Rihanna Continues To Demonstrate Peak Maternity Style

During the Fenty Beauty mogul's third pregnancy, she has established a sartorial presence unlike any other with her couture and off-the-runway looks. The looks she has debuted in these few months not only cement her maternity style standing, but evidence her calibre as a tastemaker in general. Following the Los Angeles premiere of her Smurfs film on Sunday, Rihanna was seen stepping out in the city for dinner at Giorgio Baldi in an ensemble which can only be described as angelic. Her baby bump rested atop the low-waisted piece, the skirt looking like it was sculpted for that very purpose. Rihanna paired the skirt with a hooded and cropped tank from the collection, as well as pointed white pumps to match. A pair of large diamond earrings framed the singers face. The standout moment came only a few hours after the singer walked the red carpet with her sons RZA (3), and Riot (2). For the premiere, she opted for a chocolate toned drop waist gown from Saint Laurent, which featured a green bow under her baby bump as well as a lace bust. She paired the gown with a distressed leather jacket slung off one shoulder. At the premiere the singer discussed the process of getting the boys into their luxe looks. 'It was getting them dressed and undressed, dressed and then undressed again 'cause they wanted to eat, lay down, tumble,' she described the feat. 'The last thing I did was get them dressed and then jump into my gown.' topics: Rihanna, RZA, Riot, Fenty, smurfs, Celebrity Maternity Fashion, maternity style, celebrity, celebrity style, fashion, celebrity fashion, celebrity news, entertainment, Trending

Although she might disapprove, the fashion world would be a better place if Rihanna was pregnant all the time. While carrying her third child, the Fenty Beauty mogul and pop superstar has taken her maternity style to impossibly great heights, proving that a baby bump cannot stop her from sporting custom couture or fresh-off-the-runway fits. I would go so far as to say that her fashion has never been better. Case in point: RiRi's latest ensemble, which transformed her into an angelic Madonna as she exited one of her favorite dining spots, Giorgio Baldi, in Los Angeles on Sunday night. For the dinner, Rihanna chose a sculptural, low-slung skirt from the Alaïa Fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection, which tapered inward as it traveled down her legs, all originating from a molded, hoop-like waist. To match the skirt, the mother-of-two added a hooded, cropped tank and pointy pumps, both in white, while accessorizing with large diamond earrings and black sunglasses to top it all off. It certainly wasn't your average dinner ensemble. The stylish meal took place mere hours after the Savage X Fenty founder walked the red carpet for her new Smurfs movie with sons RZA and Riot in tow. For the premiere, RiRi chose a chocolate ball gown from Saint Laurent, which she accessorized with a sage-green sash tied into a bow around her waist, as well as a brown, distressed-leather jacket. Meanwhile, her kids were dressed in custom Dior looks inspired by Jonathan Anderson's debut menswear collection for the French luxury house. Throughout her three pregnancies, Rihanna has turned to both Alaïa and Saint Laurent—as well as other major designer brands—in order to turn out one show-stopping look after the other, be it a red-hot Super Bowl set or a knotty, sky-blue gown for the Cannes Film Festival. Clearly, her work is not finished yet. You Might Also Like 4 Investment-Worthy Skincare Finds From Sephora The 17 Best Retinol Creams Worth Adding to Your Skin Care Routine

