Kara David, Vince Maristela rib Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo over 'wedding' look in GMA Gala 2025
On social media, the award-winning broadcast journalist shared a snap of herself with her fellow Kapampangans Brent and Mika from the gala night on Saturday.
"Kapampangan represent! Brent is from Capas, Tarlac. Mika is from Angeles. And I'm from Betis," Kara wrote.
She jokingly said she looked like a godmother at Mika and Brent's wedding, who wore matching white ensembles.
"Parang ninang sa kasal ang atake ko dito. Hahaha," Kara said.
Meanwhile, Vince—whom fans jokingly said looked like a priest — joined in on the fun by posting a selfie with the two PBB Big Winners, captioned: "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you—"
Mika and Brent were each other's date during the star-studded event held at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.
The Kapamilya star previously asked Mika to be his date in the star-studded event by sending a bouquet of flowers and a simple note to his duo.
Mika and Brent were among the popular love teams that emerged from Bahay ni Kuya. They started as the MEnt duo, and their growing closeness caught the eye of netizens, who began shipping them, giving rise to their fan ship name: MikBrent.

David Licauco and Jillian Ward are not worried about building their chemistry in their upcoming series "Never Say Die" despite their large age gap. In an interview with GMA News Online on the sidelines of the GMA Gala 2025, the Pambansang Ginoo admitted initially feeling a little uncertain about their tandem. "To be honest with you, the first thing na naisip ko is babagay kaya? 'Di ba, to be completely honest," he said.
