongly suggests the return of a Classic model with the Galaxy Watch 8. Like the standard Galaxy Watch 8 renderings, the Classic edition also appears to inherit the cushion case. Plus, it looks like to has a new third case-side button near the 3:00 position, similar to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. I tested the smaller 40mm Galaxy Watch 7 model and averaged roughly 24 hours of use per charge. That's a little bit better than the Apple Watch Series 10, but still a far cry from the Galaxy Watch Ultra's roughly four days of battery life (in low power mode). Based on paperwork Samsung filed for battery certification — and first spotted by Xpertpick — both the (presumably) 40mm and 44mm Galaxy Watch 8 models will see modest battery capacity increases. We're talking about a boost of about 5aMh. Still, that bump up, coupled with a possibly new, more efficient processor, could mean several more hours of use in between charges. Here's hoping. Samsung began rolling out the brand's latest One UI 8 beta software for the Galaxy Watch a little over a week ago, and one of the new features I'm most excited to try is Cardiovascular Load. While a user sleeps, the watch analyzes how much stress their daily routine is putting on their cardiovascular system. If deemed too high, the watch will warn you and presumably offer suggestions to improve your heart health. It's worth noting that as of right now, Cardiovascular Load is only promised for the Galaxy Watch Ultra (you also need the latest Galaxy S25 phone). Hmmm. That seems to suggest that the forthcoming Galaxy Watch 8 series devices will almost certainly offer the tool, too. The other forthcoming holistic feature I'm eager to try — also announced as part of One UI 8 — is Samsung's new Antioxidant Index screening tool. Using the existing onboard sensors found in the Galaxy Watch Ultra — Samsung makes no promises of this feature being supported by the Watch 7despite the two having matching sensor arrays — it can detect the level of carotenoids (antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables) currently stored in your skin. Think of it as a virtual parent or guardian, ever-present to remind you to eat healthy. Again, like Cardio Load, the new Antioxidant Index tool is all but certain to be a marquee health feature of the Galaxy Watch 8. This is a first-of-its-kind function for a smartwatch (as far as I'm aware), and though the concept sounds a little bit like science fiction, if it works reliably, it could be a super useful way to encourage better eating habits on the daily (and one I'm sure other brands will be eager to rip off).

New Patent Suggests Unprecedented Apple Watch

A new patent suggests a potential major design change for the Apple Watch. This would primarily expand its usability without increasing the device's size. According to a new patent application, Apple is apparently working on a new generation of the Apple Watch with an entirely new display. The designs show a case where the screen extends beyond the edges and wraps around the sides of the watch. This could not only increase the usable area but also change the operating logic. TECHBOOK reveals what this is all about. The sketches included in the patent document, published on the platform of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), suggest a concept where the display is curved downward at the side edges of the case. This is reported by the U.S. tech magazine 'Xpertpick.' This way, the display area could be expanded without increasing the overall size of the smartwatch. It is also conceivable that the curved areas could offer additional input options. According to the sketches in the patent document, Apple is apparently planning to move away from the previous flat screen. Instead, the display is supposed to slope downward at the sides of the case. These curved areas could offer additional control options, such as swipe gestures or virtual buttons. Read also: Why the Apple Watch Appeared as Early as 1995 A particularly striking detail: In one of the illustrations, the case appears to be completely embedded in the curved display. This suggests a particularly seamless and modern design that is not only visually appealing but could also improve usability. However, the patent does not specify which exact functions the curved display areas might take on. Apple is known for regularly filing patents for new device forms or technical concepts—many of which are never implemented. This design is also purely conceptual and does not indicate an imminent market launch. Nevertheless, the document shows that Apple continues to work on innovative solutions for its wearable devices. The idea of a curved or case-wrapped display is not new for Apple. Variants have already been presented in earlier patent applications that would allow the usable screen area on devices like the Apple Watch to be expanded. Whether the current design will ever make it to a market-ready product remains to be seen. The post New Patent Suggests Unprecedented Apple Watch appeared first on TECHBOOK.

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 leaks in full, from renders to specs

TL;DR A new leak has revealed apparent Xiaomi Smart Band 10 images and specs. The upcoming tracker seems like a slightly larger version of the previous model. The Smart Band 10 will reportedly retail for ~$46 to ~$57 in Europe. Xiaomi Smart Band wearables are among the most popular fitness trackers in the world. That's largely because they offer plenty of features at an affordable price. It looks like the Smart Band 10 is on the horizon, and a major leak just told us almost everything we need to know. Xpertpick and tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore posted apparent Xiaomi Smart Band 10 images and specs. The pictures reveal a design in line with previous Xiaomi Smart Band models, featuring a pill-shaped display. We've also got black, silver, and pink color options here. The outlet claims that the new wearable has a 1.72-inch AMOLED screen (212 x 520), making it a little larger than the previous device's 1.62-inch screen. These trackers are also known for their endurance, and the Smart Band 10 will apparently offer a 230mAh battery that lasts for up to 21 days. Expect a full charge in an hour. These battery and charging claims match the previous model. Xiaomi's upcoming wearable will reportedly support over 150 sports modes and will have a PPG sensor. Otherwise, the Smart Band 10 is said to offer Hyper OS 2.0 software and support for phones running Android 8.0 or newer and iOS 12 or newer. There's no word on a specific launch window yet, but Xpertpick says the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 will retail for €40 to €50 (~$46 to ~$57) in Europe. Got a tip? Talk to us! Samsung's next affordable smartphone could be interesting if cheap enough

Samsung inundated the Indian market with budget-friendly and mid-range Android smartphones. Although many of these devices will remain exclusively available in India, slightly different variants of the phone usually make it to other countries, but under different names. It has become a tradition for Samsung to launch a bunch of M series phones in India, which, in many cases, are just reskinned versions of other Galaxy A handsets. An example that comes to mind is the Galaxy M35 and Galaxy A35, which are almost the same device. But there's a reason that we've mentioned the Galaxy M35 in relation to the Indian market. Samsung is preparing to launch a sequel to the Galaxy M35, which is likely to be available via Amazon India. The folks at Xpertpick recently discovered the Galaxy M36 is already listed on Samsung India's website. Only the model number (SM-M366B/DS) is mentioned on the webpage, so there's no telling whether or not this will be a major upgrade over the Galaxy M35. The only things we know so far about the Galaxy M36 is that it will pack 6 GB RAM and an Exynos 1380 processor. This information appeared for the first time in Geekbench's database, so it's quite accurate. Samsung Galaxy M36 support page | Screenshot by Xpertpick Besides that, the Galaxy M36 has also received its Bluetooth SIG certification, which is another indication that Samsung might launch it very soon. In fact, since the phone already has its own support page and the predecessor made its debut exactly one year ago, it's possible that the Galaxy M36 will be unveiled this month. As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy M series phones usually borrow a lot of the Galaxy A series' specs. However, the Galaxy M36 is supposed to pack an Exynos 1380 chipset, while the Galaxy A36 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. It remains to be seen how the Galaxy A36 will look like and whether or not it will bring meaningful upgrades over the Galaxy A35 (probably not). Now, if the phone is just as cheap as the Galaxy A35, then that will make it more appealing for customers.