Rihanna Takes Below-the-Bump Dressing to the Extreme

We can't keep up with Rihanna! By the time we had processed the voluminous Saint Laurent ball gown she wore to the Los Angeles premiere of Smurfs, she was already onto the next. Photo: The Daily Stardust / Backgrid After leaving the premiere, Rih headed to her go-to dinner spot, Giorgio Baldi, where she swapped her mermaid dress for another below-the-bump look. The singer and Fenty founder saved her more avant-garde outfit for dinner: She bared her baby bump in a white hooded crop top, which she paired with a low-slung Alaïa skirt featuring a roll of padding around the waistband. Between the hooded sleeveless top and the outré skirt, Rihanna looked like the 2025 answer to Padmé Amidala. The musician and beauty mogul finished off her monochromatic look with a pair of white pointy-toe heels, black sunglasses, and diamond bracelets and earrings. At the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, she wore a blue cutout maxi dress from Alaïa's fall 2025 collection—the same runway that her 3D skirt hails from. And for the 2023 Oscars, when she was pregnant with her second son, Riot Rose, she chose a brown bodycon gown with peekaboo slivers of skin and a dramatic train. When it comes to her maternity style, Rihanna and Alaïa are a match made in heaven. Rihanna in Alaïa at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Rihanna at the 2023 Oscars.

Rihanna Teaches Riot Rose What Fashionably Late Really Looks Like

What does the concept of being 'fashionably late' mean to you? 10-15 minutes to give your host some grace? Well, for Rihanna it means being the one to close out every Met Gala red carpet (while announcing your third baby and still winning with your look) and the final star to take your fashion week front row seat. It doesn't look great on everyone, but the world stops and starts for Rih Rih. Except for yesterday evening, in Paris. Rihanna and her young son Riot Rose stepped out in the city for an appointment at Dior on Avenue Montaigne, to find the boutique was unexpectedly closed. By reports, though, it was 1a.m. The pop star kept up her striking maternity style street style though, wearing a navy layered shrunken polo by Alexander Wang that sat above her bump, as well as some turned down gray cargo pants from the brand, and black ballet flats. And despite her vast and varied handbag collection, she's kept her new canary yellow and red stitched Dior book tote on her arm for her entire Paris trip so far—the Bram Stoker's Dracula-emblazoned bag by new creative director Jonathan Anderson, who Rih has supported through both his Loewe days and his eponymous brand. She wore her hair up with loose curly pieces, a slick two-tone lip, and a pair of oval spectacles. Son Riot Rose—who she shares with partner A$AP Rocky—looked adorable in a striped blue and gray two piece, checkerboard Vans slip-ons, and a pacifier as his own star accessory.

Rihanna Channels Smurfette In A Custom Baby Blue Chanel Set

However, as she proved over the weekend in Brussels, she can also turn a beloved children's character into couture inspiration. At the world premiere of the Smurfs movie, in which she voices Smurfette, the singer appeared in a custom baby blue Chanel set. The not quite Smurf-blue ensemble was inspired by the House's Spring/Summer 2003 Haute Couture collection and featured 80,000 embroidered elements, including crystals and porcelain sequins, as well as 250 feathers. The ethereal baby-doll style top featured a rosette at the centre of the bust, from where sheer chiffon delicately draped over her baby bump. Like the top, the matching skirt featured embellishments and feathers at the hem. She topped off the monochromatic look with baby blue pointed-toe pumps and minimal accessories. He paired the look with tan loafers, keeping it from leaning too corporate with black shades and some large gold earrings. The duo are both known for their sartorial prowess and has lately been showcasing such on a trés chic tour around Europe. (Photo by Marc Piasecki/WireImage) A few days earlier, the pair attended Jonathan Anderson's debut Dior show at Paris Men's Fashion Week, in custom Dior looks by the creative director himself. Rihanna wore a plunging white button-down with wide grey trousers, elevating the menswear look with a mint green vest with cape detailing. On top, she added another layer to the eclectic and preppy ensemble with a large mixed-pattern coat. It featured a diamond motif on the inner liner and a floral pattern on the exterior—both later seen on the runway. Rocky, of course, showed up in a rebellious collegiate look of his own, wearing a blue button shirt down over dark pants. A green, red and blue tie was haphazardly tied over his collar, and he carried a beige handbag with tassel embellishments. This wasn't the pair's only fashion week outing, as soon after, they attended Rocky's own show for his brand AGWE, this time with their almost two-year-old son Riot in tow, looking just as stylish as his parents.
