Orlando Bloom enjoys wholesome beach break with daughter Daisy after bizarre rumor he's romancing world leader amid Katy Perry split

Daily Mail13 hours ago
Orlando Bloom shared a glimpse into his wholesome beach break with daughter Daisy on Instagram on Monday after bizarre rumor he's romancing a world leader.
The actor, 48, looked happy as he spent quality time with his four-year-old little girl, who he shares with ex-fiancée Katy Perry, who he split from in June this year after nine years together.
The Lord of the Rings star looked ever the doting dad as he carried Daisy into the ocean to go swimming.
In another picture, the father and daughter duo were joined by a male friend and a young boy as they soaked up the sun on a patio overlooking the ocean before heading to the beach with a bucket and spade.
Orlando, who was dressed in a black jumper and shorts, beamed as he tickled his little girl as she sat on his knee.
Taking in the picturesque sunset, Orlando captured Daisy running along the beach flying a large kite.
Elsewhere in the gallery of photos, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor sat in a blue car with his adorable pet pooch before taking in the sites on a bike ride.
He wrote: 'some fun being had [sun emoji]'
It comes after Orlando reacted to a bizarre claim that he is romancing a world leader just days after his ex Katy sparked up romance rumors with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Last week, Katy was seen enjoying a dinner date with Justin in Montreal amid her Lifetimes Tour. And sources have since stated that the pair had an 'instant connection' and are 'interested in each other.'
On Friday, the satirical news site The Onion poked fun at the romance speculation by sharing a seemingly AI photo on Instagram of her ex Orlando on a date with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
He appeared to understand the reference and playfully jumped to the comment section to add clapping hand emojis.
The caption of the post read: 'Just weeks after announcing his split with fiancée Katy Perry, English actor Orlando Bloom was photographed Friday dining with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
'"Angela kept Orlando laughing all night - he couldn't keep his eyes off her!" said an insider source who spotted the pair sipping wine, slurping oysters, and splitting a decadent piece of chocolate layer cake at a Michelin-starred restaurant.'
In the seemingly AI-generated image, the Hollywood star and Angela could be seen sitting at a candlelit table inside a fancy eatery.
The original photo showed Justin at a restaurant with Angela as well as Christoph Heusgen in Berlin in 2016.
Last week, Katy and Justin were seen enjoying dinner at Le Violon in Montreal amidst the Canadian leg of her Lifetime Tour.
In video obtained by DailyMail.com, the pair took part in a lighthearted conversation as they sat across from each other as they dined at the eatery.
At one point, the mom-of-one held a small smile on her face as she listened to what Justin was saying.
Two days later, the former Canadian Prime Minister - who announced his resignation earlier this year in January - was also spotted at her Montreal concert on Wednesday at the Bell Centre.
It comes two years after his split from ex-wife Sophie Gregoire in August 2023. The former couple are also parents to three children.
Katy and Orlando's separation came to light in June following their engagement in 2019 and birth of their daughter the following year.

