Mother who 'looks 10 years younger' after dropping from a size 16 to an 8 WITHOUT Mounjaro reveals her weight loss secrets
A bodybuilding mother who has been told she 'looks 10 years younger' after dropping from a size 16 to an eight has revealed her secrets - and they don't include using weight loss jabs.
Lyndsey Kelly, from Bolton, would spend her Summer months enjoying greasy takeaways and could 'easily drink a bottle of red' or two over the weekend.
The 45-year-old revealed that she knew something had to change when she would be out of breath after just walking up the stairs at home.
When Lyndsey saw the scale hit 13st 1lb, she decided it was time to make a drastic change to her lifestyle by learning how to lift weights.
Lyndsey, a machine operator and content creator who has 10,500 followers on Instagram, where her handle is @ is now a fitness fanatic with bulging muscles.
The mother-of-one looks younger than ever and has now revealed her secrets so that others can follow in her footsteps.
'A lot of women think you'll end up looking like a man if you lift heavy weights, I'm proof that this really isn't true,' she said.
'I lost nearly four stone after feeling like I was in my 70s – I had no energy to move.
'I loved loading my plate and would enjoy at least one kebab and chips or KFC every week.
'I could easily drink a bottle of red wine or a gin and tonic, both on Fridays and Saturdays.
'I couldn't walk up a set of stairs without feeling out of breath, felt ashamed of my health and could barely play with my boy. Now, I'm a muscle mummy – and I love it.
'It feels incredible to flaunt my figure in a bikini, but I also have so much more life energy.
'I recently did a photo shoot, and it felt so great to be proud of my body. Plus, people say I look years, even a decade younger.
'It's not as hard as you might think to stay fit, these are my easy steps to follow.'
Lyndsey, who hits the gym four to five times a week, where she focuses on weightlifting, says her first secret is ditching high-sugar foods or simple carbs that won't do your body any good.
The bodybuilder also drinks at least three litres of water a day. Her top tip is to walk 12,000 steps per day.
