How to Watch the 2025 F1 British Grand Prix on a Free Channel

Looking to catch the F1 British Grand Prix live? Look no further. Today, we'll explain how to watch the race on a free channel. We know you're excited, especially after Norris' win at the Austrian Grand Prix, with Piastri just 2.6 seconds behind! Their rivalry is heating up as we approach the second summer Grand Prix. Don't worry, you don't have to sit inside and be bored this weekend. Find out how to stream the 2025 British Grand Prix online for free. The spectacular event couldn't pass the British diligent broadcasters. Instead of seeking foreign channels in different languages, Channel 4 made it easy to tune in. Channel 4 has ample advantages. Channel 4 is a British TV channel, which means English commentary and excellent footage quality. You can enjoy the entire Grand Prix and catch its most memorable moments as they transpire. Since Channel 4 is free, you don't have to subscribe. Visiting the site and signing up for a free account does the job. However, Channel 4 is locked to the UK, which means it is unavailable to visitors abroad. Luckily, there's a way to overcome the block and access Channel 4 abroad to enjoy the free live stream of the F1 British Grand Prix. The solution is underneath: scroll down to learn more. Watch F1 British GP With NordVPN Formula 1 fans have found a way to watch the F1 British GP for free. They know that Channel 4 and other Formula 1 broadcasters are region-locked. However, they also know they can be unblocked with a VPN. Many people mention NordVPN as their 'weapon' of choice. Being the world's largest VPN service, it's no strange we see it mentioned. It offers unlimited traffic, fast speeds, and many UK servers. Additionally, it supports all devices, which is crucial for Formula 1 fans worldwide. The question is: How does NordVPN help? Channel 4 restricts access based on the user's IP address. If you change your IP to the UK, you'll appear as if you're in the UK, and thus, be able to watch Channel 4 abroad. The same goes for any other region-restricted foreign channel. NordVPN is pretty simple to set up. Subscribe to it, install the VPN app, and connect to a server in the UK. Now, you have the much-needed UK IP address. Remember that NordVPN has a 30-day money-back guarantee. It's a valuable add-on that endorses a prompt refund after the race. You can go this way or keep using NordVPN for more Formula 1 race streams. Yes, the good old Formula 1 British GP is broadcast on many channels. Some Brits choose Sky Sports, as long as they can afford its £25 monthly price. In the USA, people often use ESPN Plus, which is around $11.99 monthly or $119.99 yearly. Unfortunately, watching the F1 British Grand Prix live for free in English on other channels is hard. For instance, Canadian TSN Plus broadcasts it, but requires a $80 or so annual subscription plan. Conversely, Australians have options like Kayo Sports, Foxtel, and Fox Sports. Kayo Sports currently costs $30 monthly, while Foxtel's price reaches over $100 monthly, depending on the chosen plan. Neither of these has notable free trials or refund policies usable for watching the Formula 1 British GP for free. That said, you'll have to invest plenty, only to watch a few, or just the main race, which makes little sense. Snatching a VPN and using its refund policy is the best option. Besides, a VPN allows you to unblock sports streams worldwide at under four quids a month, instead of limiting you to the possibilities of a single paid channel. Try NordVPN Risk-Free Now You know how to watch the F1 British Grand Prix on a free channel. Now, it's time to find out when to tune in. Here's the full schedule: The track length is 5,891 km, with 52 laps and 306,198 km of race distance. The fastest lap was set by Max Verstappen in 2020, who will also take part in this year's Grand Prix. Based on his failure in the last Grand Prix, where he didn't finish the race, it's hard to tell if he can be a threat to Noris, Piastri, Leclerc, and Hamilton. We'll find out this weekend.
