This Morning fans rage 'I wish she would stop!' as they call out Cat Deeley's distracting habit - but have YOU noticed it?

This Morning fans raged 'I wish she would stop!' as they called out Cat Deeley 's distracting habit. Thursday's instalment of the daily ITV programme saw the presenter joined by co-host Ben Shephard. Cat styled her stunning locks over her shoulder and wore a sleek black blouse with animal print trousers. As the pair cracked on with covering the day's hot topics and welcomed guests, one fan seemed to noticed Cat moving her long, glossy hair out of the way. One watcher penned on X: 'Will someone give cat a bobble for her hair #thismorning.' It isn't the first time viewers have noticed the presenter playing with her hair and just a few days ago others quipped: 'Someone please shave Cat's head hair off so she stops f*****g messing with it! #ThisMorning.' Someone else said: 'I wish Cat Deeley would stop fiddling with her hair! Either tie it up or have it cut into a style where you don't have to keep touching it! 'Is it something about women on this show? Willoughby was constantly doing it as well! Leave off! #thismorning.' Others have previously penned: 'I wish Cat would stop playing with her effing hair! #ThisMorning.' While someone else added: 'CAT FGS STOP MESSING WITH YOUR HAIR ALREADY #ThisMorning.' One viewer said earlier this year: 'Cat is already messing with her hair #ThisMorning.' Wednesday's instalment saw Cat leave fans open-mouthed as she revealed her real name on This Morning. The presenter made the surprise confession during a heartwarming segment celebrating Thank A Teacher Day, where she was reunited with her former primary school teacher. One viewer commented on Cat moving her hair on X while others have previously spotted it too Cat and co-host Ben had been listening to children share stories about their favourite teachers at a school in Surrey when the emotional surprise unfolded. Mrs Cotterill, Cat's own teacher from her school days, appeared via video link - and casually referred to her by her real name, catching viewers off guard. Addressing the star, she said: 'Her name is Katie.' Ben said to Mrs Cotterill: 'Because you of course know her as Katie.' Cat, who received a glowing report from Mrs Cotterill, revealed that her real name is Catherine. She went on to share that she was known as Katie during her childhood - a far cry from the name fans have come to know her by over the years. 'Well my real name is Catherine, but my grandad always used to call me Katie and my mum and dad and stuff,' she said, adding: 'Unless I was in trouble, then I was sometimes Catherine!' Giving her feedback on Cat, who was delighted to see the familiar face, Mrs Cotterill said: 'She was very enthusiastic, a very kind child. 'Always wanting to help, always wanting to be involved, just actually, an all round super person.' This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 from 10am and streams on ITVX.

BBC DJ forced to issue apology after shouting expletive live on air

BBC Radio Derby presenter Ian Skye swore live on air on Friday, shocking listeners. The expletive occurred moments after Skye invited listeners to message in if they had any requests. Skye jokingly attributed the outburst to a sudden cramp and apologised 'profusely' as the show's jingle played. He admitted that he had attended a course on improving his radio skills the day before the incident. Watch the video in full above.

Lorraine Kelly shares shock bikini picture to highlight dangers of AI beauty filters

surprised viewers with an AI-altered picture of herself wearing a bikini to highlight the dangers of computer-generated beauty filters promoting unrealistic body images. The television presenter revealed a before-and-after image using an AI filter during a segment on ITV 's Lorraine on Thursday morning (12 June). The side-by-side photo shows an untouched picture of Lorraine in a swimsuit on the left, and a dramatically altered version on the right. 'I actually laughed 'cause I thought, crikey,' she said, adding: 'I've got a belly... Who hasn't?' The picture came after presenter Emily Clarkson went viral on social media with a video showing how easy it was to manipulate live images of her own body using phone apps.

BBC has ducked this for too long — it must stand up to brazen Gary Lineker

Gary Lineker is to my mind an excellent presenter, but let's not pretend there aren't many others who could do his job. The thing about a role such as Lineker's is that it has what is sometimes called 'path dependency': the longer you do it, the more kudos and authority you gain — until you become a significant national figure, whose words carry weight and who the nation (and executives) can come to feel is indispensable. I once chatted to Sir Trevor McDonald — a decent and wise man — about this process when we met at the Oval (he's a huge cricket fan). He was acutely self-aware about his journey, getting a few key breaks as an aspiring journalist, landing the job as the

Holly Willoughby's future with ITV 'revealed' after Dancing On Ice axe amid fears for her Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt

is reportedly in talks with ITV bosses about her future with the channel. The TV presenter, 44, was ITV's Golden Girl for many years and carved out her place as the fan favourite face of its top shows including This Morning and Dancing On Ice. But after the skating show's axe earlier this year, Holly was left without an ITV primetime show for the first time in 21 years. Now, Holly has allegedly had extensive talks with director of entertainment and daytime Katie Rawcliffe to lock in hosting gigs. A source told The Sun: 'Holly always intended to lock in new presenting roles for ITV, which has been her home for so long. 'She didn't have anything confirmed earlier this year just due to the way the cards had fallen, but there are a string of exciting projects on the table and 2025 is looking good for Holly. The TV presenter was ITV's Golden Girl for many years and carved out her place as the fan favourite face of its top shows including This Morning and Dancing On Ice 'Holly is looking to the future and this week's meeting was a big part of that. It won't be a return to daytime programming but new entertainment formats.' MailOnline have contacted ITV and Holly's representatives for comment. She has long been a familiar face on both ITV and ITV2, hosting on shows including Surprise Surprise, Celebrity Juice, The Games, The Xtra Factor and I'm A Celebrity. Holly is arguably best known for having fronted This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield from 2009 until 2023, while she also helmed Dancing On Ice from 2006. Meanwhile, Holly has been dealt a huge blow as her new Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt faces the axe. The second series of the jungle adventure show, which was held in Costa Rica, is yet to be approved despite several meetings. It's been reported that the show, which proved to be a hit with viewers and critics, needs to have mega-budget cuts if it is to return with hosts Holly and Bear Grylls, 50, likely to face pay cuts. A cheaper location is also being sought, as well as plans for fewer expensive celebrities after the likes of Spice Girl Mel B and tennis player Boris Becker were among the 12 stars in the first series. A cheaper location is also being sought, as well as plans for fewer expensive celebrities after the likes of Spice Girl Mel B and tennis player Boris Becker were among the 12 stars in the first series Other celebrities that took part included Lottie Moss, Danny Cipriani, Big Zuu, Joe Thomas, Kola Bokinni, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Leomie Anderson, Shirley Ballas, Steph McGovern and Una Healy. A source has now told The Sun: 'It got excellent reviews and was a brilliant production. Bosses were happy with its performance. 'Yet if it is recommissioned, cuts will 100 per cent be made and this could include talent salaries — both Holly and Bear as well as the celebs. 'All measures are being explored. As to location, think Clacton or Croatia, not Costa Rica.' She recently dashed ITV's hopes that she would be their Saturday night star by turning down a lucrative deal to front game show You Bet!.
