And if you love ordering a cheeky takeaway from the popular chain, you might not want to chuck those boxes away. Spilling the beans on the platform, the TikToker first urged foodies to download the Wagamama app on their mobile devices. ''Once you download the app and sign up a new account, you'll get a free voucher for either edamame or prawn crackers,'' he said in the video. ''You can redeem these with your main.'' The cheapest mains, according to their new menu, start from just £10 - and by adding the free side, you'll make them more filling. The savvy foodie went on to reveal another easy hack to bag a free side. ''If you have one of these Wagamama takeaway boxes, all you need to do is just bring it in. I'd heard brilliant things about Too Good to Go so spent £4.40 on an Asda bag - it was an epic fail, I can't eat it all ''The staff will let you know that you can actually trade this for a side. ''Then they will give you one of these vouchers.'' With this voucher, he said, bargain-hunting foodies can claim the free side on the same day or during their next visit to the beloved chain. ''You can trade it in for a free side as long as you buy a main. ''Combine both offers - the one on the app and the one for the free side - and then all you need to do is just buy the main and then you'll get two free sides.'' BILL'S: Dine in at a Bill's restaurant to get up to two free kids' meals (normally £6.95 each) with an adult meal. Valid weekdays only until August 30. IKEA: Make it a food day at the Swedish home store. On every day except Fridays, enjoy a pit stop at their famous cafe from 11am to get a kids' pasta or mac and cheese dish for 95p. Other mini meals are available for £1.50. PIZZA EXPRESS: Kids up to age ten can get a free three-course Piccolo meal including dough balls, pizza or pasta and dessert with every adult meal purchased. The offer runs every day until August 11. TESCO: Pop to the supermarket cafe from Monday to Friday until August 30 for free kids' meals when an adult buys any item in the cafe. You must have a Clubcard to redeem the offer. THE RANGE: Kids under 16 get one free meal per adult main purchased at The Range cafes. Options include sandwiches, a cooked breakfast and fish and chips. All kids' meals come with a piece of fruit and a drink. Site closure However, if you live in Manchester, you won't be able to enjoy this epic offer - as its Spinningfields location has shut its doors after two decades of serving up fan-favourite dishes, we reported in February. The chain first opened the Spinningfields site in August 2005, making it the second Wagamama restaurant in the city. The venue, located in Spinningfields Square opposite Rosa's Thai, is now listed as permanently closed on the chain's website. A message told customers: 'We're now closed at this location. but don't worry, you can still get your favourites at the nearby St Peter's Square or Printworks restaurants.' A spokesperson for Wagamama confirmed the decision, stating: 'Given there are already two other wagamama restaurants in Manchester, guests are being directed to the two other sites to either wagamama Printworks or wagamama St Peters Square.' The spokesperson also hinted at potential future expansions, adding: 'We are always looking for suitable sites in and around the area.' Despite the closure, Wagamama continues to operate across more than 170 locations across the country, including Greater Manchester locations in the Trafford Centre, Didsbury, and Salford's MediaCity.

Trump to start TikTok sale talks with China, he says, with deal ‘pretty much' reached
Donald Trump has said he will start talking to China on Monday or Tuesday about a possible TikTok deal. The United States president said the US 'pretty much' had a deal on the sale of the TikTok short-video app. 'I think we're gonna start Monday or Tuesday ... talking to China – perhaps President Xi or one of his representatives – but we would, we pretty much have a deal,' Trump told reporters on Air Force One on Friday. Trump also said he might visit Xi Jinping in China or the Chinese leader may visit the US. The two leaders last month invited each other to visit their respective countries. Trump last month also extended a deadline to 17 September for China-based ByteDance to divest the US assets of TikTok, a social media app with 170 million users in the US. A deal had been in the works this spring to spin off TikTok's US operations into a new US-based firm, majority-owned and operated by US investors, but it was put on hold after China indicated it would not approve it following Trump's announcements of steep tariffs on Chinese goods. Trump said on Friday the US would probably have to get a deal approved by China. Asked how confident he was that Beijing would agree to a deal, he said: 'I'm not confident, but I think so. President Xi and I have a great relationship, and I think it's good for them. I think the deal is good for China and it's good for us.' Trump's June extension was his third executive order to delay the ban or sale of TikTok and gave ByteDance another 90 days to find a buyer or be banned in the US. Trump's first executive order giving TikTok a reprieve came on his first day in office – just three days after the supreme court ruled to uphold the ban. Trump issued the second executive order in April. The deadline for the sale or ban was then set for 19 June. Now, TikTok has until September. In a statement issued the same day, TikTok thanked Trump and JD Vance. 'We are grateful for President Trump's leadership', the statement said, and TikTok would 'continue to work with Vice President Vance's Office' to come to an agreement. Democratic senator Mark Warner, vice-chair of the Senate intelligence committee, accused Trump of sidestepping the law with an executive order. With reporting by Dara Kerr
