Horse racing tips – Friday March 7: Leicester
There are five horse racing meetings across the UK and Ireland today. Three National Hunt cards from Exeter (2.10-5.22pm), Leicester (2.20-5.02) and Ayr (2.30-5.10) make up the afternoon programme, followed by all-weather Flat fixtures at Dundalk (4.55-8.30) and Newcastle (5.15-8.15).

4.28 Leicester – Handicap Chase (2m)
SMART CASUAL is today's pick and he can right the wrongs of his previous two runs, in both of which he was a beaten favourite.
The well-advertised form of his third-placed finish at Hereford in November earned him that status, multiple winners coming from that two-mile race. The first and fifth home – Paddy in the Caddy and Dunstall Rambler – fought out a tight finish yesterday at Wincanton off marks that were 10lb and 6lb higher respectively. However, Smart Casual remains on the same mark he had in November.
Trainer Anthony Honeyball fits the horse with new headgear today to encourage the win, having swerved another race yesterday to ensure regular rider Richie McLernon can ride the selection.
The favourite You Say Nothing is a danger here. He is 19lb below his penultimate winning mark despite recording another victory last time out, but at the age of 10 there's no guarantee he will be able to reproduce that level of run again.
