Report: John Cena's Final Scheduled WWE Opponent Revealed
Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena doesn't have many appearances left on his retirement tour. With this career winding down in the months ahead, it won't be long until we reach December, where Cena will have his final wrestling match.
Several potential names have been brought up over the past year about who Cena's final opponent might be. But a new report has shed light on who Cena's final opponent is scheduled to be.
According to WRKD Wrestling, Gunther is currently scheduled to be Cena's final opponent. Tweeting out the following message following Saturday Night's Main Event this evening:
'Goldberg isn't the last person that Gunther hopes to retire. Gunther is currently planned as John Cena's final opponent,' WRKD Wrestling said in a post.
Reports have suggested that Cena's final match will take place in Boston. This would be very similar to Goldberg's final match taking place tonight in Atlanta. The common thread of Gunther being the one to retire both men is certainly an interesting angle. We'll see how this plays out in the months ahead.
