Scattered showers, storms expected in southeast Michigan, cold front coming
Southeast Michigan can expect scattered showers and storms Sunday which could give way to colder temperatures in the evening, according to the National Weather Service. Isolated gusts in the region could reach up to 60 miles an hour and the National Weather Service is also warning of torrential downpours, with the highest chance of storms to occur between 2-8 p.m. Related: Great Lakes waves could be dangerous on July 6. The clouds will stick around North Texas today, keeping temperatures below average again this afternoon, staying in the mid to upper 80s. No severe weather is expected, but a few afternoon thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are possible. CBS News Texas An isolated shower is possible during the fireworks displays, but the rain will be clearing out the closer it gets to sunset. CBS News Texas Temperatures look great in the upper 70s, but remember the bug repellent. Spotty showers will continue the rest of the holiday weekend, but more sunshine is expected Saturday and Sunday. Spotty showers are ongoing mainly west of I-35, where deeper moisture is in place. We will continue to see mostly cloudy skies today with scattered showers and even an isolated afternoon thunderstorm. No severe weather is expected, but lightning and gusty winds are possible with any stronger storm. The clouds will help keep temperatures below average, topping out in the lower 90s. We remain in the same pattern through the 4th of July with continued spotty showers, partly sunny skies, and highs in the low 90s. Skies brighten a bit this weekend, boosting temperatures back into the mid-90s and feels like temperatures to 103-105.
