Trump dismisses reports US is weighing up to $30 billion civilian nuclear deal for Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday dismissed media reports that said his administration had discussed possibly helping Iran access as much as $30 billion to build a civilian-energy-producing nuclear program. CNN reported on Thursday and NBC News reported on Friday that the Trump administration in recent days had explored possible economic incentives for Iran in return for its government halting uranium enrichment. The reports cited sources. CNN cited officials as saying that several proposals were floated and were preliminary. "Who in the Fake News Media is the SleazeBag saying that 'President Trump wants to give Iran $30 Billion to build non-military Nuclear facilities.' Never heard of this ridiculous idea," Trump wrote on Truth Social late on Friday, calling the reports a "HOAX." Since April, Iran and the U.S. have held indirect talks aimed at finding a new diplomatic solution regarding Iran's nuclear program. Tehran says its program is peaceful and Washington says it wants to ensure Iran cannot build a nuclear weapon. Iran is a party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, while Israel is not. The U.N. nuclear watchdog, which carries out inspections in Iran, has said it has "no credible indication" of an active, coordinated weapons programme in Iran.

A social media influencer was arrested on Tuesday after reportedly threatening podcaster Joe Rogan and challenging him to a 'fight.' According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Brian Johnson, known as the social media influencer 'Liver King,' was arrested on Tuesday evening by law enforcement officials and charged with making a terroristic threat after appearing to threaten Rogan and challenging him to a 'fight' in multiple videos on social media. TMZ reported that Rogan told police officials that he viewed the videos as threats to his safety. In a Monday video on Instagram, Johnson said, 'Joe Rogan, I'm calling you out. My name's Liver King. Man to man, I'm picking a fight with you. I have zero training in jiu-jitsu. You're a black belt, you should dismantle me. But I'm picking a fight with you. Your rules.' According to NBC News, Johnson also challenged Rogan to a 'man to man' fight in another video, saying, 'You never come across something like this, willing to die, hoping that you'll choke me out because that's a dream come true.' TMZ reported that police records indicate that Rogan issued a statement to law enforcement officials following the public threats and challenges. Rogan reportedly told police that he had never been in contact with Johnson and did not know why he would 'be targeting him.' The outlet noted that Rogan also accused the social media influencer of being 'significantly unstable' and having 'a significant drug issue.' According to TMZ, Johnson reportedly traveled from Willis, Texas, to Austin, Texas, which is where Rogan lives. The outlet noted that law enforcement officials arrested Johnson at a hotel on Tuesday night. A video shared on Instagram appears to show the social media influencer in police custody on Tuesday. According to Fox News, Johnson was released from a Texas jail after his arrest on Tuesday night. The outlet noted that the social media influencer immediately returned to publishing videos on social media on Wednesday. According to TMZ, Johnson became known as 'Liver King' after building a major social media following as a fitness influencer. Fox News reported that Johnson is known for his animalistic diet. LA home reportedly owned by Brad Pitt ransacked by burglars, police say

By ITZEL LUNA Police are investigating a break-in at a home reportedly owned by Brad Pitt, who has been on a globe-spanning promo tour for his new movie, 'F1.' The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they responded to a break-in Wednesday night at a house on the 2300 block of North Edgemont Street in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. Three suspects broke into the residence through the front window, ransacked the home and fled with miscellaneous property, said Officer Drake Madison. Madison said he could not identify who owned or lived in the home, and no information is currently available on what was stolen. Pitt reportedly bought the home for $5.5 million in April 2023, according to Traded, a commercial real estate website. A Pitt representative declined comment. Pitt has been out of the country on a promotional tour for the 'F1' movie. He attended the international premiere in London on Monday. The movie opened in U.S. theaters Friday.
