I helped Princess Eugenie with her summer glow up – the salty water trick which ensured she looked so good at Ascot

PRINCESS Eugenie was the picture of elegance at Royal Ascot, despite the sweltering heat. The woman behind her glowing and radiant appearance is society nutritionist Gabriela Peacock, who also counts Princess Beatrice, Jodie Kidd and Billie Piper, among her A-list clients. 9 9 9 9 9 Fans were quick to comment on the royal's impeccable Ascot looks, with one saying: " Princess Eugenie looks so lovely", and another added: "Absolutely beautiful." With summer upon us, many people want to look and feel their best for the beach, weddings or holidays. Gabriela has revealed there are some easy steps everyone from royalty to the public can take to achieve this. Gabriela, 45, who is godmother to Beatrice's three-year-old daughter Sienna, told Fabulous: 'As a nutritionist working with everyone from royalty to red carpet regulars, my philosophy is all about realistic wellness. 'That means supporting your skin, energy, and mood through smart nutrition, simple lifestyle tweaks, and a little science-backed supplementation. 'No crash diets, no overtraining — just small changes that create long-term glow. 'Here's how I help my clients achieve their ultimate summer glow-up — and how you can too…' 1. NUTRITION Gabriela shared an example summer menu which will help you feel your best… Breakfast Glow Bowl: Try Greek yoghurt or kefir with mixed berries (especially blueberries + strawberries), a tablespoon of chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, and a drizzle of manuka honey. Gabriela explained: 'Why? Antioxidants for skin protection, probiotics for gut health, and omega-3s for a dewy, hydrated glow. Princess Beatrice is pregnant with her second child and shares sweet picture with husband Edoardo 'Hydrating foods such as watermelon, cucumbers and coconut water is the way to really help support the skin health to keep it plump and moisturised.' Lunch Salmon & Avocado Salad: Grilled salmon on a bed of spinach, rocket, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and a lemon-olive oil dressing. The nutritionist explained: 'This is rich in collagen-boosting protein, healthy fats, and vitamin C for skin elasticity and radiance.' Dinner Grilled Chicken with Quinoa & Roasted Veg: Courgette, peppers, and carrots with garlic and turmeric. She added: 'This has lean protein for hair and nail health, fibre for detoxification, and turmeric to reduce inflammation.' 9 9 2. FOOD TO AVOID It can be hard to turn down sweet treats in hot weather, but Gabriela said if possible you should avoid excess sugar during the summer. She explained: 'It can contribute to dull skin and breakouts particularly when the weather is hotter like it is now.' Too much caffeine was also a no go as this can 'really dehydrate the skin and as a result reduce that glowy dewy skin.' And finally highly processed foods should be ditched as they are often 'low in nutrients and high in inflammatory oils.' 3. UNPLUG FROM STRESS Feeling good and looking good go hand in hand and Gabriela said she advises her royal clients to make it a priority to unplug from screens where possible. She explained: 'Get outside every day, even if it's just for 10 minutes, and stick to a regular sleep routine. 'These simple habits help regulate your nervous system, which in turn supports everything from hormone balance to skin clarity. 'Stress can easily show up on your face, whether through dullness, breakouts or sensitivity, so I always encourage my clients to create space in their day for proper rest and mental recovery. 'Whether it's reading, meditating, or just having a quiet cup of tea, finding moments of peace amidst the chaos is essential for glowing-up.' 9 4. ADD SALT TO WATER Most people underestimate how quickly dehydration can affect their energy, skin and focus - but it can be easy to fix. Gabriela shared: 'My trick is to add a pinch of sea salt or electrolytes to my water for better absorption. 'Electrolyte sachets are super convenient to travel with too. I also switch out one coffee for herbal tea or fruit-infused water. Small changes, big difference.' 5. PICK FUN FITNESS You don't need to spend hours in the gym to feel fit and strong, according to the royal nutritionist. She shared: 'I always recommend my clients to opt for a physical activity that they enjoy, so that it doesn't feel like a chore or punishment. 'Whether that's Pilates, yoga, strength training or a brisk walk - keep it short and effective. 'The goal is consistency, not exhaustion. 'It's also so hot in London at the moment so anything quick, easy and light you can do is enough! 'I try to walk after meals, take the stairs when I can, stretch while watching TV, or even use small hand weights when sat in long car journeys.' 6. TAKE SUPPLEMENTS Gabriela advised boosting your health with supplements like RadiantMe - which is a daily sachet formulated to support healthy skin, energy and vitality. She shared: 'It supports healthy skin, hair, and nails, and is such a simple way to get those essential skin-loving vitamins and minerals in one quick daily drink. 'It's my secret weapon for staying consistent when life is full on - plus it tastes amazing too!'

