Celeb osteopath who parked outside uni halls with telescope and camera to perv on female students undressing is jailed

A CELEB osteopath who parked outside uni halls with a telescope and camera to perv on female students undressing has been jailed. Torben Hersborg wore a balaclava to hide his face and lay in the back of his Lexus to spy on the women in King's Cross, London. 3 The 64-year-old, whose celeb clients included Fearne Cotton and actress Anna Friel, was also spotted crawling around in the vehicle while peeking through the window. He has now been jailed for three years and five months and made the subject of a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). The osteopath has pleaded guilty to three charges of observing a person doing a private act "for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification". Snaresbrook Crown Court heard the offences took place on December 10, 14 and 21 last year. Varinder Hayre, prosecuting, said: "On December 21 at about 9pm, a member of the public reported that a male in a car has been taking photographs and videos of students in university students' accommodation. "The member of the public also said he has seen the male in the car about four years ago." The bystander also called police on December 10 and 14 but officers did not attend, the court heard. Hersborg was caught by police wearing black gloves and had black plastic bags lining the seats. When asked what he was doing, Hersborg claimed he had gone for drinks but felt like he was going to "pass out" on the way home so pulled over. But officers discovered a battery in his pocket and a camera and telescope in his car. Police recovered 68 images and videos that showed a woman in just a T-shirt, a different female sitting in her bedroom and another "seemingly getting dressed". A search was carried out at Hersborg's home and a large quantity of digital devices was seized. He gave no comment in his police interview, except to say he was "sorry for the whole situation". Hersborg is the director of the Central London Osteopathy and Sports Clinic in Old Street. His social media included video of a treatment session with Strictly star Viscountess Emma Weymouth, as well as photos with Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance and Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood. Hersborg has also worked with Italian Serie A football team Brescia and the Danish Tennis Federation. He has been suspended from practising as an Osteopath by the General Osteopathic Council. Alex Weichselbaum of the Crown Prosecution Service said: "Hersborg operated in plain sight for too long and, having targeted thousands of women over 12 years, we believe the scale and significance of his offending makes him one of London's most prolific voyeurs. "His meticulously planned acts included setting up secret cameras in his clinic and covertly filming women - both in public and when they thought they were in the privacy of their own homes. "Hersborg deliberately abused the trust of his unwitting patients by filming them in intimate positions and targeted strangers for his own sexual gratification. "Women should be free to live their lives without unwanted intrusion – particularly from sexual offenders like Hersborg who deliberately chose to film or photograph them in their most private or intimate moments." 3

Man, 21, pleads guilty to stabbing woman, 39, to death with knife as she slept in bed before sexually abusing her body

Colette Fountain Published: Invalid Date, A MAN has been convicted of murdering a woman while she slept before sexually abusing her body. Ernestas Juska, 21, from Dartford pleaded guilty to murder and committing a sexual offence against a deceased female today at Maidstone Crown Court. He will be sentenced on November 28. Ernestas attacked the 39-year-old victim with a large kitchen knife while she was sleeping in bed at around 6.40am on August 17, 2024. He was later arrested after he told a member of the public to call the police because he had killed someone. Kent Police officers detained Justa at a bus stop before he led them to the crime scene at his home on Henderson Drive. The woman was found deceased in bed having suffered multiple stab wounds. He said that she was a family friend who had stayed overnight, and that the attack was because he wanted "to lash out". The killer had consumed alcohol and cocaine the night before the attack. Juska admitted to sexually abusing her dead body after he had attacked the victim. Detective Sergeant Max Gregory said: "The depravity of Juska's actions is almost indescribable. He inflicted horrific injuries to his defenceless victim and admitted he had no real motive for killing her other than wanting to harm someone who wasn't related to him. "During police interviews he spoke of the excitement he felt in the moments leading up to this barbaric murder. For Juska to then commit further heinous acts on the deceased woman is beyond comprehension. "Juska's crimes have ultimately led to the senseless loss of a beloved daughter and sister and our thoughts remain with her family."

West Yorkshire Police officer 'tipped off' about sex offence inquiry

A woman has complained to police after an officer she made sexual offence allegations against was "tipped off" before she had given a formal woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, made allegations of rape, drink spiking, deliberately passing on a sexual infection, coercive and controlling behaviour and harassment in 2023. She told the BBC the officer she accused had been informed about her complaint within a few hours by another West Yorkshire Police force said it had received a complaint which was being investigated by the Professional Standards Directorate. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said it had carefully reviewed all of the material passed on by police but concluded there was not enough evidence to charge the suspect with any woman said she felt the investigation was flawed, adding: "I was told that because he'd been tipped off, they'd made the decision not to arrest him on Monday or seize any of his electronics because there was no element of surprise."It just didn't make any sense to me that they wouldn't take his electronics, but, ironically, throughout the process I was repeatedly asked to hand mine in or provide information off them."In an email seen by the BBC, West Yorkshire Police said the CPS needed to see accounts, notes or statements from the woman's support workers and correspondence also asks her to provide details of all previous sexual partners because "they will need to be spoken to" and asks her to consent to a full phone data download. 'A woman scorned' The woman has also criticised the language used during the investigation."I have been asked if I am a woman scorned, I have been asked what I'm normally like in bed," she said."I have pushed back about the appropriateness of how things have been dealt with and I've felt the whole way through like I've constantly had to defend myself."West Yorkshire Police said a file of available evidence had been submitted to the CPS, which reviewed it and advised no charges would be a statement, the CPS said: "We understand the importance of focusing investigations on the suspect, not the complainant, and not seeking material from complainants inappropriately.""Any material requested from the complainant was to help support her account of what had happened," a spokesperson added. The Victim Support charity has called for changes to the way allegations against officers are handled and said independence was "crucial" to Addison, its national sexual violence lead, said: "At the very least, a different police force should be investigating because it really makes that person feel they have been listened to and it's going to be investigated properly."The Survive charity, which supports victims of sexual violence, said officers must be mindful of the language used and investigations should not be focused on the complainant. "Very few survivors of sexual offences report to the police," said chief executive officer Mags Godderidge. "With those that do, it's not uncommon for them to say they found the experience retraumatising." Former NCT member Taeil sentenced to three and a half years jail for sexually assaulting woman

SEOUL, July 10 — A South Korean court has sentenced Taeil, a former member of the K-pop boy band NCT, to three and a half years in prison after finding him guilty of committing a sexual offence. According to the Yonhap News Agency, the Seoul Central District Court delivered the sentence to the 31-year-old yesterday and ordered his immediate detention. Two other men involved in the same case were reportedly handed identical sentences and also taken into custody. The three were charged in March for sexually assaulting an intoxicated foreign woman in Seoul in June last year. They had initially been indicted without detention. In addition to the prison terms, the court reportedly instructed all three to complete 40 hours of a sexual violence treatment programme, noting that the offence was serious as the victim had been inebriated and unable to resist. According to the report, prosecutors had sought a seven-year jail term for each of the accused. Taeil was removed from NCT in August last year following police investigations into the allegations.
