Ed Sheeran Announces 2026 Australian & New Zealand Loop Tour Dates
Ed Sheeran might still be in the midst of his current run of tour dates, but the English musician is already making big plans for 2026, starting with return visits to Australia and New Zealand. Sheeran announced a new run of tour dates on Tuesday (July 22), with the eleven-show visit to Oceania set to take place from January to March 2026. 'Starting a brand new tour next year called the LOOP tour,' Sheeran wrote on Instagram. 'New stage, new tricks, new set up, new songs and all the classics added in.' More from Billboard Shakira & The Weeknd to Headline 2025 Global Citizen Festival in Central Park The Who Kick Off Farewell Tour in Italy, Perform First Show Since Zak Starkey Sacking Tool Announce First Hawaii Concert in Nearly 15 Years The tour will see the musician performing at stadiums across the New Zealand cities of Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. Sheeran will then head west for Australian stadium dates in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, before wrapping up with a show at South Australia's Adelaide Oval. The tour comes just shy of two months before the release of Sheeran's eighth album, Play, which is scheduled to arrive on Sept. 12. That release date occurs just days after Sheeran wraps up his current +–=÷× Tour (also dubbed the Mathematics Tour), which closes with three dates in Düsseldorf, Germany – almost three-and-a-half years after he first began the trek. Sheeran's Australian and New Zealand return will mark his first visit to the countries since February and March 2023. That tour also saw Sheeran break attendance records at the Melbourne Cricket Ground where, across two performances, he played to 217,500 fans. The two shows each broke the previous attendance record set by Sheeran collaborator Eminem, who played to 80,708 fans at the venue in 2019. News of the upcoming run of tour dates has been expected for some time, with Sheeran taking to his private Teddy's Vinyl Breakfast Instagram account in May to respond to fans asking about his 2026 plans. 'Oz/NZ top of next year, then Latam, then USA,' Sheeran responded at the time. Taylor Swift Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over Mysterious Countdown on Taylor Nation's Instagram
Taylor Swift fans don't know if they should be preparing for something big following a series of mysterious countdown posts on social media. Beginning on Friday, July 18, Swift's social team, Taylor Nation, began posting listening parties for all of her previous albums, starting with her debut album, Taylor Swift. 'Welcome home, self titled. 💚Dive into our favorite memories on the new Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour archival site #SelfTitledEraTSTheErasTour,' Taylor Nation wrote via Instagram, alongside several old photos from Swift's first era. 'Everything we need is finally right here by our side and to celebrate, stream the album with us at 1pm EDT today In the following days, Taylor Nation hosted listening parties for Fearless, Speak Now, Red, and 1989. Is Taylor Swift Teasing Her 12th Album? Breaking Down Possible Easter Eggs From Outfit Clues and More Swifties instantly speculated that the mysterious countdown was pointing to something — which some believe could be a new album. On Tuesday, July 22, a Swift, 35, fan page posted a possible theory on X that involves the singer releasing her 12th studio album on Tuesday, July 29. 'Debut- 1pm ☑️ Fearless- 2pm ☑️ , Speak Now- 3pm ☑️ , Red- 4pm, 1989- 5pm ☑️ , Reputation- 6 pm 👀👀👀👀👀👀, Lover- 7pm, Folklore- 8pm, Evermore- 9pm, Midnights- 10pm, TTPD- 11pm, TS12- 12am 👀👀👀👀,' they wrote. Another theory suggested that Swift could be releasing an Eras Tour documentary, or a film depicting her fight to reclaim her masters. 'WELCOME HOME: the documentary of her getting her masters back?!??!?!' one user wrote on Taylor Nation's Instagram post on Tuesday, while another shared, 'These have all been tour pics. The announcement of the tour doc is coming on Thursday, 7/24. 7+2+4=13.' Taylor Swift Fans Think She Dropped Hint About Her 12th Album in Note About Her Masters Although many people are clowning for an announcement, several fans are just convinced that Swift is planning to do a new merchandise drop on her website. 'Yall really celebrating a merch drop countdown in the comments I'm in dears,' one user said on Tuesday. Swift's mysterious countdown comes less than two months after she announced she now owns her entire discography. 'I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away,' she wrote in a letter shared via her official website. 'But, that's all in the past now. … I really get to say these words: All of the music I've ever made now belongs to me.' Throughout the past few years, Swift has been rereleasing updated versions of her first six albums after her former label, Big Machine Records, sold her catalog to Scooter Braun in 2019. She has released Fearless (Taylor's Version), Red (Taylor's Version), Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version). In addition to her rerecords, Swift dropped two new albums: Midnights in 2022 and The Tortured Poets Department in 2024, the former going on to win Album of the Year. Solve the daily Crossword

Jennifer Lopez, 56, boasts about loving ‘hard sex' as she takes BRUTAL swipe at Ben Affleck in shock new song
