The 73-year-old required urgent medical attention. He is now said to be "doing well", with Bild reporting that the former West Germany international was cleared to leave hospital on Saturday evening.

Hoeness was taken ill on the golf course at Miel Castle, which is situated around 270 miles from Munich. The charity event in question was hosted by Timotheus Hottges, the CEO of Telekom - a key sponsor of Bundesliga champions Bayern.

Bayer Leverkusen enquire about French defender Loïc Badé
According to , the 2023-24 Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have made an enquiry to Sevilla FC about Loïc Badé (25). There are reportedly several clubs interested in the former RC Lens defender, who joined the La Liga club in January 2023.
