One Venue On Paul McCartney's New Tour Isn't Like The Rest

(Photo by) When Paul McCartney brings his Got Back tour to North America this fall, he'll play stadiums, arenas and amphitheaters – with the exception of one night in Nashville, Tennessee. On Nov. 6, McCartney plays a one-night gig at The Pinnacle, a new concert hall in Music City operated by live entertainment giant and Got Back tour promoter AEG Presents. The room reaches capacity at 4,500 people, making it one of the most intimate venues booked on a McCartney tour in recent memory (not including pop-up shows or impromptu gigs). The Pinnacle opened in February 2025, since hosting multi-night shows with Jack White, Jason Isbell and Eric Church, among others. Still, bringing McCartney to Nashville is a 'defining moment' for the room, said Mike DuCharme, regional vice president at AEG Presents. It's going to be a very special intimate evening and I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it.' McCartney kicks off his Got Back tour Sept. 29 in Palm Desert, California. Stops include Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Coors Field in Denver, two nights at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and two nights at United Center in Chicago. In 2013, he headlined Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in nearby Manchester, Tennessee. Despite only a handful of performances in the area, the famed songwriter's history with Nashville dates back five decades. Dion Brant Named President and CEO of AEG Presents Asia Pacific

Watford Colosseum taken on by new owners following refurbishment
A theatre that is undergoing a £16m refurbishment has been handed over to its new Presents UK officially took over the Watford Colosseum in Hertfordshire from Watford Borough Council following the completion of building Homer, CEO of AEG Presents UK, said: "This venue has huge potential, and we're confident it will attract incredible talent and become a much-loved home for live entertainment in the region."After additional work, the theatre was expected to open in August with a gig by Ocean Colour Scene and special guest P.P. The refurbishment was part of the Town Hall Quarter regeneration project by the local authority, working alongside Morgan Sindall part of the refurbishment, a new stage was installed, the bar area was revamped, accessibility improvements were made, and the original main entrance was Presents UK will fit lighting, add furnishings and install equipment under the next phase of Homer added: "The council's investment has created a brilliant venue that blends heritage with modern capability, and we're excited to begin the fit-out process." Hint Or Typo? G-DRAGON's IG Post Caption Sparks Rumours Of Another Concert In KL
The fiasco surrounding G-DRAGON's (지드래곤) upcoming concert in Kuala Lumpur continues, with more accusations levelled against the concert organiser. However, amidst the issue, there are now rumours that the global star is adding another show to the tour's KL leg. If you haven't been keeping up with the news, BIGBANG (빅뱅) leader G-DRAGON is embarking on his 'Ubermensch' world tour. He will perform at Axiata Arena next month, on 19th and 20th July (Saturday and Sunday). Unfortunately, the concert has been facing issues surrounding the ticketing process, with allegations that concert organiser StarPlanet has been selling tickets to insiders and foreigners. However, fans' attention recently shifted following the announcement of the tour's Phase 3 dates, which include stops in the United States and Europe. After announcing Phase 3, G-DRAGON quietly updated the captions for his previous Instagram post on 'Ubermensch' Phase 1 and 2. While the captions mostly remained the same, some eagle-eyed fans noticed the KL stop had an additional date. As shown in the screenshot, G-DRAGON listed the dates for his KL shows as 'JUL. 18 – 20 AXIATA ARENA', sparking rumours that he's adding another show on 18th July 2025 (Friday). Understandably, fans got excited over this revelation, with many thanking him in the comments for adding another date. However, some VIPs (BIGBANG fans) were doubtful, even wondering if the 'POWER' star had made a typo. Concert organisers StarPlanet and AEG Presents have yet to announce the new show. However, when contacted by a local news outlet, StarPlanet said to wait for official news, hinting that a third show is very likely. There also seems to be no correction on G-DRAGON's Instagram caption, further cementing the rumours. In the meantime, Star Planet recently announced that ticket sales for restricted view seats will begin on 19th June 2025 (Thursday). If the rumours are true, we hope the ongoing ticket issue will be resovled by the time sales for the third show go live.