IF Jennifer Lopez's ex- husband Ben Affleck wasn't already running for cover, he should be now. Tomorrow, the American superstar celebrates her 56th birthday and is, insiders say, preparing to unleash her 'scorned woman energy' with a new album inspired by their bitter split. 6 6 J-Lo has already hinted at what's to come after unveiling her brand new track, Wreckage Of You, on stage in Pontevedra, Spain, during her European tour — which alluded to issues in her marriage to Ben, 52. And on stage at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy on Monday, she dished out another brutal blow with her cutting new song, Up All Night. On the track, which has the same name as her concert trek, J-Lo sings: 'I'm up all night, dancing on somebody, living my best life. I bet you wish that you were by my side. I got tired of you breaking me down.' Tellingly, she adds: 'Look at me now.' I made a decision that I wasn't going to sing all the love songs...I wanted to do songs that were like, 'Get out of here! I hate you!' J-Lo Those close to Jennifer say the cutting comeback tune is a sign of what is to come as she enters the next phase of her life. 'Jennifer has written and recorded enough tracks for a whole new album,' a source explained. 'The material is inspired by what she went through during her relationship with Ben. Wreckage Of You was so specifically about Ben, and Up All Night points to where Jennifer is at in her life right now. This is a whole new era for Jennifer and she isn't going to be holding back.' 'I feel naughty' During her Lucca gig, J-Lo ramped up the sex appeal and boasted about her antics in the bedroom before performing Moments In Love. She told the audience: 'I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don't know about you but I do, and sometimes I like it hard.' As the crowd screamed, J-Lo added: 'Other days I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow. Jennifer Lopez, 55, looks red hot as she simulates sex with hunky dancer in very steamy performance 'But there's other days . . . maybe because it's a new kind of time for me, maybe because it's summertime and it's hot outside, I feel a little more naughty.' Laughing as the crowd reacted to her words, J-Lo said with a smile: 'You ever get that feeling? 'Where you feel like being naughty? On those days, I like it real fast.' J-Lo, who has 11 shows remaining on her Up All Night tour, also insisted she won't play her love songs on the road. In a nod to the changes in her life, she said: 'I made a decision when I decided to do these shows that I wasn't going to sing all the love songs — that I was going to do my anti-love songs. 'I wanted to do the songs that were like, 'Get out of here! I hate you!'.' With a megawatt smile and a glint in her eye, she added: 'I'm just kidding. No, I'm not . . .' To mark her special day tomorrow, J-Lo will release another song, aptly named Birthday, which seems to taunt Ben about what he lost when their romance ended. She sings: 'Every day is my birthday, bitch. You ain't never seen nobody do it like this. You ain't gettin' in tonight, you ain't on the list. Everything I want, I got, I ain't got a wish.' Ironically, Ben's birthday is in a few weeks' time, though it is unlikely he'll get a card or pressie from J-Lo, who has described her Latin passion as 'my scorned woman energy'. Following the breakdown of their two-year long marriage, Ben has been stoically silent. The pair go all the way back to 2002, when they first began dating. Hailed Bennifer, they swiftly got engaged and became the celebrity It couple. But they split two years later amid rumours Ben couldn't handle the public scrutiny. Both moved on — J-Lo married third husband, Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Emme and Max, 17. They split in 2011 and later divorced. She went on to have romances with back-up dancer Casper Smart and former baseball player Alex Rodriguez. Meanwhile, Ben found love with his Daredevil co-star Jennifer Garner. They got married in 2005 and had three children — Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13. But cracks appeared as Ben began drinking heavily — he later went to rehab — and they split in 2015 after ten years of marriage. Actor and director Ben subsequently had romances with Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus and actress Ana de Armas. Then came the ultimate plot twist when, in 2021, Ben and J-Lo reunited. I never shied away from the fact that for me, I always felt like there was a real love there, a true love there Ben last year Needless to say, their hard launch on Instagram following months of rumours broke the internet. It was the stuff Hollywood fairytales are made of and fans were captivated. Later that year, Ben said he was 'in awe' of J-Lo, while she told Elle magazine: 'I never shied away from the fact that for me, I always felt like there was a real love there, a true love there. 6 6 'When we reconnected, those feelings for me were still very real.' They wed the following year — first tying the knot in July 2022 in Las Vegas, before a lavish ceremony in Georgia that August. For a moment in time, it seemed like both stars had finally found their happily ever after. But, unfortunately, reality started to set in. Initially, pictures spread of them snapping at each other in public. Then, in February 2023, cameras captured them appearing tense at the Grammys, as Jen was seen telling a stony-faced Ben: 'Look more friendly, look motivated'. Whispers grew and, by early 2024, J-Lo was clearly doing everything in her power to prove the naysayers wrong. That February, she released her visual album, This Is Me . . . Now, and its accompanying, making-of documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told. In it, she played a serial bride who toiled endlessly in a hydraulic 'love factory' before ultimately reuniting with one true love, Ben. Time to shine The double-whammy project did what J-Lo does best — put herself, and her love life front and centre. But for a publicity- adverse Ben, it was reportedly the straw that broke the camel's back. In the documentary, he was seen learning that his wife had handed over a very intimate book he had given her filled with love letters. He was clearly annoyed by the overexposure, and the album's dismal reception did nothing to repair the rift growing between them. As she struggled to save her fourth, failing marriage, J-Lo took a step back from the spotlight she loves. In May, she announced she was cancelling her