'I'm broke?' Antonio Brown trolls the media with $24 million bank screenshot and NSFW tweet
Antonio Brown claps back at bankruptcy reports with $24M bank balance and NSFW tweet -The Antonio Brown chaos train is back on the tracks and this time, it's riding straight through the bankruptcy headlines. On June 25, multiple sports outlets reported that the former NFL wide receiver, who once made over $100 million in career earnings, had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They claimed AB had less than $50,000 in assets and owed nearly $3 million in debts, from lawsuit judgments to unpaid vendors. Fans were shocked. Critics dunked on him. And within hours, Brown fired back, loudly. AB posted a screenshot of $24 million in his account and told the media to fall back Rather than release a statement or deny the reports the traditional way, AB did what only AB would do, he reposted the viral MLFootball tweet about his 'heartbreaking' bankruptcy and attached a screenshot showing what appears to be a money market account with a $24,001,006.09 balance. His caption? 'bankrupt over get off my 🍆' Yep. That's the tweet. No follow-up. No context. Just a flex and an emoji. Fans on X were instantly split: is AB trolling again? Is the screenshot real? Is the account even his? Or is this just peak Antonio Brown energy in response to the headlines? Social media is eating it up and no one knows what to believe anymore After Antonio Brown clapped back at bankruptcy headlines with a screenshot claiming he has over $24 million in the bank, fans flooded the replies and let's just say, it turned into a comedy show. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The 20 Most Expensive Cars Of All Time Undo Users like @RickyRobby99 and @strallweat couldn't help but clown AB's money management skills: 'Why you got that much in a money market breh. Get a financial advisor 😂😂' and 'Let me be your financial advisor 🙏' Another user @miketx95 joked, 'Let me hold $3,' while others asked, 'You need a loan, AB?' Image via X The most chaotic part? Brown's court filing reportedly listed his own company, CTESPN, as a debtor. So while the bankruptcy is real, AB may be trying to separate personal wealth from business debt or he may just be trolling for fun. It's always hard to tell with him. Bankruptcy headlines or not, Antonio Brown's response was exactly what you'd expect: loud, unfiltered, and totally meme-worthy. Whether that $24 million is real, exaggerated, or just a decoy, one thing's for sure, AB's not going down quietly. And if he is broke, he's broke with a verified account and a Wi-Fi connection strong enough to break the internet. Steelers' Cam Heyward recalls Antonio Brown's relentless practice habits: ‘Second to none'
Despite trading blows on social media, Steelers DT Cam Heyward recently offered high praise of former wide receiver Antonio Brown's work ethic. On his podcast, Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, the veteran Steelers defender touched on what made Brown such a great receiver during his time in the NFL: "AB's practice habits were second to none," Heyward said. "You see the highlights, you see him shaking Joe Haden, you see him finishing the top of routes, you've seen him make these unbelievable plays — but the cool thing about AB was the way he finished special teams drills. The way he would catch a punt return and take it all the way for a touchdown… watching AB just work in practice, then catch 100 balls after practice. He even had a dream room in his house where he would just constantly be thinking about football. AB took it to a totally different level." Brown's spiral from NFL stardom, which began with his exit from the Steelers, remains one of the most disappointing what-if stories in Pittsburgh sports. The former Steelers wide receiver is currently facing an attempted murder charge stemming from a violent altercation at Adin Ross' celebrity boxing event — and has claimed on social media that he's "out the country." Antonio Brown leaves country after attempted murder warrant but he can't run forever
(Image via Getty) Antonio Brown just crossed another line and this one might be the hardest to come back from. The former NFL wide receiver, once known for his record-breaking catches, is now making headlines for something far darker: facing an attempted murder charge and fleeing the country before the warrant could be enforced. But instead of laying low, AB is doing what AB does best, making it worse. Antonio Brown is wanted in Florida for attempted murder but he left the country instead On June 11, Florida authorities issued a warrant for Brown's arrest on second-degree attempted murder charges after a violent altercation outside a celebrity boxing event in Miami. Reports allege that Brown punched a man, disarmed a security guard, and fired two shots, one of which grazed the victim's neck. The bond was set at $10,000, and Brown was ordered to remain on house arrest once taken into custody. But instead of turning himself in, he left. Authorities confirmed that Brown is no longer in the United States, with most signs pointing to Dubai or somewhere in the Middle East. Brown took to X (formerly Twitter) with a jaw-dropping message: 'I'm out the country, ain't no more child support, tell your mama get a job.' The internet's jaw dropped, and just like that, Antonio Brown reminded the world why he's no longer seen as a misunderstood star, but a full-blown PR disaster. Law enforcement is now waiting for him to return, at which point he'll be arrested. From abroad, Brown mocks child support and doubles down on his defiance If there was ever a moment to show remorse or at the very least, silence—this was it. But Antonio Brown, never one to read the room, decided to post this instead: 'Ain't no more child support, tell your mama get a job.' This comes after multiple past legal issues involving unpaid child support. And now, the post has triggered massive backlash, with fans and critics calling it 'disgusting,' 'clueless,' and 'beyond saving.' Brown also lashed out at the media, claiming he was being portrayed unfairly and that he's the victim of "racist profiling." Legally, Brown can't run forever. Miami police say they've been in touch with his legal team and plan to arrest him as soon as he returns to U.S. soil. However, without an international warrant, his stay abroad may delay the process, possibly on purpose. But legally delayed doesn't mean forgiven. And publicly? The damage might already be permanent.
