According to Tahsildar Pandu 61 applications were received – 36 from Chennuru and 25 from Jayanna Thirumalapur.
The applications included: succession: 18, missing survey: 2, pending mutation: 1, digital signature: 1, extent variation: 2, name correction: 5, Part B: 1, assigned patta: 3, others: 28 The Collector emphasised the need to resolve as many applications as possible on the spot and instructed notices related to succession cases be issued immediately. He directed that a Mee-Seva staff member be stationed with a system to quickly process the family members' supporting documents. RDO Subrahmanyam, tahsildar Raju, DT Tilak Reddy, and other revenue staff accompanied the collector.

Minister directs Collectors to ensure only eligible get Indiramma houses
Hyderabad: Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday directed the Collectors remove from the list of Indiramma Indlu beneficiaries, if anyone is found 'ineligible', even as the construction has already begun and in halfway mark. He said that the scheme should cover only those who are deserving. During a review meeting on Indiramma Indlu and Bhu Bharati with Collectors of eight districts in the Secretariat, the Minister said that the responsibility of effectively implementing the two schemes which fulfills the dreams of the poor, and ensuring that its results reach the poor, lies with the Collectors. He said that there is a need for continuous work by the district collectors to successfully implement these two schemes, which have been formulated in accordance with the thoughts and aspirations of the people. 'The people of Telangana have entrusted us with the utmost faith that if the Indiramma government is formed, the land problems faced in the state in the last ten years will be solved and the dream of owning a house will be fulfilled. Without betraying their faith and trust, we have launched the Bhu Bharati Act and the Indiramma Housing Scheme to provide a permanent solution to the land problems in the state, as per the ideas of the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy,' the Minister said.

'Law is the first step, but real success is in its implementation,' Ponguleti tells Collectors
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the responsibility lay on the district Collectors in effectively implementing the Bhu Bharati Act and Indiramma Indlu housing scheme to ensure that their benefits reach the poorest sections of society. Chairing a review meeting at the Secretariat with collectors from eight districts, Nirmal, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal, Mulugu, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mancherial, and Wanaparthi, the Minister described collectors as 'guides and torchbearers' for these transformative welfare schemes introduced by the government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. 'The Indiramma government came to power with the promise of resolving land issues and realising the dream of housing for the underprivileged. We must not betray the people's trust. Law is the first step and the real success lies in its implementation,' the Minister said. He urged the Collectors to prioritise resolution of applications submitted during the Bhubharathi Revenue Meetings and ensure citizen-friendly governance. 'The common man visiting a revenue office should leave satisfied. That's the benchmark,' he added. With regard to 'Indiramma Indlu' housing scheme, the Minister assured that the government would release funds every Monday, regardless of financial constraints. He wanted the Collectors to expedite three levels of processes — identification of beneficiaries, sanctioning of houses and monitoring of construction progress. 'Monitoring at the field level is crucial. These are flagship programmes of the Telangana government and must be implemented with integrity. If any house is found to be allotted to an ineligible beneficiary, do not hesitate to cancel it even during construction,' he said. The Minister also reiterated that the government was providing 40 metric tonnes of sand free of cost for each sanctioned house. Further, he directed that district-level price control committees be formed immediately to regulate the prices of steel, cement and bricks used in housing construction.

Bhu Bharati Act brings overhaul: Telangana sees 10 lakh grievances; 3.27 lakh registered online
HYDERABAD: Revenue minister Ponguleti SrinivasReddy on Saturday said the Congress govt is overhauling the revenue administration, which had deteriorated during the BRS's decade-long rule. He said that the Bhu Bharati Act, aimed at providing lasting solutions to long-pending land disputes in Telangana, is being implemented with seriousness and has already brought a positive shift in the system. At a review meeting with senior officials on the successful completion of revenue meets (sadassulu) across the state, the minister said over 10 lakh land-related applications were received across three phases. Between June 3 and 20, revenue meets were held in 10,239 villages across 561 mandals, during which eight lakh more applications were received. In all, 10,725 sadassulu were conducted in 593 mandals, with 8.58 lakh applications submitted. 'In the first phase, held from April 17 to 30, around 12,000 applications were submitted through 72 sadassulu across four mandals. In the second phase, which began on May 5, over 46,000 applications were collected through 414 meetings in 28 mandals. Over 60% of those issues have been resolved, excluding sadabainama cases,' he said. Sadabainama refers to a land transaction, where land ownership is recorded only on paper. Khammam district received the highest number of applications at 67,000, followed by Bhadradri Kothagudem (61,000), Warangal (54,000), Jayashankar Bhupalpally (48,000), and Nalgonda (42,000). The minister said free application forms were distributed a day prior in villages, and special teams were deployed under the supervision of tahsildars. So far, 3.27 lakh applications have been registered online, and officials have been instructed to expedite the remaining cases.
