Anupam Kher Celebrates International Yoga Day At Times Square: ‘My Privilege And Honour'

On International Yoga Day, Anupam Kher was seen doing yoga with people at Times Square, New York. He called the experience 'wonderful'.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who is currently in New York, expressed his pride for representing India at the 11th International Yoga Day held at the Times Square in the Big Apple.
Anupam took to Instagram, where he shared a string of videos and pictures from the International Yoga Day at Times Square on Saturday early morning.
In one video, Anupam is heard saying: 'Namaste, it's so wonderful to see Yoga being performed In this most iconic place in the world. I've grown up seeing my grandfather doing yoga… Yoga not only is great for our physical health but also for our mental health. And it was a great initiative."
In other images and clips, the actor too is seen doing yoga with people at Time Square.

The International Day of Yoga is a day in recognition of Yoga that is celebrated around the world annually on 21 June following its adoption by the United Nations in 2014. The initiative for Yoga Day was taken by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his 2014 UN.
The actor travelled to New York for the grand premiere of his upcoming directorial 'Tanvi The Great" organized by the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) and the IAAC.
He had said that the New York premiere is on the 19th, the Austin premiere on the 21st, and Houston on the 22nd.
Talking about 'Tanvi The Great", the film is set to release on July 18. On May 19, he took to Instagram to announce the release date. He also showcased the first poster of the film featuring debutante Shubhangi Dutt.
The film also stars Iain Glen, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nasser, and Shubhangi. Directed by Anupam Kher, the film is produced by Kher Studios and NFDC, in association with Lower Middle Class Corporation.

Shefali Jariwala Laid To Rest At Mumbai's Oshiwara Crematorium
Mumbai: Shefali Jariwala has been laid to rest at Mumbai's Oshiwara Crematorium. Her father, brother, and husband performed her last rites as per Hindu traditions. For the unversed, this is the same place where Sidharth Shukla's final rites took place back in 2021. Shefali and Sidharth were seen together in the thirteenth season of the reality show Bigg Boss. Instagram/Viral Bhayani Shefali and Hindustani Bhau had formed a close bond during their time in the Bigg Boss house. In fact, she even used to tie rakhi to him. Earlier, when Hindustani Bhau visited the RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital where Shefali was taken post her demise, he addressed the media saying, 'She was like my family. More than a sister, she was my child". A lot of members from the fraternity were present at the funeral to pay their last respects. Shefali passed away on the night of June 27 after suffering a cardiac arrest. Official confirmation to be out with postmortem reports. When her husband took her to the hospital, she was declared dead on arrival by the doctors. If there is any foul play or if any complaint is received, we will definitely examine that angle and conduct a thorough inquiry. We cannot speculate at this stage, but if there is any doubt, action will be taken.' Additionally, police have also recorded the statements of eight people in the matter including statements of the family members, servants and the doctor at Bellevue Hospital. While the initial reports suggest that Shefali might have suffered a heart attack, the official cause of death is yet to be shared by the doctors who performed the postmortem.

Neena Gupta has always been a health-conscious eater. She finds peace in enjoying homemade food items and often shares her healthy recipes with her Instagram community. Her recent food indulgence features a roti pizza, made without cheese. Curious? In the clip she shared, she was seen busy buttering a chapati, as she said, ' Achcha humne abhi roti mein lagaya hai, roti banake rakhli thi, makkhan lagaya hai. (The roti was prepared and kept aside. I have applied butter on it.)' The veteran star then continues, ' Aaj hum roti pizza mein aalu ke jagah shakarkandi dalenge matlab sweet potato (Today we will put sweet potato instead of potato in roti pizza),' and documents her entire recipe. Neena's cook also lends a hand by adding black pepper to the preparation while she counts ' thora sa pine nuts yaani chilgoza ' and a little bit of chilly flakes for making the dish even more delicious. At the end, the actor asks her cook to spread butter on the pizza from the top, mentioning, ' Ab hum isko oven mein rakh denge aur upar se thora makkan. Lagao, mere haath mein mirch hai tum hi lagalo haan. Jyada nhi lagana woh ajeeb sa taste aata hai makkhan mein. (Now we will put it in the oven and put some butter on top. Apply it, I have chilli in my hand, you apply it. Do not put too much, it tastes like weird in butter.)' ' Abhi usko oven mein rakh denge, niche upar dono ka karke aur roti ekdum papad jaisi ho jayegi.
