Motocross 2025 250 results, highlights, finish at Fox Raceway: Haiden Deegan begins title defense perfectly
This is Deegan's eighth Motocross win. After last year's Fox Nationals, Deegan won two of the next three rounds and finished second once. He swept the top five during the season.

With second-place results in each moto, Jo Shimoda finished second overall to earn his first SuperMotocross podium since winning the Monster Energy Supercross opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. Shimoda showed flashes of speed in the 2024 outdoor season to earn three podiums in nine Nationals.
Tom Vialle finished fourth in Moto 1 and third in the second race to land third overall on the grid. Vialle did not get a strong start in either race, but showed an ability to assemble the full event. That will come in handy during the next 10 weeks.

Chance Hymas was the fastest 250 rider in the morning, bumping Deegan from the top qualification spot on the final lap of the second session. He got a great start to Moto 1 before scoring an impressive podium finish of third in that race. Hymas faded to sixth in the second race and settled for fourth overall.
Julien Beaumer logged his first laps led in the second moto of the Fox Nationals before fading to finish just off the podium in fourth. That improved one position over his Moto 1 result and placed him fifth overall. He still has a lot ground to make up on Deegan in the SuperMotocross standings with 20 races remaining in 10 rounds.

Levi Kitchen entered Round 1 with a lot of attention after scoring solid runs in the 2024 Motocross championship. He failed to live up to the hype in Moto 1 with a modest 10th-place finish, and when his engine expired in Moto 2, he failed to earn any additional points for a 38th-place result.
Another potential challenger, Austin Forkner, fared worse. He was the first retiree in Moto 1 and finished one position out of the points in Moto 2 with a 22nd.
In his professional debut, Alexander Fedortsov narrowly missed earning points in the first moto with a 22nd and earned three for his 19th-place finish in Moto 2. He was scored 22nd overall.

Three for Temmerman, Enzo scores third win in 250 Pro Sport Moto 2
Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green's Enzo Temmerman won his third moto of the 2025 Loretta Lynn's Amateur National by holding off Husqvarna's Landon Gibson in Moto 2 of the 250 Pro Sport division. After winning the first two motos of his campaign, Temmerman executed his worst start and completed Lap 1 in third. Early-race speed has been the trademark of Temmerman so far in 2025, but in his second race on Wednesday, it took until Lap 5 for him to post his fastest lap of the afternoon of 1:54.101; that was also the fastest lap of the moto, giving him a sweep of fast times in addition to his winning streak. Dan Beaver, More importantly, the fast lap allowed him to leapfrog his teammate Landen Gordon and Kade Johnson to take the lead. Gordon earned the holeshot with Temmerman alongside him, but Johnson was the rider who made the most of the first lap and emerged as the leader. He held the top spot until Lap 5 when Gordon passed Johnson and Temmerman passed them both. Once in the lead, Temmerman maintained control of the race and cruised to a 7.4-second lead. The Visalia, California, native moved to 3-0 on the week with consecutive 250 Pro Sports wins entering the third and deciding moto, which will be held on Friday. Temmerman's 1-1 results in the first two motos easily outpaced Gibson's 3-2 and Gordon's 2-4. Johnson held on for the final podium spot in Moto 2, but coupled with a seventh-place finish in Moto 1, he is a distant fifth in the standings. Enzo Temmerman wins Open Pro Sport Moto 1 at Loretta Lynn's National
For the second consecutive race, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green's Enzo Temmerman and Diesel Thomas battled at the start of a moto, with Temmerman emerging victorious over Landen Gordon in Moto 1 of the Open Pro Sports division of the Loretta Lynn's Amateur National. As with Temmerman's 250 Pro Sport victory on Tuesday, the key to success was early speed. He won the holeshot, momentarily lost the lead to Diesel Thomas, and then posted the fastest overall lap during his third trip around the circuit to amass a nine-second lead over Thomas. Once in the lead, he settled into a comfortable pace and let the drama unfold behind him. Dan Beaver, Gordon overcame a modest start that saw him fifth at the end of Lap 1, climbing to third on Lap 5 and assuming the runner-up position on Lap 10. Gordon maintained Temmerman's pace and took the checkered flag 8.4 seconds behind his teammate. WMX leader Lachlan Turner wins first Women's moto at the Loretta Lynn's Nationals
Women's Pro Motocross (WMX) leader Lachlan Turner led the 10-lap Women's Moto 1 at the Loretta Lynn's Amateur Nationals to begin her quest for a first Women's divisional title. Despite failing to win the Women's division in the prestigious event, Turner is the reigning Girls champion. More impressively, she won last year's WMX title in the first year of the series' return. The only thing keeping the day from being perfect on Wednesday at the Loretta's was Turner's failure to get the holeshot. That honor went to Jaelyn Wishon, who retired with two laps remaining to finish 40th. Dan Beaver, Once in the lead, Turner was never challenged. She had a five-second advantage over the field at the end of the first lap and steadily increased it until she finished more than 30 seconds ahead of Kyleigh Stallings, who is currently fourth in WMX points. Stallings started the race third behind Turner and Jordan Jarvis, but moved into second on Lap 2. And while Jarvis could not get around Stallings, the two were in close contact throughout the middle of the moto, often separated by one second. Stallings won the contest and finished in second place. Jarvis rounded out the podium in third. Fourth-place Mayla Herrick and Mila Baltyk rounded out the top five. Moto 2 for Women is scheduled for Thursday.