A source told People in an article published on Saturday that the pair 'are interested in each other, but it will take a while to see where this goes.
'She is traveling around the world, and he is figuring out his life now that he is no longer prime minister of Canada, but there is an attraction. They have a lot in common.'
Aside from both having a passion for music, the insider added that they 'are idealists and still live in a world where they think they can make improvements, although it has gotten more difficult.'
While Katy and Justin are juggling their 'own personal responsibilities,' a long-distance relationship could be a possibility for the two.
A separate source also told the outlet that Justin 'is a [politician] who is used to living a secret life with his personal activity, and wouldn't put on a public display at this stage.
'He knows they were being watched and is smart enough to play it low-key for now. [The] timing seems good for them, although a romance is in very early stages.'
However, another source recently told DailyMail.com that the pair's dinner outing was simply 'a get together.'
'She hasn't told anyone it was anything more, and she usually wears her heart on her sleeve, so if something were happening, she'd let her close friends know. But right now it is nothing more than friendship.'
Two days later, the former Canadian Prime Minister - who announced his resignation earlier this year in January - was also spotted at her Montreal concert on Wednesday at the Bell Centre; seen in April in Mexico City
Following her split from Orlando, the singer 'isn't ready to start dating anyone right now' and is instead focusing on 'healing' from the separation.
'Could that change? Obviously, but the ball is in Katy's court right now. No relationship so far.'
Another insider stated that Katy and Justin first met at an event and that their dinner date this week was only 'a hangout.'
'They met at an event and they have had some good conversations. They text each other, it seems to be very friendly and nothing more at the moment.
'It could develop, of course, but it's not anything more than two single people who had dinner together and like to talk.'
The source further explained that Katy 'literally just became single five minutes ago and they haven't even separated all of their stuff yet. She's not going to fall in love with someone new so quickly.'
In late June, it was revealed that Katy and Orlando officially called it quits after dating for nine years.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly: 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' while also adding that the separation has been 'not contentious' thus far.
'Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.'
The Teenage Dream hitmaker was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.
The insider further added that the reported breakup had been 'a long time coming' and that their relationship had also been 'tense for months.'
And representatives for the two stars also confirmed to DailyMail.com: 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.
'They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.'
In the wake of the separation, Orlando also flew to Venice to attend the star-studded nuptials between Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.
The actor was spotted mingling with a number of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Sydney Sweeney.
The former couple reunited last month in July for a mini reunion in Italy amidst a break in her Lifetimes Tour.
The pair were seen spending time along the Amalfi Coast - and were also accompanied by daughter Daisy, four. Orlando is also father to teenage son Flynn, 14 - whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
During the trip, Orlando jumped to his Instagram page to share photos that had captured memorable moments. One image was taken as he joined Katy for a relaxing boat ride at sunset with their daughter Daisy and his son Flynn.
Afterwards, the singer resumed her concerts - and had an emotional moment during her L.A. stop.
She seemingly referenced to her recent separation from the actor before singing the heartbreak track Not Like the Movies which had been requested by fans.

The Block's Dan and Dani Reilly break down while sharing heartbreaking family tragedy

There was barely a dry eye in the house on Monday's episode of The Block as Dan Reilly opened up about his heartbreaking family tragedy. The series foreman kicked off the episode's pre-start meeting with wife Dani, who broke down as they spoke for the first time on television about the loss of their daughter, Billie. The reality TV couple tragically lost their daughter in December last year at just ten days old. 'I guess most people here would know our journey last year. We had our little girl, Billie – she arrived on the eighth of the twelfth last year,' Dan told the assembled cast and crew. 'Due to some... complications through birth we only got to spend ten days with our beautiful girl, Billie.' As the mood became more sombre, Dani continued: 'So, we're actually very grateful for those ten days – her time was spent in the NICU department at the Women's Hospital in Melbourne.' He was quick to praise the NICU staff, with Dani echoing his sentiments. 'Unfortunately, it didn't end in the way that it should have for us, but our time there, as Dan said, was really with Billie,' Dani said. 'Getting to know the nurses and doctors will be probably one of the things that we remember forever.' Dan then added that he and Dani were on a 'mission' to raise funds and awareness for NICUs around the country as well as Red Nose Australia. 'Their support for us has been absolutely amazing and they guide you through something that nobody should ever have to go through.' Dani added: 'And we're grateful for The Block for giving us the platform to be able to raise awareness for these organisations that were there for us.' To honour their daughter's memory, Dan and Dani have established Billie's Besties, a foundation that aims to raise money for the NICU at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. The couple struggled to hold back tears as they recounted the harrowing story, and tenderly embraced as the teams also became visibly emotional. Since December, the couple has raised more than $93,000 for NICU support as a tribute to Billie. The reality TV couple took to Instagram in December to share the devastating news that their daughter, Billie Vera Reilly, had passed away on Wednesday at just 10 days old. They posted a photograph of themselves with their arms around one another as they stood beside their daughter's cot in hospital. In a heartbreaking tribute, Dani shared her 'insurmountable' grief and said she and Dan both felt 'honoured' to be Billie's parents. They wrote: 'Billie Vera Reilly 8/12/24 - 18/12/24. It is with insurmountable grief that we share the news that our daughter Billie, has passed on from this life and into the next at just 10 days young. 'In Billie's short time in this world, she taught us an intensity of both love and pain we never knew possible. She taught us what really matters. 'Billie was so wanted, so loved and she made us parents… and what an honour it is to be her mummy and daddy. She will always be our daughter. 'It's clear to us that Billie was far too good for this world but if we know anything for sure, it's that Billie's legacy will make an impact greater than all of us. 'Thank you @mrskevinsphotos for capturing such beautiful family photos for us and also for @heartfelt_ausnz for capturing many of Billie's firsts.' The couple first hit national attention when they appeared on the 2012 series of The Block. The pair, who were dating at the time, took out second place honours and a profit of $448,000. The pair returned in 2013 for The Block All Stars series, walking away with third place and a profit of $220,000. Dan has since taken on a role as foreman on the show and they also host the Dan vs Dani series, critiquing each team's Room Reveals every week. The couple tied the knot in 2018 in an intimate ceremony on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.