I work at Superdrug & here's my 10/10 tanning routine – including a £5.49 buy that's a must for a glow that's not patchy

Abigail Wilson, Senior Digital Writer Published: Invalid Date, WITH temperatures continuing to rise, if you're reluctant to get your legs out until you've fake tanned, you've come to the right place. Many of us will shudder at the thought of revealing our pale pins on a warm day, but now, luckily for you, here's a '10/10 tanning routine' you won't want to miss. 6 6 Thanks to these handy tips from a Store Manager at a Superdrug store in Godalming, Surrey, your tan is sure to turn heads this summer. Not only will your glow be better than ever thanks to four high-street products, but a £5.49 beauty buy is a must if you're searching for a glow that's not patchy. Posting on social media, a self-proclaimed 'fake tan fanatic' from Superdrug shared the super simple tanning routine, leaving many totally stunned. There's four products you'll need - an exfoliator, an instant tan, a gradual tan and a face mist. Sharing the step-by-step advice, the brunette recommended: 'First things first, we definitely have to get rid of our old fake tan, or at least exfoliate.' The Superdrug employee recommended the Extracts Body Scrubs, which have currently been reduced to just £2.89 from £5.99 and are available in a range of scents. Not only does the Cherry Blossom Body Scrub 'smell unreal', but according to the product listing, it works to 'help gently exfoliate dull and dead skin cells, revealing softer and smoother skin.' Next up, the Superdrug employee shared: 'Then, the main event is the Solait Tanning Mousse - I like the Ultra Dark one as I like a dark tan, but they do so many different variations and this gives you such a nice colour.' The Solait Self Tan Express Mousse is only £5.99 and is said to be a 'lightweight, fast-absorbing formula' that develops in up to one hour. Following this, the beauty guru swore by her favourite tanning moisturiser - the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk, which is priced at £15.99. I love being brown all year but hate fake tan - my £5 hack means I can get a glow in seconds & DON'T smell like biscuits She beamed: 'This is really, really good to put on after you've fake tanned - it's a really nice colour.' Finally, the Superdrug employee shared her favourite facial tanning product - the St Moriz Coconut Paradise Anti Break Out Face Mist, which is only £5.49. Fake Tan Lovers Guide to Applying it Streak-Free Here's Fabulous ultimate guide to a flawless, streak-free fake tan that will leave you looking like you've just stepped off the beach... Preparation is Key A streak-free tan starts with proper skin prep. Exfoliate your skin thoroughly 24 hours before application. Focus on rough areas like elbows, knees and ankles to ensure an even canvas. Opt for an exfoliator with natural ingredients to avoid irritation. Hydration Station Moisturise your entire body right after exfoliating, but pay extra attention to dry patches. On the day of tanning, only apply a light, oil-free moisturiser to these areas a few hours before you plan to tan. This prevents the tan from clinging to dry spots and developing unevenly. Formulate, Don't Hate Selecting the right fake tan product can make all the difference. Mousse formulas are easiest to apply and blend. Tanning drops can be added to your regular face moisturiser to match your face with your body. Application O'Clock Using a tanning mitt is non-negotiable for an even application. Dispense a small amount of product onto the mitt and apply in long, sweeping motions. Start from your ankles and work your way up to avoid creases. Apply sparingly on joints and use a fluffy make-up brush for your hands and feet. Post-Tan Care Once you've applied your tan, allow it to dry completely before dressing. Loose, dark clothing is best to avoid transferring colour. Avoid water and sweat for at least six to eight hours while the tan develops. After your first rinse, pat your skin dry gently and moisturise daily to prolong your tan. Thrilled with the bargain buy which combines self-tan and skincare and works to help prevent breakouts and unclog pores, the woman beamed: 'It gives your skin a really nice natural glow, without being patchy.' Fake tan fans beam The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ superdruggodalming, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 116,800 views. Not only this, but it's also amassed 4,078 likes, 31 comments and 1,725 saves. Fake tan fans were impressed with the four-step routine and many raced to the comments to express this. I let AI choose my summer glow up, a change made such a difference but another made me look like an 80s rollerskater

IT SEEMS we've all gotten used to asking AI to help us out - from getting the time from Siri, planning a holiday, and even giving us a makeover. And for me, it was time to see how AI could help me look my best for summer. 4 4 4 With my 30th around the corner and a handful of weddings to attend, I want to make sure I look my best. But when you're stuck doing the same make-up routine day in and day out, it can be hard to decipher what looks work for you. But now Chatgpt allows you to put a picture into their system and give you pointers, I decided to give it a go. I sent an image of myself with my usual hair and make-up and asked it to give me some tips for a summer glow up. It took a few goes to get the algorithm to understand what I wanted, but after just a few minutes, it came up with the ultimate makeover list. The AI system was happy to tell me what I had already nailed (sculpted brows) and what I wasn't doing so well with (dull skin, thank you). Here's a full list of Chatgpt's recommendations I decided to take on the advice fully and gave myself a total transformation, and here are the results. Primark drops brand new Benefit dupes ahead of summer - there's a copycat of the iconic bronzer and even a freckle pen Hair The AI bot recommended I add some lighter and warmer tones to my hair, which is already pretty ginger and to add some loose waves. I begrudgingly curled my hair before brushing it out for a softer look and I have to say, it did make my hair look fuller and suited my round face shape. While I hate taking the time to curl my hair, this will be something I'll add to my routine for special occasions. Ditch or Keep? Keep Skin I felt personally attacked by its description of my dull skin that needed a bit more glow (I just got off a long-haul flight, okay?!), but couldn't agree more with the bot. Instead of slapping some moisturiser on and being done with it, I took my time using a toner to help close my pores and brighten the skin before going in with a face moisturiser and an eye cream. Not only did my skin feel so much more hydrated, but it also made applying my makeup much easier and gave it a better finish without clinging to dry skin. Ditch or Keep? Keep Top beauty trends for 2025 Hayley Walker, Beauty Expert at Justmylook spoke exclusively to Fabulous about the big beauty trends for 2025. Haircare Hair gloss treatments are a must-have as beauty enthusiasts love the salon-quality shine and enhanced colour delivered by the trending treatment. Hair glosses are multifunctional, as they nourish the hair while offering a vibrant, healthy-looking finish, combining 2025's core trends. This treatment is perfect for those seeking an affordable, at-home glow-up. 2025 will focus on skin repairing and texture-enhancing treatments. Skincare Rejuran treatment, a celebrity-endorsed procedure, will see a rise in demand this year as many seek to enhance their skin's appearance. The procedure entails injecting polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA to enhance skin texture and elasticity. 'Rejuvenation is expected to dominate 2025 skincare trends as many seek to achieve a flawless, youthful complexion. Skincare will also include back-to-basic products for a simplified routine. Ginseng cleansing oil and panthenol cream are among the trending products for 2025. The cleansing oil is excellent for dissolving make-up and impurities without clogging pores and is enriched with nourishing properties to leave the skin feeling and looking refreshed and radiant. Make-up Make-up trends will follow suit to achieve youthful and radiant looks. Under-eye brighteners will be sought-after products for delivering coverage while enhancing natural radiance. This beauty tool will complement natural beauty while improving and brightening dull skin. Make-up looks will be bigger and bolder in 2025 with cluster lashes expected to surge this year. These lashes bring the glam to glamorous looks as they deliver dramatic volume to enhance everyday or special occasion looks. Peel-off lip stains circulated the beauty industry in 2024 and are expected to dominate in 2025. The growing popularity of this product is due to its ability to provide long-lasting, transfer-proof colour to lips, enhancing a natural aesthetic. Additionally, cherry-coded aesthetics are expected to be everywhere this year as the deep, rich hue can be achieved using peel-off lip stains or bold lip looks for a dramatic effect. Nails 2025 will be another year of countless, show-stopping nail trends. Goddess Nails and Aura Nails deserve an honourable mention as these designs channel an ethereal, celestial aesthetic for bold, self-expressing nails. Make-up Now, I am no expert when it comes to make-up, so this was the step I was most concerned about. I rarely experiment with my make-up routine and often feel like I look like a kid who got into their mum's makeup bag when I do try, but I was willing to give it a go. It suggested a more dewy base than what I'm used to, so I went in with a simple tinted moisturiser and light-weight concealer around the eyes and to cover any blemishes. Instead of using powder all over the face, I concentrated it on my T-zone and under my eyes to keep a dewy finish to the skin. Once the base was practically done, I went in with a cream blusher in a rosey colour as instructed as well as a little highlighter along the cheekbones, cupid brow and the arch of my eyebrows. I have to say, looking in the mirror, the blush and highlighter seemed to make a massive difference, and gave my cheekbones a little more definition to make my face look less puffy. It also suggested I add some bronze eyeshadow to the eyes and add a winged liner. While I usually add a small amount of eyeliner, I tend to skip eyeshadow out of laziness but found it made my eyes more of a focal point without looking too heavy. Last but not least, it was time for lippy, a step I notoriously skip as I hate the feel of it. They recommend a glossy coral/pink hue that I wasn't a fan of. I already know coral isn't my shade so I opted for a light, slightly warm pink and was still unimpressed with its recommendation. The bright colour was too much of a contrast for me, and the gloss only made it more apparent leaving me looking like an 80s rollerskater. Ditch or Keep? Keep (minus the lipstick colour) Accessories Last but not least were accessories, something I tend to keep to a minimum. Fortunately, Chat GPT had correctly guessed my choice of metal (gold), so I chucked in a pair of small gold hoops to finish the look. Ditch or Keep? Keep Final Verdict I'm actually rather impressed with the glow-up Chatgpt made for me, the hair added a little extra to my look while the dewy skin was perfect for summer. The addition of highlighter gave my face some much-needed definition and the bronze shadow was easy to apply and accentuated the colour of my eyes. While I will skip the lippy recommendation and go for a more rosy hue, the overall makeup was a nice step up to my usual routine without looking too dramatic - perfect for summer. 4
