Posted Brown on social media on Saturday night: 'I'm out the country ain't no more Child Support tell your mama get a job.' Brown may be joking; it's never easy to tell. A previous series of statements demonstrate that as Brown had to the arrest warrant with a bunch of posts on X, including a video of him in boxing gloves, riding a bike, and another picture accusing somebody else who "did it". But now, according to the warrant, witnesses have told police officers that Brown was the shooter, and that two shell casings were found at the scene. One man involved in the conflict alleged that Brown "began to run toward him with a firearm" and shot at him twice. For Brown, 36, this is the latest in a disturbing string of incidents tying to legal and behavioral issues since the controversial end to his NFL career where he marched off the field as a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs and was released. Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is wanted in Miami-Dade County, Florida on a charge of attempted murder, according to court documents obtained by the Washington Post. Brown spent nine years with the Steelers from 2010-18 and then spent three more seasons in the NFL before quitting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers mid-game in 2021. He has been embroiled in numerous legal battles over the years, including sexual assault allegations, physical violence, failing to pay child support, and stiffing several vendors and contractors, including during his time as the owner of the Albany Empire indoor football team. Law enforcement sources tell us authorities in Miami-Dade County, Florida are seeking to arrest the former NFL wide receiver on a charge of attempted murder stemming from a shooting at a celebrity boxing event in May. We covered the incident -- AB was briefly detained by police following an intense dust-up involving a gun at Adin Ross' Brand Risk kickboxing event just over a month ago. Video obtained by TMZ shows him getting into a physical altercation with men he claimed tried to jump him and steal his jewelry ... and another clip shows him fleeing the scene with what appears to be a gun in his hand -- before clear gunshots are heard ripping through the air. Zül-Qarnaįn subsequently told TMZ Sports he was one of the men involved in the scuffle with Antonio ... further claiming he unloaded some bullets right at him -- with kids around during the incident. Now, David Ovalle of the Washington Post is reporting an unnamed victim met with law enforcement and claimed AB opened fire at him following the physical altercation, which prompted the warrant for his arrest. In 2018, he was sued after he allegedly threw furniture off the 14th-floor balcony of a South Florida apartment, nearly hitting a toddler below. He was also accused of speeding in excess of 100 miles per hour on a suburban Pittsburgh street. He later settled a suit from the furniture-tossing episode and was fined by a judge for the speeding incident. Advertisement He played only one game for the Patriots in 2019 following a lawsuit by a former trainer alleging rape and sexual assault. He was also accused of sending threatening messages to the woman. The Patriots released him, and the NFL suspended him for the first eight games of the 2020 season. The Allegheny County district attorney did not pursue the case because the statute of limitations had expired, and the sides later settled a civil case on undisclosed terms. In June 2020, Brown pleaded no contest to burglary and battery charges stemming from an incident that January with a moving company. He was ordered to serve two years of probation and 100 hours of community service. Brown was also instructed to attend an anger management program and undergo a psychological/psychiatric evaluation. Brown signed with the Buccaneers ahead of the 2020 season, playing in 15 games across two seasons and winning a Super Bowl following the 2020 regular season. The Buccaneers released Brown in January 2022 after he left his team's game against the New York Jets, stripping off his jersey and shoulder pads as he walked to the locker room in the third quarter. Brown was arrested multiple times in 2023 on warrants accusing him of failing to pay child support. In May 2024, he filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, with records showing he owed $3 million to eight creditors.