Summer tour This Is Me…Live! to be with her family, telling fans: 'Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary.' 6 Now, we know she was doing it to salvage her marriage — which, sadly, couldn't be saved. She filed for divorce last August, on their second anniversary. In the aftermath, the superstar has embraced being single. In November, she told Interview mag: 'You have to be complete . . . you have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn't. This summer, I had to be like, 'I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that'.' She's clearly stuck to her word, taking herself out of the dating game while reminding the entire male race what they're missing with a sexier image than ever. On Valentine's Day this year, she told fans: 'Self-love don't cost a thing' in a thinly-veiled dig at Ben. And having cancelled her tour last year, Jen has launched herself full throttle back into the spotlight. Ben may have hated the media attention, but J-Lo loves it, and she's putting two fingers up to anyone trying to dim her light. As well as her European trek, which concludes on August 12 in Sardinia, she is also gearing up for her Up All Night In Las Vegas residency, which kicks off in December. And she will soon be seen in the remake of musical drama Kiss Of The Spider Woman, which hits cinemas in October. The message is clear: it is J-Lo's time to shine. A source revealed: 'Anyone who thought Jennifer was a victim in all of this is wrong. The pain of the break-up is over and now she is channelling that into what she does best — making music. 'Jennifer knows her worth and wants to empower other women who've walked the same path as her. She has a really powerful body of music ready to go. 'If anyone hasn't quite cottoned on to what she's trying to say, when this album drops, it'll become crystal clear.' 6

Original Alice Cooper band find their reunion a "natural evolution"
Original Alice Cooper band find their reunion a "natural evolution" originally appeared on Goldmine. In the Summer 2025 print issue of Goldmine, all the surviving members of the original Alice Cooper group chime in on their special reunion! Frontman Alice Cooper, bassist Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith, guitarist Michael Bruce, producer Bob Ezrin and newcomer guitarist Gyasi are interviewed about their new studio album, The Revenge of Alice Cooper. The new album will satisfy most Cooper fans who grew listening to the classic 1970s albums — Love It to Death (1971), Killer (1971), School's Out (1972), Billion Dollar Babies (1973) and Muscle of Love (1973). There is even a posthumous guitar appearance by Glen Buxton on The Revenge of Alice Cooper. When asked if their was any awkwardness getting back together in the studio, the band didn't hesitate answering. "Honestly," Alice Cooper told Goldmine, "once we got in the studio, everything just kind of flowed. It's almost mysterious how this album just turned out the way we wanted it to turn out. And honestly, we didn't even know how it was gonna turn out. Everything fell into place." "I think it's kind of like a marriage," said Michael Bruce. "You fall in love with someone and maybe things don't work out, and you start to get back together, and you remember things you loved doing with that other person — it's kind of like that. It never goes away, and you have that longing, longing to reconnect. That was definitely in play with the band." "Getting back together in the studio," said bassist Dennis Dunaway, "there's no catching up; we just continue as we did back then, using the same approach. Everybody has the same specialties that we all do. And it was a full collaboration. There was nobody making a final say. It was all of us listening to everybody's suggestions and then jumping on whichever one we all thought was the best." "I think it's kind of like a marriage," said Alice Cooper guitarist Michael Bruce. "You fall in love with someone and maybe things don't work out, and you start to get back together, and you remember things you loved doing with that other person." Producer Bob Ezrin said, "I would say that the moment where we all felt that this had to happen would've been during the recording of Detroit Stories in February of 2021. That spirit just carried on into this project. We already started talking about it back then, and we started listening to songs and talking to each other about what kind of music we wanted to do, and where we wanted to do it, so we just picked up the conversation where we'd left it the last time we were in the studio together." "Bob Ezrin was key in it," added drummer Neal Smith. "It makes a huge difference, because Bob is like a member of the band and to have him involved in it was a key part. It was as important as Michael's songwriting, and Dennis and I as a rhythm section and songwriters. Those are key elements of what the group was all about. With Bob Ezrin recording it and putting it all together, it was a natural evolution for us. Read the full interview (and much more!) in the Summer 2025 print issue of Goldmine! Get it HERE. Monsta X to release a new album in September
22 Jul - After more than two years, Monsta X revealed that they will be releasing a new album this September. The news was announced on 20 July, at the end of the group's three-day "Connect X" shows held at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. The performances were in celebration of their 10th anniversary. It is noted that members Shownu, Minhyuk, Joohoney, Kihyun, IM and Hyungwon were recently reunited after five of the six members finally completed their military service, which began with Shownu in 2021. Only IM has yet to begin his military service, and plans to enlist sometime this year. The group's last official release was the January 2023 "Reason". They did drop "NOW Project Vol. 1" back in May, but it was a digital album of rerecorded songs. (Photo Source: Monsta X IG)
