Everyone can get a free Galaxy Z Flip 7 from T-Mobile with or without a trade-in and minimal effort
Not sure if the newly unveiled Galaxy Z Flip 7 is the best foldable device for you this year? What if I were to tell you that you can get Samsung's latest high-end Android clamshell for free... and you don't even need to trade anything in if you don't want to? Do I have your undivided attention now? That's great, because I only need a couple of minutes to explain T-Mobile's super-straightforward (and ultra-attractive) Z Flip 7 launch deal. $1220 off (100%) 5G, 512GB Storage, 12GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy Processor, Android 16, Galaxy AI, 6.9-Inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex Display with 2520 x 1080 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Support, 4.1-Inch Super AMOLED Cover Screen with 1048 x 948 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, 50 + 12MP Dual Rear-Facing Camera System, 10MP Front-Facing Camera, 4,300mAh Battery, 25W Wired and 15W Wireless Charging Support, IPx8 Water Resistance, Three Color Options, New Line of Service or Eligible Device Trade-In Required Pre-order at T-Mobile Technically priced at $1,219.99 in a 512GB storage configuration, the brand-new flip phone with a 6.9-inch primary foldable display and 4.1-inch cover screen in tow can be had at a $120 discount to begin with sans strings attached or special requirements of any sort. That free memory upgrade offer is essentially available from all major US retailers and carriers during the handset's pre-order window, but here's where things get truly exciting for T-Mobile customers. If you're willing to open a new line of service on an Experience More, Experience Beyond, Experience More for Business, or Experience Beyond for Business plan, you can save the $1,100 you'd otherwise have to pay for a 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 without jumping through any other hoops. Alternatively, you can trade in an "eligible" device in "any" condition on a "qualifying" plan and save the exact same amount of money sans adding a new line to your existing account. Eligible phones include the likes of Samsung's Galaxy S10, Note 9, original Galaxy Fold, and Z Flip, as well as Apple's iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 12 , or iPhone 13 and Google's Pixel 6 , 6 Pro, or Pixel 7 , with the entire list being incredibly expansive and your used handset qualifying for up to a $1,100 Galaxy Z Flip 7 discount even if it's broken. At $0 (with not that much effort), this is clearly one of the greatest Android phones out there today, but if you prefer the larger and costlier Galaxy Z Fold 7, T-Mobile will offer you the same monumental discount under identical conditions. The Z Fold 7 , remember, starts at $1,999.99 (with a free storage upgrade of its own from 256 to 512GB), so obviously, you'll still have to pay quite a bit of dough for that new book-style foldable giant even after Magenta's huge markdown. Then again, $899.99 is a bargain price for Samsung's razor-thin Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship with 8 and 6.5-inch displays in tow. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! We may earn a commission if you make a purchase This offer is not available in your area.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Is Finally Available On Amazon, But There's A Catch
A month after launch and over two months after it first became available for preorder, the Nintendo Switch 2 is finally being sold on Amazon in the United States. It appears that Amazon and Nintendo have squashed any reported squabbles, though you can't quite just go to an Amazon store page and instantly buy a Switch 2 yet on the massive retail site. Instead, you can request an invite. In the weeks leading up to Switch 2 pre-orders going live, it became clear that Amazon wasn't going to be part of the chaos. Instead, when Switch 2 pre-orders went live on April 24 in the United States, you could only grab one from places like Target, Best Buy, and Walmart. No Amazon. Strangely, overseas, you could still pre-order and buy a Switch 2 and most other Nintendo games and hardware on Amazon with no problem. But over here, that wasn't the case. However, that's been changing over the last few weeks as some Nintendo Switch 2 accessories and games have popped up on the retailer. Now, finally, there is an official Nintendo Switch 2 store listing on Amazon. On July 8, as spotted by Wario64 and others on Twitter, an Amazon listing for the Switch 2 quietly went live on the retail giant. There's also a page for the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle. Both are priced as you would expect, $450 for the Switch 2 and $500 for the bundle, so no Prime Day deal, sorry. And you can't actually buy either version yet. Instead, you have to request an invite and hope you get picked. For folks looking to grab a Switch 2, this might be a solid option. And the fact that the Switch 2 is available at all on Amazon is a big deal. The two companies had seemingly been in a feud for about a year now, with many first-party Nintendo games and accessories being unavailable on Amazon. No reason was ever given, but Bloomberg reported last month that third-party sellers undercutting Nintendo's prices might have been a factor in the dispute. There was also speculation that Amazon was breaking street date. Neither company will admit what happened, and we'll likely not get an official answer as to why the Switch 2 is suddenly available on Amazon a month after launch. Regardless, if you prefer using Amazon for your online shopping, you'll soon be able to (maybe) get a Switch 2. Good luck! . For the latest news, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Your Desk Needs This Hot Wheels Dyno
The latest car news, reviews, and features. If you'd like to see your Hot Wheels cars in motion but don't want to spend all day flicking them across your desk (or building one of those giant orange tracks), you can put them on one of these 1:64-scale dynos and watch them whizz up to speed without actually moving. Well, it's not exactly a dyno because it doesn't measure power (since an engineless car has none) but visually, the effect is pretty cute. We've seen compact wind tunnels for 1:64-scale toy cars, but the Runsible 64 from Fun-Tech-Lab is considerably less expensive (about $40 instead of $250) and has the added drama of spinning the little car wheels. If you're feeling extra, Fun-Tech-Lab does have mini wind tunnels too, and for multiple scales of model cars. But the dyno feels closer to impulse-buy territory. Looks like the company's just doing pre-orders now, but here's what it's going to look like in action: Fun-Tech-Labs says it's improved upon a previous version with a lower height, faster motors, USB-C power, and automatic centering to keep your little car from escaping and flying off your table. I guess it's really as simple as a couple of adjustable, tiny motors and a power source. But it's great! This would be fun to build a whole diorama around. Imagine making a little tiny tuning shop, with this dyno in the garage and a bunch of similar-genre model cars parked outside? Or you could just put it on the desk and turn it up to speed when you want your coworkers to leave you alone. Might not be effective if you work from home, though—your kid's liable to become entranced. If somebody grabs one of these, keep me posted because I want to hear about how well it really works and which little cars look the best on it. Got some cool Hot Wheels to share? Samsung confirms Unpacked for early July
Samsung's summer Unpacked is officially on, starting at 10AM ET on Wednesday, July 9th. The invitation features a jazzy little bop and the words 'Ultra Unfolds,' so I think it's safe to assume we're getting that foldable Ultra phone the company previously hinted at. The event is set to take place in Brooklyn, but you can watch along over at Samsung's YouTube channel. The invitation seems to suggest a thinner device, or at least that's how I'm reading it. That would line up with some of the rumors, and super-thin foldables has certainly been a trend so far this year. I've wedged plenty of chunky foldables into the side pocket of my yoga pants, so I for one would welcome this development. Per usual, Samsung is offering a little incentive to reserve a device for pre-order ahead of the big reveal: $50 in credit to use at That'll cover a chunk of the cost of a case for a foldable phone, which run between $85 and $100 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 on Samsung's website right now. If the Ultra comes with an Ultra price tag, it might be worth shelling out a little more to protect it from the wear and tear of daily use. Just a little free advice.
