American group confirm secret Glastonbury set as they tease fans with big clue
HAIM have finally confirmed they are one of the secret acts at Glastonbury Festival. The band has long been considered a glaring omission from the Glastonbury line-up, particularly considering their new album, I Quit, dropped this week. They were also already confirmed to be in the UK in time for the festival, performing a headline show at Margate's Dreamland on Friday. As a result fans had been speculating for weeks that they would make an appearance in some form. Advertisement It was initially believed they were the band 'Patchwork' that will be appearing on the Pyramid Stage at 6.15pm – with the name being the title of a book by novelist Sylvia Haim. However, that is now widely believed to be Pulp in a comeback after more than a decade away from the festival – and nearly 20 years since they were on the Pyramid Stage. Secret Sets have become a Glastonbury staple, and as the festival prepares to take a "fallow" year next year, they are making sure 2025 is one to remember with more than 42 'TBA' slots on their line-up. So far, Lorde opened the Woodsies stage on Friday with a secret set, shutting down the grounds it was on due to the amount of fans descending to the smaller stage. Advertisement Celebrating the launch of her album, Virgin, the New Zealand singer played the record in its entirety to the crowd. Lewis Capaldi also left fans in tears when he was confirmed to be the mysterious "TBA" set on the main Pyramid stage, returning two years since his last performance saw him remove himself from the spotlight completely. Glastonbury opening ceremony branded a flop by disappointed revellers as fireworks display 'dogged by sound issues' Franz Ferdinand couldn't resist playfully jabbing at Lewis's return, with the fellow Scotsmen bringing out "the Original Capaldi" for their set in the shape of Doctor Who Peter Capaldi. Sets have also been forced to change at the last minute – with Deftones announcing that, due to illness, they would be unable to perform on the Other Stage tonight. Jeremy Clarkson says he's 'done' and makes major decision after pub struggles
Clarkson's Farm and former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has documented his journey when it comes to his farm and now he is giving an insight into his pub business Jeremy Clarkson says he's "done" after struggling with his pub venture. The TV star has said that he won't be taking on any more entrepreneurial ventures after his pub due to not understanding the business behind it. The Grand Tour star took on the new business venture in July 2024 when he bought the pub in Asthall. He decided to take on the challenge after being successful with his 1000-acre Diddly Squat farm and accompanying shop. Jeremy features the purchase of the pub in the latest series of Clarkson's Farm but says he won't be doing it again. The pub is called The Farmer's Dog and has attracted people from around the country to go and visit – with many taking to social media to issues reviews. I am not starting another business as long as I live. I don't understand it and am not motivated by money. I just want a good craic." The former Top Gear host has been showing his pub landlord journey during his series and he has also revealed the funny reason why he chose to name the pub The Farmer's Dog. In the fourth episode, Jeremy can be seen reading through documentation about handling the pub's purchase and this is when he finds out that the surrounding Oxfordshire area is regularly visited by people who enjoy having sex in public spaces. Jeremy finds that the pub's garden area is designated by the council as "a picnic site". Clarkson then called his lawyer to explain the situation and he was told that the site previously attracted some "unwanted and anti-social behaviour" that "might put you off eating your picnic". The lawyer said: "We have happened upon some quite interesting photographs which capture certain graffiti and certain goings-on." Clarkson then visited the area himself and found that it was still going on as he found underwear thrown in trees. He first talked about the dogging rumours when he shared a post to his Instagram page. He stood outside of the pub as he held up a stick with a pair of black and pink knickers hanging off the end. He wrote: "Tell me you bought a pub on a dogging site without telling me you bought a pub on a dogging site." The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter also had a serious health scare that saw him rushed to hospital recently. He underwent surgery upon finding one artery was completely blocked and another nearly, after waking up one morning feeling "clammy", with chest tightness and odd sensations in his arm. Following his health scare, Jeremy has had to make some "horrific" changes to his lifestyle, including exercising, cutting down on alcohol, and changing his diet, all of which means he's "not allowed to have fun anymore".

They have been taken on by the local authority and are set to be used as temporary accommodation for those facing homelessness. But one of the flats was once home to Mark and Jeremy, in Peep Show. The duo, played by David Mitchell and Robert Webb, are remembered for their chaotic shenanigans inside the London property, alongside Matt King or 'Super Hans'. New tenants could retrace Jez and Mark's steps through the two-bedroom home and share conversations in the living room while overlooking "majestic views". One flat hit the market last year, and it boasted an integrated, modern kitchen - a step up from the iconic dingy blue one the Peep Show roommates burnt toast in. The family bathroom was similarly been renovated and a long way from the bathtub Jeremy found himself sleeping in many times. The listing, posted by estate agents Black + Blanc, Bromley on Rightmove read: "This an excellent opportunity to purchase a recently fully refurbished and renovated two-bedroom apartment in the iconic Zodiac Court. "The property is an ideal purchase for an individual looking to get onto the property ladder as a first time buyer or a buy to let investor looking to obtain an attractive rental yield." "The owners have been able to refurbish and polish the original parquet flooring, which adds to the character of the property. "The décor is light and airy and will allow a buyer to use their imagination to put their stamp on it." Measuring 792 square feet, the property has two generously sized bedrooms with ample storage in the master and integrated storage in the second. "The apartment is installed with central gas heating, and each room has large gas central heating radiators. "The apartment is integrated with double-glazed windows," the listing added. The flats will provide a safe space for those waiting for long-term housing. It will also see Croydon Council hit its targets for Homelessness Duty under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. There's a mix of two and three-bedroom flats, like the one described above, available. They will all come furnished with the essentials, and there's a 24-hour concierge. Funds are being sourced from the Right to Buy scheme, Local Authority Housing Grants, and borrowing. Jason Perry, Executive Mayor of Croydon, said: 'This is another step in addressing the significant homelessness challenges we face. "The increased demand for services and shortage of accommodation means we have to look at doing things differently, and the purchase of Zodiac House is a good example of this. 'The scheme will give us 73 residential units to support residents facing homelessness. "This will improve the Council's supply of accommodation and reduce spending on expensive temporary arrangements, as well as providing safe and secure homes for our residents.' This comes as the house that featured in a hugely popular BBC sitcom from the 90s has gone on the market with a £330,000 price tag – but can you name the show? As a clue, the main character's catchphrase was 'I don't believe it.' The property seen in the classic British comedy One Foot in the Grave was the home of the perpetually grumpy character Victor Meldrew and it could be yours for £337,500. The exterior of the terraced property in Christchurch, Dorset, featured heavily in the 1990s show. Meanwhile, Rightmove has revealed the most viewed homes so far in 2025 - including a £59 million townhouse, and an 'historic gem'.