Julia Roberts ' husband Danny Moder had a proud dad moment on Monday as he shared a video of their son Phinnaeus skateboarding. The 56-year-old father-of-three used Instagram to share a slow-motion clip of their 20-year-old effortlessly gliding on a ramp. Danny — who celebrated his 23rd wedding anniversary with Julia, 57, on July 4 — captioned the clip: 'Who likes butter?' In addition to Phinnaeus, the longtime married couple also share Finn's twin sister Hazel and their 18-year-old son Henry. She shared a throwback image from his childhood and added the note, 'In the blink of a joyful eye this beacon of a boy is 18. I love you Henry. #goldenboy #goldenbirthday.' Happy Birthday!!!!' Julia recently unveiled a fresh look when new images from her upcoming movie After The Hunt were shared online. She traded her ginger head of curls for a long blonde bob as she transformed into character as Alma Olsson. The film, in theaters October 10, also stars Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Chloë Sevigny. From director Luca Guadagnino, an official synopsis describes the project as 'a gripping psychological drama about a college professor (Julia) who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star student (Ayo) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Andrew), and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come into the light.' Fans can also expect to see the Hollywood vet in another forthcoming movie called Panic Carefully. Described as a paranoid thriller, filming began earlier this year in England. Julia's costars include Elizabeth Olsen, Eddie Redmayne and Brian Tyree Henry. There have also been reports that Roberts will appear alongside Jennifer Aniston in a body-swap comedy for Amazon Studios. Palm Springs director Max Barbakow is behind the feature, which was shopped around to four studios before landing at Amazon.

Hulk Hogan 'begged for forgiveness' in tearful final conversation with daughter Brooke before his death at 71

In the days before his passing from a heart attack at age 71, WWE superstar Hulk Hogan was able to reconcile with his estranged daughter, Brooke. After years of no contact between the father and daughter, the 37-year-old Brooke was able to reach out to her dad. According to the National Enquirer, the two shared a short but heartfelt conversation on July 25. Five days later, Hogan passed away at his home in Florida. 'It was a tearful conversation, albeit a short one,' an insider told the outlet. 'Brooke told her dad how much she loved him, how much she missed him. Hulk said he loved her, and he was sorry. 'That was huge for Brooke to hear. Everyone knew how stubborn Hulk could be, but his fading health obviously softened him up. He knew he was dying and begged her forgiveness.' Five days after the news of Hogan's death was announced, Brooke posted a long message on Instagram clarifying their relationship. 'My father and I never 'fought,' she wrote. 'It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand.' Brooke revealed she had felt her father starting to pull away - saying he no longer wanted support or advice from her, despite his health issues. Hogan revealed he had 25 surgeries in the last decade - including 10 back operations, replacements on his knee and hip, and procedures on both shoulders. 'We'd been through almost 25 surgeries together, and all of a sudden he didn't want me at surgeries,' Brooke said. 'But even when they weren't speaking, she cared about him and worried about him,' a source told the outlet. 'The important thing is, when he passed away, they were okay again.' 'Brooke can't help the current state her family is in right now, but she can go on knowing her dad loved her and there was peace between them before he died.'
