Star Playmaker Has No Words on Major Ohio State Announcement
That's what four-star wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt appeared to believe with a post of a picture without a caption following his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes.

On Sunday, Dixon-Wyatt tweeted a photo of Buckeyes offensive coordinator Brian Hartline. In the picture, Hartline is smiling while holding a cigar.
The wideout had the photo on his X (formerly Twitter) account about an hour after On3's Hayes Fawcett reported Dixon-Wyatt committed to Ohio State.
"The 6'2 180 WR from Oakland, CA chose the Buckeyes over Oregon and Alabama," tweeted Fawcett.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Dixon-Wyatt is the No. 15 receiver in the 2026 recruiting class. The same rankings also have Dixon-Wyatt rated as the No. 15 California prospect and No. 107 overall recruit in the class.

Dixon-Wyatt is considerably higher ranked on the 247Sports-only rankings. On that ranking list, he is the No. 6 receiver and No. 59 overall prospect in the class.
Based on either ratings, the Buckeyes have landed yet another verbal commitment from a highly-touted wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting class.
With Dixon-Wyatt, Ohio State has landed three four-star receivers and a three-star wideout in the 2026 class. The program's current top commitment in the class is Dixon-Wyatt's high school teammate, receiver Chris Henry Jr.
Dixon-Wyatt is Ohio State's No. 3 2026 commitment according to 247Sports.

Local prospect Jaeden Ricketts, who is from Pataskala, Ohio, is the other four-star receiver committed to Ohio State in the 2026 class. Those three stars will join a Buckeyes receiving group next year that will still have star Jeremiah Smith, who isn't eligible to enter the NFL Draft until 2027.
A native of Southlake, Texas, Brock Boyd is the three-star receiver committed to Ohio State in 2026.

Penn State recruiting fireworks coming this holiday weekend?
Penn State could be setting off some recruiting fireworks this July 4th weekend if some of the latest recruiting predictions prove to be accurate. With a couple of recruiting targets expected to announce their college decisions this weekend, Penn State looks to be in good shape for a few more additions to the Class of 2026. The first name to watch on Saturday will be Tyson Harley. Harley is a four-star edge rusher from Gonzaga High School in Washington D.C. At 6'-4" and 210 pounds, Harley has the size that would fit quite well with the Penn State defense, and he has experience at linebacker. 247Sports ranks Harley as the 33rd-best edge rusher in the nation, and he is the second overall recruit out of Washington D.C. All three predictions currently on record at 247Sports favor Penn State for Harley's commitment. The On3 recruiting prediction tool gives Penn State an overwhelming 92.8% chance of receiving Harley's commitment. Harley is scheduled to announce his commitment Saturday evening at about 7:30 p.m. ET. While Penn State is considered the strong favorite to secure his commitment, the other schools reportedly in the mix include Maryland, Rutgers, Michigan State, and Virginia Tech. Penn State could also be on the verge of adding another offensive lineman to the recruiting class as well. Marlen Bright, a three-star tackle from New Jersey, is also expected to announce his college commitment on Saturday. Once again, Penn State is considered the prohibitive favorite as the announcement draws near. The 6'-6" 260-pound offensive tackle from DePaul Catholic in Wayne, New Jersey, is scheduled to announce his decision at about 1:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. The On3 recruiting prediction tool predicts a 96.3% chance that Bright ultimately commits to the Nittany Lions. There are only two official predictions posted to 247Sports, but both are in favor of the Nittany Lions. The only other school thought to be on the radar for Bright may be Illinois, but the odds and trends do seem to favor Penn State over their fellow Big Ten program. Penn State's Class of 2026 currently ranks no. 15 in the nation according to On3 and no. 12 according to 247Sports. Penn State ranks fifth among Big Ten schools according to both rankings, behind USC, Ohio State, Michigan, and Oregon in each. 2026 5-star Edge places Texas A&M in his final 3 program list
Where's home?🦆🐘👍🏿? Texas A&M's 2026 edge class could end up reaching historic levels by the end of the year, with two key commitments approaching, starting with four-star KJ Ford out of Duncanville (TX), and five-star Anthony "Tank" Jones, who both placed the Aggies in their final three program lists. While Ford is down to Ohio State, Florida, and A&M, Jones has revealed final contenders. Jones has not revealed his commitment date, but is now down to Oregon, Alabama, and Texas A&M, as the Mobile (AL) native took an official visit to all three programs this summer, including College Station on June 13. Jones left Texas A&M with nothing but positive takeaways, knowing that defensive line coaches Sean Spencer and Tony Jerod-Eddie already have a development plan in place for the elite pass rusher to reach his full potential. Texas A&M's history of producing NFL defensive linemen is vast and unique, led by Myles Garrett, Von Miller, and Nnamdi Madubuike, all of whom are considered top players at their position. Garrett and Miller are first-ballot Hall of Famers. This summer, Jones received several predictions to land at Texas A&M early last month, but things have tightened up after his official visits to Oregon and Alabama. Still, the Aggies should be considered the favorites going forward. Standing at 6'4", 240 pounds, Jones is a versatile defensive lineman who could see snaps inside at the next level; however, his strength is off the edge, where he wreaks havoc with a two or three-point stance, and is extremely powerful once he makes contact. During his 2024 junior season, Jones was dominant, producing 84 tackles, 16 sacks, and 18 tackles for loss. According to Rivals, Jones is currently positioned as the 23rd-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the 2nd-ranked edge and the 2nd-ranked prospect in Alabama.
